My kids beg for Chef Ray! We got pancakes and chicken.

We first experienced Chef Ray at his food truck in Moore. When we found out he had a brick and mortar location we knew we could get our fix whenever we wanted. Chef Ray's chicken is so succulent, juicy, and delicious. The serving size is extraordinary! The Parlor location in mid town is unique and welcoming. If you are looking for yummy chicken fingers, Chef Ray is your man!!

I was passing through OKC and yelped this place for a quick pit stop..... and boy did it deliver! It was inside of Parlor OKC so there were other restaurants in the same building and multiple bars! Ambiance was definitely there! Customer service was great! Food came out quick and the guy behind the counter was great! But you are here for the food so let's talk about it! Obviously I gave it a five but the presentation was great, visually delicious looking, it came out piping hot, and generous with the fries! Flavor was definitely there, strips were a great side, and it was messy just like I like it! It definitely delivers on the food truck vibe and boy is it delicious! A must try! Gotta go now, bye bye then!

Great service, and fast and friendly workers. The food came out hot and fresh. The chicken was tasty, not the best I've had in OKC but also not the worst! They give you a basket surely enough to feed two people and the sauce options are creative and tasty. Nice ambiance to set and watch a sports game.

    Fried Chicken Bumble Bee basket

Best fried chicken in OKC. Great portion size too. I had the bumble bee and it was delicious. The Parlor is also a fun place in general. 5/5 recommend

They came to our neighborhood for the second time and we had missed their first visit but people had raved about them. We had to try this chicken out! I got the Nashville chicken basket (asked for lower heat) and my husband got the honey bee. The Nashville was so delicious and the sauce bled on to the fries and it was wonderful. I had it with bleu cheese and ranch. The only thing I would change is to have more sauce or extra hot sauce on the side. The honey bee was good too, my husband really liked it. I definitely preferred the Nashville chicken. We got a sample of their seasonal ginger pumpkin Banana pudding and it was great as well! One extra comment is that they were not wearing masks so if that's a problem for you, just be aware of that. We would definitely return!

Can I rate more than 5 stars!? My first time there & I loved it. Quarantine life and they stopped in our neighborhood pool clubhouse parking lot pre-planned...+2 stars The line was long and DEFINITELY worth the wait. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken basket. It was flavor packed and the fries... Yummo. The food came out piping hot. It was pretty delightful & delicious. +5 stars I would go back for sure. They get from me. The staff is friendly & delightful as well. Keep up the good work. Return whenever you can again... My monies were well spent! Even had leftovers from the overstuffed box! Chicken Sandwich with fries- delicious

Delicious! The chicken was very good! I really liked the chicken sandwich. It was messy but so good! There is also a variety of tasty sauces to try. The portions are large and the service was great. It is kind of hidden upstairs in the back, but it is worth the search. I would definitely recommend coming here because it is delicious!

Hand breaded chicken marinated and made fresh each day with handcut fries prepped daily. All the sauces except ketchup and BBQ sauce are scratch made. Best chicken in OKC.

Chef Ray's Street Eats (CRSE) had been in my bookmarks for years, but something always prevented me from trying the food. I'd kinda resigned to the fact that it wasn't going to happen, but then they showed up at my work, and at that point, it felt like I had an obligation to give it a go, you know? Now when you hear that a $10 "basket" includes three chicken tenders, fries, and a piece of bread, you're likely to think that it doesn't sound like much. I know I thought that. But these aren't some piddling, mingy, rat tails à la Raising Cane's. These tenders are plump, juicy, and possibly full of growth hormones with how wonderfully large they are (I don't curr, gimme my fat chicken tenders). They're not overly breaded either; there's a nice balance of crunchy breading and tender white meat. And then you get the sauce on top and it's... ::pantomimes head esplode:: The chicken tenders are the meaty vessels, but the different sauce options do most of the flavor-work. Even the small aspects about CRSE's food is impressive. The fries have this... slight bit of sweetness (something is sprinkled on them maybe?) where I'm fairly certain I'm imagining it, but I'm appreciative that if I'm going crazy, that my craziness is making the food taste better. And the little pickle slices as a sweet garnish makes me wish that they'd give more. The homemade ranch is also quite delicious. Really lookin' forward to trying the Bang Bang sauce next time. I can't think of a single thing to complain about it. Which is weird, because I do like to complain. Oh right, so their Instagram will sometimes show sandwiches, but I guess they're specials? Or are they available whenever? It's not clear. I do love the idea of getting a sandwich from CRSE, but the menu I saw made it seem like tender baskets were the only options.

