I was definitely nervous about booking based on the mixed reviews- I guess it depends on the stylist. I had a dry style with Alandre and was very happy with how it turned out! She took the time to listen to my concerns, put extra spray to help my hair hold for a later photoshoot, and showed me how to comb it through. My hair held up great and I was very happy! The only thing I'll mention is that dry styling is only $9 cheaper than a blow dry with style, which I think is a little odd, but still reasonably priced overall. read more

So glad this place has a branch in Marlton. I originally was going to the Glassboro location, but have moved since. This location offers the same services and my hair is the same great quality each time. The stylists are very nice and professional. The only criticism I will give is some of their red chairs have the color chipping off of them and may need to be replaced. I've been here twice, once for an evening out for moms and once for my birthday. I had an amazing time on both occasions. The special event featured a life coach and door prizes after getting relaxed and having our hair done. It made me feel really beautiful and appreciated. The stylist took the time to listen to the concerns I had about getting a certain style. My hair is fine and doesn't hold a curl very well, but she reassured me that if it didn't turn out the way I liked, she would redo it for me. It turned out beautifully. The second time I was there, I got a scalp massage at the shampoo bowl before getting my hair done. I was SO relaxed when the shampooing was done that my legs were like jelly! Again, my stylist took the time to talk to me about my hair type and what would look good. Once more, I was not disappointed. I looked like a new woman. I wish I didn't live so far away, or I would be visiting this location more often. My daughter is getting married in November and we plan to get our hair and make-up done here. I've seen the make-up look book and I'm very excited to give this a try. One thing I would suggest to women having their hair or make up done for a special occasion would be to have at least one, if not more, trial run sessions. The day of your event is not the time to be trying something new. You want to have your hairstyle and make-up locked down. The girls at Cherry are very friendly and extremely accommodating. They've helped me to find a great look 2 out of 2 times. I am confident they'll continue to do so in the future. read more

A "blow out" as sweet as a bowl of cherries... As a recent South Jersey  transplant &  South Florida (Miami) native with my typical Columbian-Jewish ethnic crown of impossible kinky nappy curls, I was not optimistic about finding the perfect salon or stylist out the gate to blow out my mess on a weekly (& affordable) basis. In Miami - a salon, as such, can be found on almost every corner. But, alas - I digitally happened upon Cherry Blow Dry Bar Marlton. The stylist's chair I was so wildly fortunate to fall in belongs to a young talented upbeat professional named Dyamond D.  She is no "diamond in the rough", she is a an absolute precious polished GEM! When one relocates to a new state & neighborhood,  there are a few musts. Finding the best & most suitable grocery; eateries; bank branch; doctors and a dentist but for this South Florida girl, finding the perfect blow dry salon/stylist tops the list. If you've ever been to a Dry Bar (blow dry salon location), Cherry Blow Dry is similar.. but a little more laid back; more intimate & less corporate bougie of an experience. I've been 4x so far in just the last month. Evidently, all stylists are trained in the same manner, so quality & consistentcy of service & results  never waivers...(Although, I AM stuck on Dyamond.) A menu of services & blow dry styles (include but are not limited to: Wondrous Waves; Big & Bouncy; Beachy Keen; Straight Out and Retro Glam or combinations thereof) await you upon entering. The aesthetic of the "bar" is a combo platter of shabby chic, clean modern lines and earth tones with accents of cherry red (of course). Very clean & Covid-safe, to boot! I give this salon a review of 5 Stars or 5 Cherries  or even, 5 Diamonds - as the case may be. "Blow" a kiss goodbye to searching for the perfect blow dry... here it is and and open 7 days a week - like a cherry on top! read more

I absolutely love this place. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by smiling faces and you're never waiting too long for your stylist. I've had several of the stylists and they all do an amazing job. There's music and an upbeat environment. They offer refreshments as well. Jahneé did an excellent job on my hair right before I had to go to a wedding! I have really long and thick hair, and she was patient, no fussing or puffing, or hair shaming! She handle my hair with care and I didn't have any pain while she combed it through for straightening. At the front desk, Chaya, was amazing as well. I'm really glad that I didn't end up going to another salon and ended up here! I hope to visit again for another blow out soon! UPDATE: I noticed the blow out started to frizz only 2 hours after :(. I had to do a lot to smooth it at the wedding and even then because it was not really smoothed with a round brush from the beginning (as I suggested a few times to the stylist bc qas worried about this)- but that did not work after the fact. So still good service, but improvement needed with skills. I tipped very generously. But this was not worth $65. :/. I would still try it out here again but not before a big event. read more

