I just had my Jayco pop-up serviced there. They had every opportunity to shaft me, but didn't. Their prices are quite reasonable and they were completely honest with me. How refreshing... The only trouble - they never fixed what it was brought in for. Had to go back a second time (they are a 2 hour drive for me). Left the camper again, for another trwo weeks - and when I picked it up, it still wasn't completely fixed. I would up doing the rest of the job myself. read more

I initially had a fairly decent experience with the Chesaco Motors in Joppa, MD. when i purchased my new 2022 RV. However, after I arrived home, about two hours away, I discovered a problem with my plumbing system. My pipes were not fully connected and caused a major leak. I contacted the dealership for service and was told i would have to make the two hour trip again to have them look at the camper. As this trip is costly and timely, i asked that they provide some credit, reimbursement, travel discount or something to offset the major inconvenience as I have only had the new RV for 2 months. The pipes should have been properly and fully inspected before the sell. Nonetheless, I spoke with my original sales manager "Richard" who was very sympathetic and professional as we discussed the problem may be a simple seal and wondered if it could be shipped for my direct installation. This would save me travel cost and less inconvenience. He then transferred me to a Service Advisor "Denise" who was totally unprofessional. This person told me there would be no option provided to me besides making a two hour trip with the entire camper in order to receive assistance. She advised no reimbursement, credit or any sort of accommodation would be considered. When i expressed my disappointment and frustration, she rudely hung the phone up in my face. This person "Denise" should not work with people, has no customer care experience, is absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. I would never want to do business with her as a service provider. I left a message for the GM to call me about me customer service experience and sadly never received a call back. read more

We purchased our 1st RV for this dealer at the RV show. We was very excited to be new to the RV world. Once purchased, it has been a horrible experience since! The sale department and service in general is below poor. I would not recommend anyone buy, or use the service for maintenance repair. We have been trying to get defects issues resolved for 4 months. No one calls you back, no one pass your information on the the sale manager etc. You invest in $100,000 and everyone pays the blame game. We purchased a 2022 toy hauler, it was dirty when we picked it up. We was charged a clean fee which we was gripped off! Dirt, trash, boot prints on furniture etc. We have molding coming apart, the sofa recliner stop working correctly, the flooring is coming up, the rubber around most of the storage doors have came off and there is an inch size slash in the kitchen countertop. We pick up this new RV on 1 Oct, now is 9 Jan and we still have not resolved these issue. I would not recommend, find a different dealer. Tried to purchase a 21ft Jayco. Manager wouldn't deal at all. Wouldn't even give us his cost on trailering package. I think they are purely a volume and profit driven business. My friends warned me but I had to find out for myself. They tried calling 2 weeks later. I said the time to deal was when I was in your store. I already purchased a trailer. My advice... Go right across the street to Bay RV. Big selection and Much better experience, they will provide a much better deal and stand behind their sales. Purchased a 2021 Class C from Chesaco RV Gambrills location March 2021 but had repairs done at the Joppa location. Everything was fine with the Gambrills location until it came to the registration. We live in Delaware and Chesaco is in Maryland but the registration should have been very easy to take care of. We had a registration plate we kept from a class A we sold the week prior to purchasing this unit. Chesaco uses a third party to obtain out of state registrations that obviously has no clue what they are doing. Our MD temp tag was preparing to expire so I called to find out what the issue was. I was told the third party company was having an issue with the tag I had to put on the unit so I went to DE DMV and filled out all the required paperwork and emailed to Chesaco with an explanation on how to proceed. They ended up having to send me a second temp tag because of their inability to process the paperwork properly. I ended up just going to DE DMV and paid a fee Chesaco should've paid in order to get my registration before the second temp tag expired. After six months of ownership we found several issues that needed attention to include a fridge that completely stopped working. Chesaco was notified of these issues end of September 2021 but couldn't get us in until January 2022. I also called Forest River so they were aware of the issues because the warranty. Dropped the unit off in January 2022 and was very clear we needed it back mid March to begin our camping. While dropping off the unit I was forced to pay a "fee" of $172 in order for the work to be done. I asked why would I pay a "fee" for a unit that is completely under warranty and I was told "in case something isn't covered". I informed them I already spoke to Forest River about the repairs and they agreed everything should be covered but I ended up paying the fee because it had to be fixed. March 18th was the scheduled pick up date so I called on Match 16th. The incompetent service manager at the time informed me the unit hadn't even been looked at. Naturally I was furious and informed him of my displeasure. I called several times the next few days and found the incompetent service manager had been fired. The next guy was a little better but it seems still had issues telling the complete truth about parts ordered for our unit that never were. I was even informed a new fridge was ordered and being expedited because was already had to cancel two trips because of Chesaco. During the time I had several conversations with Forest River and one of those was about the fridge that was supposedly ordered. Not only did they not order a new fridge but there were no parts ordered and the required process for repairs wasn't followed. I called Chesaco to let them know I knew they never ordered anything and the new service manager wouldn't even speak to me anymore. The person on the phone wanted to argue the fact their system shows it was ordered even though Forest River told me differently. I then asked Forest River to call them so they were aware we were definitely communicating. It ended up taking another month to get out class c back with only the fridge fixed. We had to cancel two camping trips and didn't bother planning a third. When I picked up the unit all of the paperwork I got stated it was all covered by warranty but as of this review was never reimbursed the ridiculous "fee". If someone from Chesaco reads this review I would appreciate the "fee" returned to me. They actually lost business because friends of ours planned on buying a class C from until they saw the issues we were having. If I could give them "0" stars I would. read more

