Office is clean and receptionist is pleasant. I had cleaning on one visit that was very good. My second visit was a temporary crown. Third visit was 2 fillings and permanent crown. I felt that the quality of care was high and attention was constantly given to my comfort. All visits were on time. I was using TRS Dental insurance for the first time, and the receptionist had a printout of all the costs that TRS paid and my responsibility. I would recommend them to anyone. Any negative stuff I've seen is wild to me. Dr. Chesson is one of the nicest people I've met. He has routinely gone above and beyond for me. I especially appreciate that he never pushes any additional procedures and his costs are some of the fairest I've ever seen. I plan on remaining a customer of his as long as he is in practice and recommend others do the same. I actually look forward to going to the dentist here. read more

Over the last couple of years Dr. Chesson has thought it appropriate to enter the room and pointedly strike up a conversation concerning my political views. Most often the conversation was light hearted and jabs often made in jest. Though, I'll admit at times I felt uncomfortable with the discussion because of my background in Healthcare. I've never found it very professional to discuss those subjects with patients. Yesterday, January 7th 2021, he entered the room ready to spark a debate insisting that I must be happy with the latest results of our nation's elections. I simply nodded and smiled wishing to just move on from the conversation, but he continued to press on waiting for a response. He made note that since the "Democrats have control of everything now" that it will be "war". He then felt it appropriate to say to me that "next time I may be shooting at you". In the light of recent events and the state of our nation, I will never accept this line as a joke. The loss of life that has occurred due to the political climate is appalling, and to sweep it under the rug as a simple joke or misunderstanding does no service to anyone. Our words have power. I am sad to say that, though I love Marlene and the office staff, I will not be returning as a patient. I hope going forward Dr. Chesson will refrain from discussing politics with his patients. I hope that no one will ever be made to feel uncomfortable for their personal beliefs at his doing ever again. read more

Dr. Chesson is so down to earth. I'm an adult-BABY when it comes to dental work, but Dr. Chesson made me feel very comfortable, as did his staff. He was thorough in explaining x-rays and recommended work and patient in answering all of my questions. Additionally, Dr. Chesson's staff is so friendly! From the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dental assistants. They are so kind and chat like they've known you for years. Dr. Chesson is great! Let me walk you through my typical experience: first off you walk in and are immediately greeted warmly. The front area is clean and welcoming, but it doesn't matter because I have literally never sat there for more than 5 minutes as they are always on schedule. Then you go back into an open office and have your teeth cleaned. They are very gentle and always informative. After a quick clean, and sometimes the X-rays, Dr. Chesson comes in, is always funny, and then checks everything out and you are quickly done! You go to the front and check-out/schedule the next appointment and you are on the way. Easy, professional, kind, and informative. I would recommend Chesson Dental to anyone! The best part is they are very honest about what you don't need, may like, or do need. I have not once had the hygienist or Dr. Chesson suggest suggest any additional services, and when I ask about concerns they are honest about what may or may not help (example: concerns about grinding teeth while sleeping and Dr. Chesson gave suggestions to try at home to determine if that is actually what is happening before attempting any additional services). read more

We moved here a year ago and found Chesson Dental as our family dentist. Dr. Chesson is great- very kind, knowledgeable and skilled. His staff is extremely helpful and caring, fabulous with kids. The hygentist, Marlene is so comforting for anxious patients like me. My kids now love going to the dentist! Pros: Friendly Cons: Suggesting services that patients may not need I had an appointment at Chesson Dental the beginning of November for a cleaning, x-rays, and exam. I have sensitive teeth but the dental hygienist seemed nice and was very informative. So I believed her when she described my teeth as having bone loss, build up, and all sorts of problems. She explained in detail why and what needed to be done. Apparently I needed a "deep cleaning." I would have to come two separate times and they need to clean half the mouth each time and...it cost $1106! I left the dentist with a schedule appointment for the deep cleaning. They charged me $119 paid for my cleaning, x-ray, and exam but they did not perform a cleaning. A week later, I sought a second opinion which described my teeth as being sensitive, gave me some gas to relax me, and cleaned my teeth. This dentist said my gums are in perfect health. I am more than happy to paid for what is required to keep my teeth healthy but I was misled into believing I required services not necessary. I would not recommend this place for anyone seeking an honest dentist. read more

I am so thrilled I found this place. The reviews are correct! Five stars isn't good enough. Wonderful urgent care, fit me right in and had a great demeanor for patient care. Thank you Donna at the front desk you are very helpful and professional. I am beyond happy with the level of care they provide. I am headed over to a referral for endodontics right now I am assuming they have he same professionalism and care. We now have a family dentist in the area! I would strongly recommend this business they are client focused and transparent in their client care. I don't love going to the dentist-so for me feeling a sense of comfort with the staff and doctor is very important to me. I only wish we had found them sooner. I unfortunately used a different dentist locally before I looked specifically for good reviews to determine where I should go. Unprofessional, poorly trained dentist. Rude staff. Had what should have been a simple filling done. Had pain for two weeks. Called back and the receptionist would not even let me talk to the dentist. Told me my pain could not be my filling cause it was too shallow. Spent $$$ at the ENT thinking it might be an ear problem only to be told it was my filling. Went another dentis and found out it was too high. Had it smoothed down and is fine now. My family and I will never go back. read more
