Basil Margherita Pizza
Adam F.

Low key Italian restaurant in a popular shopping area. This review is specifically for their lunch. And speaking of lunch, the specials they have are excellently priced for the amount of food they give you. Huge lunch selections. That said, we went around 3pm on a Tuesday. There was only one other table and only one server working at the time. He was patient with answering questions and we didn't feel awkward or rushed. He let me order a lunch sized portion of the Chicken Piccata which wasn't on the menu. Our drinks were kept a full and he was attentive without being overbearing. The food itself is above average but not exceptional. The Chicken Piccata was hot, fresh, and very flavorful. My only issue was that the piece of chicken was very small and thin compared the the amount of pasta that came with it. This was the lunch sized portion so it may be different for dinner. My wife ordered the margarita pizza and if was one of the better ones I've had. Very fresh ingredients. All meals come with garlic rolls which are pretty average but tasty nonetheless. Overall a 5/5 for service and atmosphere and 4/5 for the food. We will back again to try dinner and some desserts. I recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable Italian lunch.

Chicken parmesan with pasta and salad.

If you want delicious Italian food look no further than Chianti's. Located and Sanford and in Longwood. They offer a variety of Italian foods. They also offer barbecue pork that is slow-roasted for over 20 hours! Everything on this menu is amazing my favorite is the chicken parmesan. Currently I'm taking a class in Sanford and Chianti's caters the class each Wednesday so I have been able to try the chicken parmesan the slow-roasted pork, meat loaf, pizza, pasta and salad and of course the garlic knot bread. Everything has been cooked to perfection and not over seasoned! So what are you waiting for go get you some!

Nope! I'll never come back here again! I've been talking about coming here for a while too because it's a convenient location that I've passed multiple times. And the reviews were good but I don't understand how. Maybe my standards are higher than others when it comes to eating out and ordering pizza. The inside looked very nice- they make it look like a fancy Italian restaurant. I got 2 pizzas to go- 1 gluten free and 1 cheese. The total was $30! I'm amazed at the expensive price of pizza in the area but anyway ... the pizza was the size of a spiral notebook- both pizzas! They're pretty much personal pies. I thought 2 pies would feed my family but we had to make extra food because of the size! Beyond that, the slices were SUPER THIN, like paper. I'm not even kidding. If you buy their pizza, just hold a piece of paper next to it. They seem to use real cheese and sauce and the taste wasn't bad but for the price I paid, I was very disappointed in what I got.

You must get the Italian wings for an appetizer! I wanted to go for calamari or Fried mozzarella but they were out . I did not regret getting the wings . They were juicy , crunchy and the batter is similar to a mozzarella stick . Very flavorful batter and they give you a marinara sauce but it's better without it honestly . We got lunch special :vodka and a cheese pasta. Checked in thru Yelp and for a free cannoli and it was incredible; great filling.

We drive by this restaurant lots of time. We stopped in to try it. I was little worried when we went in. Well we got the menu $5 for a salad with a purchase of dinner. Wow better be an excellent salad. My lady order special stuff shells $29. She ask for spinach $4 extra that's a $1 a leaf. I had chicken parmigiana $19. Look like a big breast but it was on top of all the spaghetti. The food was good but pricy. $58 with tea and Pepsi.

This place is just so- so. Maybe we caught them on an off night. The value for the price just wasn't there.

The food is just so delicious, I have loved everything I've ever tried here. I always start with a side Caesar salad. I love their homemade Caesar dressing. Their homemade croutons are addictive. I sometimes ask for extra just because I love crunching into them. Tonight I got the gnocchi alla vodka and added meatballs. Those meatballs are so big, they are a meal in themselves. The vodka sauce is definitely one of my favorites around. So creamy and has a lot of flavor. The gnocchi were tender and I couldn't stop popping them in my mouth. However, everyone we encountered was helpful, friendly and cared about our experience. We started with the Antipasto Della Casa was lovely! Cannelloni beans, marinated shrimp, cheese. Salami, olives, and more! For dinner we had the Bucatini Alla Enzo and the Filetto Con Formaggio. The pasta was outstanding! The mushrooms made the dish but the quality of all the ingredients--excellent! Rudy's recommendation of the Chianti paired perfectly. The steak my partner had was cooked perfectly and was melt in your mouth tender. The slice of cake for my birthday and the cookies were a great ending. Be sure to go outside and sit by the lake. We listened to the guitarist for a while and watched the sun set. A perfect special occasion place but also somewhere to have a few drinks and nibbles and enjoy the sunset and music.

The lakeside view provides a stunning, romantic backdrop that elevates the entire evening--it's easily one of the most beautiful settings in Central Florida. The Highlights * The Custom Antipasto Tray: This is the star of the show. I love that you get to choose exactly the items you want. We opted for the mushrooms and shrimp, plus much more and all items were incredibly fresh and flavorful. It's a great way to tailor your starters to your specific cravings. * Fresh Starters: The house salad is a standout--crisp, fresh, and a perfect lead-in to the main course. * The Main Event: The Veal Scaloppine was tender and seasoned perfectly. It's clear they use high-quality cuts and traditional techniques here. * Sweet Finishes: Definitely save room for dessert. The wedding cake is wonderful and moist, and the peppermint ice cream is a refreshing, nostalgic treat that I highly recommend. Pro Tip: Parking They offer free valet parking, which makes the arrival seamless. Just a friendly reminder to bring some cash to tip the driver, as they provide excellent service! Overall: Between the customizable appetizers and the gorgeous view of the water, Enzo's is a top-tier choice for a special night out.

When we arrived, we walked into the restaurant, and noticed that the noise level inside was really overwhelming, so we asked to sit outside. It was more quiet. It was raining that day so we appreciated the canopies. We thought that was a nice touch. However, when it came time to order, I had a hard time understanding the specials because the waitress had a very heavy accent. We couldn't understand a word she said so we just ordered from the menu. I ordered the pasta with eggplant and specifically asked the waitress for the pasta to be soft and not al dente. The waitress said that they make it so soft, the pasta actually breaks, and it's not a problem. unfortunately, it didn't turn out as I expected. When my pasta dish arrived, it was pretty al dente to me and also very salty. I just couldn't enjoy my meal and was so disappointed. I was hopping that our server would come over at some point to ask how everything was but she never did. We tried to get her attention, but it took a while. By the time she was available, my partner had already finished his dinner. When I was able to speak with her about my dish, she apologized and said it was the cooks who didn't pay attention to her request. At that point, I decided to take my meal 'to go' since I didn't want to stay there any longer after my partner had finished eating. After a bit of a wait for my order to be redone, it was brought over in a plastic container instead of aluminum. As by now, when very hot food comes into contact with plastic, it releases chemicals into the food. They should really consider aluminum containers. When I got home and tried the pasta, it was still hard and not cooked to the softness I had requested. Unfortunately, I had to throw it away. I really wanted to enjoy my meal, but I was totally disappointed from this experience. I will not be returning. They can't seem to take simple instructions of soft pasta! And the atmosphere was very loud too busy and too much in a hurry.

I am a true foodie, and this was hands-down the best burger I've ever eaten. My husband absolutely loved his shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked and well balanced flavor.