Sales Dept is great. Friendly and helpful. The parts and service dept are horrible. I can never get through to service unless it rings through and the operator checks on me 3 times. Seems they are too busy and need to hire someone to man the phones in service. Parts guy Sam dissed Jayco's manufacturing and said they just pull whatever part is available that day. After calling 2 other service depts I found Sam was not truthful or didn't have a clue about what he was talking about. The other service dept in VA was able to look up my part number and order it's replacement. It was a horrible experience and I will never be going back to this dealership for service work or parts. read more

Me and my wife began looking for travel trailers about a month ago for us and our family. We went to multiple dealerships in the Maryland area and were not very happy with the service and knowledge of the sales associates. We then came to Chesaco RV and we could not be happier with this dealership. They have a great selection and are very knowledgeable in what they sell. They have been so helpful and patient with helping us make sure we purchase the right travel trailer for us and our family. Christina Webster is AMAZING and we could not thank her enough for putting up with us changing our minds multiple times on which trailer we wanted. She was very helpful and always provided honest feed back when we were looking at the travel trailers. Visited this location today to look at used RVs. Not busy at all. The older lady at the front desk with short white hair, sadly was very unwelcoming to us. No expression, no smile, no kind words, terrible customer service. I told my friends perhaps she was having a bad day. They responded, no, this same lady acted the same way to us in December. I don't understand. Also, the sales rep, who was wearing shorts and a t-shirt in 35 degree weather, was in no rush to show us anything on the lot. We told him we wanted to see the used inventory, their least expensive, and that we had cash to pay outright. We also told him we had just been at the RV show in Timonium and we had tried to get financing for one that was $19k, but they asked for more money down or a co-signer. His response was "well, we only have 2 RVs that are $12-$14k and after taxes and tags, you're talking $16 -$18k out the door". He then said, "I would just say to save more money and come back in 3-4 months". He was in a rush and spent zero time with us. He also said they just sold 150 RVs at the show. Well, my take on all this, I guess this company is comfortable with this huge sales event and don't really care about getting any more customers. read more

