    Poke boat

The Poke boats are fresh and filling! You have your choice of Ahi, Shrimp or a combo of both on your choice of rice, salad or chips with toppings! If you get the large one with rice, it feels like it weighs a ton! They pack on all the goodies! Friendly service with great food is always a win/win! The food truck has a kiosk which makes it easy to order and pay! They serve a few different Hawaii sun & other drinks as well. Everything we've had so far has been ono! Just need to try the açaí bowl next!! You can catch the truck at different farmers markets and pop up events around the east bay and mountain house area! Check out their IG to see where they are when! We love supporting locally family owned businesses and will definitely be going back for more!

Chef Hits the Streets can be ordered from Door Dash for delivery or one can pick up food at their location when it's available. they also do pop ups around the Bay Area. only decor seen was pennant on food vehicle announcing: "Hawaiian Poke". unknown if other Hawaiian eats will be on menu. saw them at the Asian and Pacific Islander Arts & Culture Festival in Alameda on 4/20. they were near the entrance. self-service at ordering kiosk at the left window. no human contact. pick up order at right window when it is ready. offerings: Poke by the pound (26). poke boats, extras: tortilla chips, white rice, mix greens, beverages, party trays. eats: poke boats, half ahi tuna, half cooked shrimp (18). choose mix green as base, skipped chips, white rice. (choice of 2) -shrimp and tuna tasted/looked fresh, didn't have any flavor. had garnish of sesame seeds, white onions, green onions, house made spicy mayo drizzle. -no tax charged. -unknown if this is "authentic" Hawaiian Poke, drizzle was fab, made the dish. never visited Hawaii. whatever this was, it tasted pretty good. tummy happy. *seating in area at the right side of entrance. take outs: -the immigrant Park where event was held has no on-site parking. -upon giving me my food, owner said: "mahalo" (thanx in Hawaiian) -only the owner made the food, and passed out same. one person operation. *this no doubt cuts down costs, savings passed onto customers. May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

1/2lb ahi with chips - on the side. He will put over chips if you want!

We visited Ululani's today after our hike, and it was the perfect refreshment that we needed!…read more When we got there about 2pm, there was a long line, but luckily it moved fast. We grabbed a menu to look at the options. I liked how there were two water coolers with little cups for people. That way guests can drink some water while waiting. Very nice! We both got the Ulu size (the big one) of shaved ice. My boyfriend chose the Root Beer Float while I got the Hawaiian Sunset and added mochi to it. We nabbed a table when one opened right up after we ordered. Our desserts came out within 5-7 mins. Pretty fast! The shaved ice was so finely shaved that it was perfectly fluffy. The flavors were sweet and tasty! Next time I want to try their Azuki Beans. Service here is quick and friendly. The place has seating inside and outside of store. They have a restroom for customers. We didn't check out the restroom so no idea what it's like there. They also sell spam Musubi on the weekends. They have dirty sodas, ice creams, snacks, and other items that they sell as well. We're looking forward to visiting again and again soon! A little taste of Hawaii in the Bay Area! :)

Stood in line for…read moreabout 30 minutes and ordered the sunset beach... after having ululanis on every Maui visit I was excited for something special and boy was I disappointed First they took 30 minutes to prepare my order. I visibly saw the staff moving slow, casually talking and relaxing behind the counter with no hustle or empathy for patrons taking time out of their day to visit. Second the flavors were oddly sweet and syrupy. The shave ice itself was impeccably soft and pillowy but I couldn't get over the very unnaturally flavors coming from the syrup. The toasted coconut toppings I will say were a nice touch Anyway, just not worth the time imo. If the service were better I'd have planned to go back and try more flavors but I can't imagine the thought of giving up an hour of my life for this kind of experience
