Although I usually only get ramen at more well-known spots, I had to try this out, and was low key impressed. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - Located inside Legacy Hall (which has sooo many places), just walk up and order, grab it and hopefully find a place to sit (crowded). Staff - 5/5 - Friendly. I am sure they will provide recommendations, but I already knew what I wanted. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Shoyu - 4/5 - $14 - Broth was clear tasting and not bad. I prefer pork broth, which leads into the next item. - Tonkotsu - 4.5/5 - $14 - This one was much better, as I recommend pork broth over chicken in ramen. I recommend this if you are craving ramen here. - Japanese Cheesecake - 3/5 - $5 - Went with the green tea flavor. Good, but TINY. This hibachi spot is located in the legacy food hall in Legacy West. Of all of the food places there, we decided to try it out but was not too happy with our order. The line was long so we thought that maybe it was good. I totally should have yelped it but was thinking how bad can stir fry be. We ordered through a lady up front taking orders, then we paid with another employee, then waited on the side until our food was ready. We had enough time to walk to the middle area to get our drinks from the fountain drink station. We decided to order: 1. Stir Fry Yakisoba with Steak and Chicken - this was way too salty and the chicken and steak was dry. I did not care for this much and wished I had ordered something else. 2. Tonkatsu Ramen - it was just okay, nothing great but good enough to eat. Broth was not too salty which is good and the flavor was okay. 3. Chicken Karaage - this too was a bit salty but fried well. This place is located inside legacy west, there's plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs and outside on the second floor! The scenery is nice . The service was very friendly. We stopped here on the way in to look at the menu while one of the employees talked and played with my daughter. Yummm! I love me some ramen and they had so many interesting and delicious options here! I asked for a recommendation, and unfortunately the employee was unable to give me one. He didn't really know which was kind of odd but he may have been new or never tried the food (I would if I worked there ). I went ahead and ordered the Steak Ramen. I was gonna play it safe and get Tonkotsu since that's always a fav of mine, but I'd never seen steak in ramen, so I went for it. Now, the steak itself didn't have much seasoning, but the beefy flavor added something special to the broth. The steak pieces were also SO INCREDIBLY tender! Like, I had to chew 3 times and done type tender. New York strip isn't an "untender" cut, but I didn't imagine it would have been Prime Filet type tender! I can't wait to come back and try more!