We had agreed on a price for an RV at the Gambrills location with a salesman. Called the next day and talked to the sales manager, she agreed with the price and we put a deposit on the RV. Called the next day to coordinate when to do the paperwork and when the RV could be delivered to the other location due to the Gambrills location being closed. They then informed us the price was now 10k more than the agreed upon price. Even after we put money down to secure the deal. They did refund the money of course, but that was completely unethical. The only reason they raised the price was because sales and demand had gone up nationwide. But we put the money down, they charged the card the raised the price. I have had four RV's, so no stranger to buying these. They should have honored the price they agreed upon especially after charging my card. Completely unprofessional and unethical. Worst company ever! Sadly, I did not read the reviews before giving them a deposit check. They were unable to get financing, which I was sure they weren't going to be able to but due to their very positive attitude and assurances, I trusted them. That was back in February, and here we are, in May, and I'm still waiting on my refund back. The check has been sent twice...where I don't know and it never gets cashed, but I never receive it. They don't return phone calls, or emails, or...money. I m NOT a disgruntled customer, I have a new RV purchased elsewhere, just want my money back. It is now understood after reading the reviews they ONLY deal with the wealthy. If you are a working class citizen., forget it. You don't exist to them. Read the reviews. RV less than a year old. From day one of picking up the RV many PROBLEMS. The pickup survey we had noted several problems. One main thing was the on the on board generator being hard to start. Even the employees have difficulty but they told us if we had any problems to bring it back. After several camping trips and difficulty starting the generator( used electric hook up instead) we took the RV in for service before the year warranty was up. First they tell us " No one made any notes about the generator when we picked it. " Well surprise surprise. After putting down a $149 deposit to have the generator checked and requesting they fill my LP tank my final bill was $ 232.45. They said the carburetor was gummed up, no we just ran it with gas and injector cleaner with out problems once we finally got it started. Fine they already had my money, so $149.95 to clean the carburetor. Now the PL gas was $76.78., $44.99 for 0.3 hour to put gas in the tank!!!, and $ 31.79 for 6.5 gal of gas!!!!!!!! I guess I should have ask the price of the damm LP gas. I could have gotten the whole tank filled twice for that price. NEVER again will I use this dealership. I will tell all friends and family to avoid this place. Ripoff company. Did not honor any thing they said. read more

I bought a camper from Chesaco RV at the Baltimore camper show. Nice Jayco at a fair price. But the service since I paid for the unit has been awful. I had a small warranty issue with a faucet and they initially told me it would take 5 months to fix. They do not stand by their products and make you feel like they are doing you a favor by taking care of you after the sale. We are very disappointed. When I upgrade to a bigger unit I will shop somewhere else. read more

Very poor! Paper work and title work was all messed up. Had to make several trips to credit union because no paperwork was sent to them. Was made several promises that all were not fulfilled. Delivery date was postponed twice. When I asked if a date I needed was realistic he salesman said absolutely. Month later finally was delivered. Things I pointed out in our final walk through were not addressed. Some things don't even work. A sway bar was suppose to be installed for hitch, was never installed. Unfortunately I was not at the delivery site and was not able to inspect these things. Still do not have tags. Was told that was because of Covid. I purchase A truck since then and I already have tags for that so not sure why I still have expired temp tag. During process had to call salesman several times and each time he never knew the answers and acted like we were bothering him and he advised he is busy. Our RV sustained some significant damage while on a 1000 mile trip. We took it to Chesaco. The entire staff were fantastic. They were friendly, courteous, and very professional. We anticipated a lengthy repair time, however, the staff was able to repair our RV in a very short amount of time. When competed, we were highly impressed with the quality of work. We are especially appreciative for all the work Ed Mc. (service) had done. He kept in frequent contact with us, he let us know the status of our RV at each step of the assessment, and explained the repair process. Thank you Ed! We bought a 2013 Jayco 22FB New in June 2013 and we have loved the camper and Chesaco for their service and help. I had hit a tree several years ago and messed the awning and side of the camper they replaced the awning and other damage to the side and all has been since the repair in 9/2014. I think is I fare to say that Chesaco is my RV dealer for life. read more

This location seems to carry quite a few new(er) RV's, so we ended up getting a brand new tow behind 16 footer. Our sales person was knowledgeable and personable. It was fairly easy to get financing, get the truck equipped to tow it and roll out the door within a week of the original meeting with our sales rep. Of course, I probably won't need to set foot in the door for a decade yet (hopefully) but I would recommend them. read more