Okay listen, before I start this review I need everyone to promise they will not tell my grandma what I have to say. My fiancé and I went last night in a neighborhood in Edmond. She got the Nashville chicken basket and I only got the banana pudding. With that being said, I stole some of her French fries and they were DELICIOUS. The ranch dressing is to die for. Now that banana pudding....is hands down the BEST banana pudding I've had in my life. (Don't tell granny). It was perfect. Not too sweet not overly banana. If I could have bought their entire inventory of it, I would have. The Nashville chicken is very spicy and I can't handle it. But my fiancé couldn't stop talking about how good it was. 10/10. DEFINITELY going back.

Ever since the quarantine started, my neighborhood has been organizing various food trucks to visit us, in order to give us a break from cooking, and support local. It's been nice and Chef Rays was such a treat!! We ordered the regular chicken basket and the Nashville got chicken basket. Both came with fries and toast, and a sauce of your choice. The chicken was super moist and perfectly cooked. My husband said that his chicken was the perfect spicy, and that the Carolina reaper sauce made it even better! I'm so glad that we got to try it and will definitely order from them again if given the chance!

    Korean Spicy Chicken

Very good! Lots more to choose from when I arrived. I ended up with the Korean Spicy Chicken. Would go back and try others.

Amazing Nashville Hot Chicken! The chicken was well breaded and super moist. The fries were well seasoned and delicious. The atmosphere is Parlor is awesome and this chicken is definitely worth checking out.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.

Originally had a 9 PM reservation but was able to replace it with a 7:15 PM reservation. Unfortunately, the road by the restaurant was closed, making it very difficult to find parking and being able to physically walk to the restaurant. Due to construction, we arrived at the restaurant by 7:30 PM, which, as stated per policy that 15 minutes was allowed in order to not get our reservation reservations canceled. My party of three was not able to get seated until a little after 8 PM, not sure why. I believe we were told that they were not enough tables despite our reservation. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal but my party and I were a bit confused lol. We were seated in the area of the restaurant that was a bit, secluded from the rest of the floor, I think there were only three tables total in that section. Our server was amazing. His name was Jason. He did such a good job at explaining the dishes we were interested about, gave us really good recommendations and took very well care of us. We ordered a lot of food! Appetizers, we started off with the Korean fried chicken, which was crispy and crunchy. I would get them again as an entrée. We also got the house rolls that came with a gochujang like butter, had a hint of sweetness along with spicy. I ordered the American Wagyu ribeye as recommended by our server Jason. He told us that the rib I would be so soft that a butter knife could cut through it, honestly, it didn't taste as amazing as it sounds. I hate to put that in this review, but maybe it was my unfortunate luck. No complaints though because it was still good, just not as described. Big old chunk of meat, so it was nice being able to take it home as well. I guest at the table ordered the bra, short rib rigatoni, it was very interesting to see the Korean flavors connect with pasta! The other guest at my table had the very short rib with sweet potato grits, the short rib was so flavorful that I'm intrigued to get that next time. I was pleasantly shocked at how much flavor and how tender it was, I was jealous. I'm a big fries girlie, so we ordered the side of fries with spicy ketchup. To my surprise, the ketchup was actually spicy. We also ordered the brussels sprouts as our side, it was addicting. Probably one of the best brussels sprouts I've had. The banana pudding and Keylime pie was for to go, and unfortunately for you guys I did not get dessert to go. Although I will not be able to describe it to you all, the two guests I went with said they were too good. For some odd reason, this visit was so much better and tastier. I would love to come back.

Maht | Chef Kevin…read moreLee's Maht arrives as one of Oklahoma City's most ambitious dining experiences, threading Korean-American influences through a steakhouse framework with results that range from very good to genuinely unforgettable. Start with the sweet shrimp carpaccio stop everything, order this first. It's the rare dish where every element earns its place: delicate, briny sweetness from the shrimp harmonizing in a combination of flavors that felt both surprising and inevitable. The table agreed it was the dish of the night. The strawberry crème bingsu may be the most talked-about dessert in OKC right now, and the hype is earned. Strawberry sorbet, fresh berries, condensed milk, whisper-light bingsu snow, and the crunch of pistachios -- it's architectural and refreshing all at once. We found Maht because of a bingsu video on Instagram, and I've had bingsu in Korea. This is the best I've encountered. In between, the kimchi risotto impresses with genuine kimchi funk and umami depth. The salt + pepper green beans are deceptively simple -- a clean hit of chili heat that disappears off the table. The bokbunja glazed duck delivers on both flavor and presentation, and the snow crab mac and cheese is lush and satisfying, though the crab itself gets a little lost. The crab scallion pancake is generous and well-seasoned; the parker house rolls lean on the chili crunch honey butter (rightfully so). The gochujang lamb chops have good bones but the gochujang pushes a bit hard. The scallop crudo felt like the one course still searching for balance a touch small for the price and slightly oversauced. The New Whiskey Sour with egg white foam branded with "Maht" is a thoughtful touch that delivers. Maht isn't without room to grow, but when it's on and it's on often it's one of the most exciting meals in the state.