I love this place! I have had my hair styled here at least 15 times and have loved every appointment! The stylists have provided me with a variety of styles for special occasions and every day life. I have thick wavy hair that is a pain for me to blow dry and style. I can't believe how smooth the stylists can make my hair! Nothing exciting to report about this place. I went here before a wedding with two other family members before a wedding, and none of us were thrilled with our blow-outs. Mine came out okay, but it barely held. I had stressed to the woman doing it that it was was a humid and windy day, and that I likely would need more product in it to hold for the duration of the day. She responded by putting a tiny bit of more spray in, but that didn't do a thing. I had to go home and apply my own product. The one good thing to report is that the shampoo used had a lovely scent. Moral of the story, find somewhere else for your blow-out. read more

Scheduled in person sharing I received a gift card. Confirmed Friday for my Saturday and confirmed the cost (69.99). Decided to get a $12 add on scalp massage. At check out was told my GC was not valid in this store ( a good time to tell me this would have been when I scheduled) and instead of a total of 82 my total was 111.00. I have a membership and always walk out feeling gorgeous. All the stylists are very talented and front desk is super friendly. Some constructive criticism for the overall franchise I think is : 1- memberships should be able to be used across all locations 2- app is a little wonky, it used to let me schedule appts but it won't now and no one at the salon was able to address the tech issue 3- I think the extra $ they charge when you have extensions is a bit excessive and should be waived for members read more

Went before a wedding. Spent $45 plus tip and redid my hair the minute I got home. Two braids on the side were loose and didn't look like braids and the curls were sloppy-looking. It was a sad waste of time and money. They all seemed very nice though so that was a plus. read more

Love this place- I've been going once a week to get my hair blown out or curled since it opened. Everybody is very nice and I love my hair when I leave. Their hairspray isn't strong enough to hold my heavy hair so I always re-spray it when I get in the car. I took off one star because the girl at the front is always trying to sell something - when I check in AND when I leave. read more

Booked an appointment here for prom and did it month in advance. Got there and they didn't even have my appointment in the books. Not only did they not have my appointment but they made it seem like it was my fault. Had the email confirmation and everything. Also got my hair curled and it fell out within an hour and my hair holds curls rly well. They had to squeeze me in and didn't get helped til 45 minutes after my appointment. read more

I went to this Dry Bar before a family wedding. The experience started out well, and my hair was OK (nothing special), but I deducted some stars for the experience with makeup. I wanted a more natural look, and the person who did my makeup overdid my brows with brow liner, did not use eyeliner until I told her, and the eyeshadow was a hideous gold color. I was upset and had someone else who worked there redo my makeup. Even then, I was underwhelmed and she had applied a too dark color above my eyelids. I was in a time crunch and did not have enough time to have her completely redo my makeup a third time. When I got back to my in-laws house the looks I got from my husband and mother-in-law confirmed the poor job done at this salon. I ended up taking off 99% of the brow filler/liner and most of the eyeshadow above my lids. My eyeliner was not applied well either. I keep going back and I'm not sure why other than the previously purchased blowouts. I'm terrible at confrontation and it's hard telling someone that they didn't give you what you asked for. First time was just for a simple French Braid. It took 5 or 6 different stylists who all said they could braid before they hired one who actually could do it. Instead the girls played with my hair for 1-2 hours which in most cases is WAY longer than you expect to sit there. This time as it's winter I wanted my hair down. I hate the Patty Duke type of curl under or over so today I asked specifically for the retro glam look as I had had it once before there and it looked good. What do you think I got? Curled ends Patty Duke style. Thank God this thing is tomorrow not tonight or I'd just keep crying. The staff is very nice and they do a great job on my mother's short haircut but mine?