Chesaco Joppa and Gambrills have great sales staff but both have service departments that are awful. It takes weeks and this time a month to address (not fix) the problem with the RV. Empty promises and no results. I have missed several trips because of their inability to complete service timely, communicate issues and get good results. My friends and family have purchased 4 units from them in a short period of time (silly us) and have now had our units held hostage repeatedly. They play the blame game with the warrant and the "still waiting" game for parts. Chesaco is laughing all the way to the bank because they do not seem to care about the customer after the purchase. I will be inquiring about the lemon law and if it applies to my current issues. read more

I will never do business with these people again! I bought a brand new motorhome that was damaged. I didn't notice the damage right away, but after several rains the damage was more pronounced. Luckily I had taken pictures of the unit at the RV show. In the pictures, you can see where they tried to cover up the damage. Chesaco submitted a claim to Jayco, but the claim was denied. I called Jayco to find out why my claim was denied. Jayco told me that Chesaco tried to get more money from Jayco than the claim was worth. Therefore Jayco suggested that I take my RV to another dealership to get it repaired. I went to see the store manager at Chesaco and I was told he was "busy". Now it looks like I will have to get my lawyer involved to anything done. As soon as they get your money they are done with you. Horrible customer service! read more

We bought a 1996 used RV, price was fair but it took forever to get things done on it that needed repaired. The awning on one side has never worked properly and we were told it would be fixed or replaced. Well that NEVER happened. The story we got was that the part that they needed to repair it was no longer available.."the factory burned down" LOL. My husband had no problem finding the part on line and we ended up fixing it ourselves. It was always a run around each time we have been there. Would not purchase another RV from them. read more

My family purchased our travel trailer brand new from Chesaco In Frederick and we love it! We also purchased the extended warranty package and have used it flawlessly a few times. We noticed a propane leak and immediately scheduled a service appointment. Unfortunately only one service center, Joppa is open due to covid-19 I guess so I took it there. If I had not called and left numerous messages and hounded them after a week I still would not know what was wrong! I understand they are short staffed and busy but with your other service centers closed bring in another guy or two! I spoke to the manager about my concerns due to a large multi family trip in less than a week and Joe's response was the longer I talk to you on the phone the longer it will take to get fixed. Never mind the hour drive or the 2+ hours spent on the phone. Never mind the so-called deal we got was still overpriced ( my fault for not doing my homework ) I was still over all happy with them. Most of our camping friends say stay away from chesaco but I defended them. Unfortunately customer service is a big deal to me and they have just lost another customer. We are upgrading our trailer this fall and I know a dealership that's not going to be considered. If you have to go here expect long wait times and poor communication and don't look to management for help unless you are comforted by rude sarcasm. read more

Poorly staffed, not knowledgeable in RV's for sure. Stopped in yesterday to confirm our scheduled service for Monday to only receive a call today from Dominic it was yet canceled again. 3rd time. Chesaco RV service leaves a lot to be desired. First camping trip the fire place came off the wall tearing the carpet. Also one the dinnet chair legs broke off. Within three weeks of accepting my trailer, it is in the shop. It is now 6 weeks later and no trailer. Their sales department is okay. Their service department is very questionable. read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! My wife and I purchased a 2011 5th wheel from the Joppa location on Saturday March 3 2017. We were told it would be Maryland state inspected and any problems would be fixed. They also were to clean and perform an orientation with us. As we went through the orientation we asked why the gas connectors we're showing red indicating an empty tank when they said they filled the tanks and the gas was running; the service tech said he would look at it before we left along with several other issues we found-none of which were fixed or cleaned and the service tech didn't even have the unit completely plugged into the electric and didn't know it as we went thru the orientation and things like the microwave didn't work-he waved it off-said I'll look at it when we're done. Within 3 days of purchase the refrigerator, stove, oven and furnace we're not working. We called to see what to do because they provide a 30-day warranty. They told us to find someone near us to look at it and they would pay for it. A service provider came out and after looking at it found the gas lines leaking and out of date equipment. My wife, myself and our 2 dogs live in this RV, it is our home. I called the Joppa location and after several attempts finally made it thru to someone only to be told by the manager that there are no laws against selling out of date gas line equipment and that we were to pay the service provider here and then they would reimburse us. I refused to do that as the issue was still not fixed and this should not come out of my pocket. I was passed along to the service manager and the sales rep that helped us just to be told that everyone was too busy to help or talk to me. We were told that everything was inspected to Maryland standards and we paid several hundred dollars for those inspections. CAMPER INCIDENT On December 2, 2015 our camper was dropped off for repair at Chesaco RV (Happy Travelers) Gambrills Maryland location. Our 5th wheel unit went in for repair due to a plumbing leak in the shower, main slide repair and generator gas gage problem. On or around January 4, 2016 we were notified by friends that they saw that one of the doors on the camper was hanging open at the facility. (The facility was closed for the holiday from Christmas Eve and reopened on Jan 4th). We went to the dealership immediately that day and found our unit unlocked and the door wide open (we locked the unit with our spare keys). When this was addressed with the owner of Chesaco RV Steve Shapiro, he denied that it was our unit that was left opened and stated that there was an identical unit on the lot that looked like our unit that was left open. After being at the Gambrills location for over a month and a half, the service department contacted us and stated that they were unable to make the repairs to our main slide due to limited space in their shop. Arrangements were made for the unit to be transported to the Joppa Road Chesaco location on January 15, 2016. On January 29, 2016 we inquired about the status of our repairs and were told to us that the camper had not even been transported to the Joppa Road location as previously discussed. They had called us back to tell us that in fact it was there and that they had not received it into their paperwork so they had no record of it being there at all. It is unknown to us as to when our unit was transported from the Gambrills Chesaco RV location to the Joppa Road Chesaco RV location. On February 2, 2016 we were informed by Chesaco RV Jappo Road location, that our unit had been vandalized (several other units had also been broken into). We went to the facility to find that our unit had been ransacked with a lot of damage. All three TV were stolen, walls were destroyed where a broken TV bracket was hanging, broken cabinets/doors, scratches on the counter top, stolen bedding, stolen food, alcohol and other personnel items. After the theft incident, Steve Shapiro promised to handle all repairs to our unit. A few weeks later we called to inquire about the progress and we were informed that Chesaco does not have the proper insurance to pay for the repairs to our unit due to the theft incident and we would have to use our insurance. Steve Shapiro stated that he would cover the insurance deductable. After making the claim with our insurance it took Chesaco RV several weeks (several phone calls made by us) to complete and submit a repair estimate to our insurance adjuster. On March 15, 2016 after finding out that no repairs (original repairs, reason unit taken in) have been made to our unit we decided to take our unit from Chesaco to have it repair at another RV repair center. That day I spoke to Bert Blandes acting general manager at Chesaco regarding the deductable insurance Payment ($250.00) that was promised to us by the owner Steve Shapiro. Email inquiries and phone messages have been left regarding the deductable payment for Bert Blandes and Steve Shapiro with no response back. read more

We bought an RV from Chesaco RV 4 years ago. When we went to pick up our new RV, several things were damaged in our "new" RV. We asked that the warranty work be completed. They told us the parts were on order. We took pictures of the areas in question and we were told that they would call us when the parts were in. We did not receive a call for 3 months. We had yet to use our brand new camper. When we inquired, they told us they were in and the work was complete. We went to pick it up and nothing was done. We were told that the parts were still on order. We took the camper with us to use it for the week and then we returned it for the warranty work. It has been 4 years with no resolve. Now they want $4000 as a storage fee and the work is still not done. We have initiated all calls in regard to service! Please do not buy from this dealership. They will rob you of your money and of family experiences that you would be able to have. read more

I purchased a new 2015 Voltage from Frederick in October. The salesman Bo was great. Took it camping for Thanksgiving and had a few small issues. Took it back in December for some warranty work. After a month and a half it still wasn't finished. Being told the manufacture is sending the wrong parts. Then a week later I received a call saying a half dozen campers were broken into and mine was one. One tv was stolen and he wasn't sure if it was mine. Very frustrated the next day we drove a hour to look at our camper. Once there I find out there was only two campers broken into and two of my tv's were missing. Only one was put on the police report. Even more frustrated now that I've been lied to. No one there had the same story. I said to my wife that I need to check to see if our safe was still under our bed. The employee with us said "oh no one went under your bed" How convenient he knew this? The more I looked around it looked more like a inside job. The slides were in and was told the came into the living are through a 5 inch opening. I was told they probably put a child through there. When we kept asking about video we were told they have no security cameras and they kept pointing to the sign "We are not responsible for theft or damage" How convenient. I asked for the service manager to call me since he was off. Four days later no call. I called and now they are still not finished with the warranty work and are now working on a insurance estimate. I told them no. I just want my warranty work done. I will take my Rv someplace else for the insurance. A week and a half later I called and the parts were finally there. It would be ready to pick up the next day. I was called the next morning and the parts were incorrect again. I said I'm still picking my Rv up. When arriving we find our Rv sitting out front with a nice new gouge in the metal side. They checked all the photos throughout the time it was there and no gouge. And of course they say "We are not responsible for theft or damage" This has been the worst experience. I will never recommend anyone purchase anything from Chesaco. read more

My wife and I ordered a Rockwood Roo during the RV show in February of 2017. We waited for 3 weeks to hear from someone and I had to make a call, found out the person who was processing our order had quit and the file just sat on a desk. Once the person got the paperwork started for us we found out they had put the wrong model on the paperwork and they had to go back and change it. After it was all made right we went to the Joppa store to look and decided to order one with the floors we wanted in it and other options, we were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to have it done and delivered. We were told we had to put down and additional $1,500 to get it started which we did. At the end of the 8 weeks we were told it would be another 6 to 8 weeks to get the camper because the factory was backed up was told it would come off line around the middle of May. I was told it was done on the 16th of May and was awaiting shipping from the factory which from what I can find out is in Millersburg IN 584 mile from Baltimore. Here it is almost 3 weeks later and still no camper or clear answer on when it will be delivered to the Joppa location. I am a patient person but this is a little much for me to comprehend . read more

When I bought my camper I had a great experience. But now that is in for service I hate it!! I live 15 minutes from this location and I'm about to take my camper to Frederick to have someone who is competent in their job look at my camper. It's been in the shop since 8/10, it's now 8/22 THEY CANT TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT MY CAMPER! Nothing at all!! The original call was about my bathroom sink leaking, no information. I added that the AC was leaking in the camper, no information! I called about the bathroom fan hitting the screen, no answer on that either!! And finally my floor is falling through, something I mentioned when buying it, and I was informed then it's wear on the carpet from the slide out; less than a year later and that was clearly a lie. DO NOT TAKE YOUR RV FOR SERVICE HERE! Keep your fingers crossed for me maybe another location will be better for service read more

I travel for work (building power plants) and wanted to get away from the cost and filth of hotels. I decided to try Chesaco RV. I found a camper I wanted (Rockwood aka Forrest River). It's a 26' bumper pull and basically what I wanted. The first day I got to a campground and set it up, I had problems. Nothing was tight on the water heater, meaning is was poring water from the inlet connection and outside drain cap. I made due with the little tools I had at the time. I was also using the pressure regulator they supplied. I cleaned the water puddle from the compartment and all was well. I then left for a grocery store and returned to find every tee handle valve leaking. I decide to replace them with brass valves myself. The dealer did reimburse me for the new fittings, however should not have been necessary to do on a brand new camper. The next morning I returned from work (working night shift) and noticed the camper was colder inside than outside (around 18 degrees). The heat quit working overnight. The dealer wanted me to bring it in and repair it. I did it, they fixed it, I set it back up. The following morning, the same damn thing, no heat. The dealer wanted me to bring it in again. I actually made them get it this time as I did not sleep for almost 3 days. Literally 3 days dealing with this thing and working at night and I only owned the camper for 4 days at this point. Anyway they fixed it, I set it back up, and went to work. It lasted about 3 weeks before the heat went out for a 3rd time. At this point, I moved to a campground closer to work (about 45 minutes away from the dealer). I also switched my truck out for my car in NC, so I could not move it myself. The dealer was useless now and said I had to bring it to them. This was the 4th main issue in less than a month and they wanted me to take off work to bring it to them. I know they have trucks to move them, but refused to help. They wouldn't even send a technician out to help. They eventually quit returning my calls. Forrest River was just as useless and wouldn't help. I eventually just took it to a dealer in NC to fix it. The awning motor went out, outdoor speakers quit working, shower leaked, and the hood vent over the stove never worked. No help from Forrest River. Luckily it was under warranty and the dealer in NC (Carolina Coach) was nice enough to help. Needless to say Chesaco RV really didn't stand behind their product. They were rude and didn't even care as long as they got their money. Definitely poor business practice. read more

I bought a new camper in march of this year. This was the first time I went to Chesaco. Between the one on Joppa rd, and the one in Frederick, I finally got my camper. BUT, It was a Bait and Switch game. My monthly payments changed 5 times until they got me in to sign the papers then it actually changed again. They tell you one price and then keep raising it hoping you will just go along with it. In the beginning I was told that my offer would be accepted, I still don't know where that went. ( I guess right out the window) Every day was something different. They really need new staff there, it was a very bad experence. Unless you like being jerked around would advise you to shop somewhere else. read more

Horrible sales experience. Spent 3-hours finding the exact model we were looking for. We negotiated the price a bit because the unit had some damage from an RV show. We agreed on a price, filled out the financial forms, got copies of our driver's licenses, and gave them a down payment check. Next is the "Sales Manager" game, when he has to sign off on the deal. Everything is agreed about the selling price (no taxes or tags because we are out of state). Then, after 3-hours and all the price agreement, it's finally time for us to sign the contract. He puts the contract in front of us to sign, without mentioning a word, and lost in the numbers is an EXTRA $2,000 ($1,906 to be exact) for "Shipping & Labor". WHAT? No mention of that ever before. So, let me get this straight, we've been working on this deal for hours, and without saying a word, you're going to slide a contract in front of me that sneaks in an extra $2,000! So, the camper that you said was $12,000 isn't actually $12,000 anymore. It's suddenly $14,000, and you tried to get me to sign the form without a word. Oh, I know I said 12k, but now it's $14,000. SURPRISE!!! You should be ashamed. read more

Tried to purchase a new camper. Manager wouldn't call me back after he said he will. He talk on how good the owner was and that he care about every camper he sell. I need to see it to believe it. He Wouldn't even give us the price of the camper we were trying to get. All he wanted to know if our credit was good and it is.I think they are purely a volume and profit driven business. My friends warned me but I had to find out for myself when i got a camper from the Frederick store that was damaged and they knew it. I called the Joppa store because i heard good things about them and they turned the Cheasco reputation around they did not . Maybe they will do the right thing but i an losing hope. I don't write reviews on thing but if you are reading and working with then i wish you the best of luck. i have a tight budget and that why i camp. I also love to camp its the best family time i get. read more

May 26th, 2015 my partner and I purchased a new 2015 Coachmen Leprechaun 32" class C. We were promised by salesmen Nick Mauncele that everything would be ready as promised in his email. We did our walk through signed papers and had to wait over 3 hrs in a showroom with no air condition. My partner who let's people take advantage of him allowed him into taking the RV. Here is a list of missing items in coach and misrepresentation of what he told us. We were to have a backup camera with audio which was a lie, was to have a grill but did not come with one, missing a cushion for table that drops to bed, lightbulb missing from bathroom, no sticker of invoice, missing another set of keys. Rubber seal to entry door coming loose and was to be fixed. Shower was separating from wall which I could stick my finger between glass and wall. The list goes on and on, so make sure you get everything in writing to have proof of broken promises. I asked partner to get a lawyer to get out of this and get our money back. read more
