I've been trying to eat healthier, so I ordered the Ancient Grain Bowl and added chicken. At Sun King Fishers, you can scan a QR code at your table to order and pay for food. Then, you get a text message when your order is ready for pickup at the respective food counter. Or, you can go to the counter and place an order on the self-serve kiosk. A little impersonal, but I understand it helps the food vendors succeed when it's hard to find employees. I was shocked to see how large and colorful the bowl was! It was plenty of food. However, I don't feel like it was worth it to add the chicken. It was bland and didn't really add much (besides the protein, I guess). I was also shocked to see how much farro was in the bowl. I get that it's a grain bowl, but I ate most of the other toppings/ingredients and still had 1-2 cups of farro in my bowl. Overall, I liked it as a healthier option at a brewery.

You'll have a server come by to get drink orders from the Sun King menu that ranges from drafts, cocktails, and mocktails. You'll individually check out with your server for your drinks only. For food, you get up and order from the counter from any of the 3 restaurants. We follow Kelsey Murphy on Instagram due to MasterChef, so when we saw she was opening up here we were so excited! Inspo has a small plates, large plates, and desserts. The menu has stayed almost the same since opening a few weeks ago, but she added the spicy chicken sandwich. For Sundays, there will be a rotating Sunday Supper with an adult option and a kid option. Last week it was a lasagna with garlic bread and ceaser salad, and for kids spaghetti and meatballs. Started off with the Asian Sticky Wings which come in 6... and wow, this sauce is seriously good. We loved these. We also shared the Spicy Chicken Sandwich which was tasty, but we didn't get any spicy flavor or the secret sauce flavor - but the each ingredient was executed well. I wasn't sure about the apple and cabbage slaw, but it paired well. Just wish we had a bit more spice. Looking forward to coming back!

Everything was amazing here! Nicest restaurant I've been to in a while. I made a reservation with…read moremy parents for Friday evening which I would recommend doing because it was very busy. We loved the atmosphere though - the building is kind of interesting and the decoration was very classy. Maybe the main area was a little loud, but we ended up seated in a semi-private room with one other table, so we had relative quiet. It was dim but not in a bad way. All of the staff was very friendly. Our waiter was attentive and enthusiastic but didn't come across as trying to upsell us. Drinks were excellent. I usually just go for beer, but the cocktail menu looked really interesting, so I got a cocktail was very glad I did. I got the rye-based "boss fight", which was very strong with unique, complex flavours. I also had many sips of my dad's earl grey cocktail - also very interesting and delicious - and my mom's "problem child" with non-alcoholic gin. They have a really nice non-alcoholic drink menu with different NA spirits too. Food was equally excellent. We got the muhammara appetizer, I had the butternut agnolotti for my entreee, and we shared a chocolate and a vanilla-cranberry bread pudding for dessert. My dad said the muhammara was one of the best dips he's ever had. The middle eastern flavour was a little different from stuff you usually get at American restaurants, and it was presented very nicely with different garnishes. The blue cheese cream sauce on the agnolotti was also a little different and really complimented the flavour of the squash. The bread pudding may have been the best bread pudding I've had in a restaurant - it was very moist but wasn't too sweet or too rich. The chocolate cake was kind of like an oreo cake with the thick vanilla frosting and cookie crumbs - not your generic chocolate cake with white frosting, but conventional enough that I think it would make anyone happy. Maybe the portions of the entrees alone are a little small, but I think they were the right size to enjoy along with a shared appetizer and dessert. Considering that, the prices are okay for upscale dining.

When I order a $20+ hamburger I just expect more. But it's a beautiful location and the service is fine. If you like a few cocktails with your meal and are interested in the atmosphere likely as much as the food, it's probably a great option. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a coke. The coke was a bottle (if you follow me you know my thoughts on this) and my cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, though the amount of bacon was minimal at best. The fries were amazing. My wife ordered the chef's chicken special (sorry I'm not sure what it was called exactly) and she liked it but didn't love it. Our server was very nice but it did take a bit to get initial service and the pace of the meal seemed slow given it wasn't very crowded when we were there. All in all, it was a fine meal but not my favorite in town. If I want a burger there are better options at more reasonable price points.

I was looking forward to it, as this has been on my list of places to go, and we haven't been here before. There were supposed to be 10 of us be we ended up being 8 this night. We had reservations, and had the lovely little private room in the back. (The whole restaurant seems just to seat about 20 or so.) Decor is fun & a nod to all things Britsh. We had 7 scotch eggs for the table. They were served cut in half with a mustard hollandaise, and we re scrumptious. Around the table, we had a variety of beers nda cocktails. I asked the server to pair me a white to go with my fish & chips, and asked for anything except Moscato. They sent a sauvignon blanc that was perfect. My friend next to be had a bloody Mary that was definitely Instagram worthy (see pics). The menu is fairly extensive, but most of us ordered either the fish & chops or the steak & Guinness pie (like a shepherd's pie). For pricing, the scotch eggs are $14.95 ea.; the fish & chips was $29, and the steak & Guinness pie was $30, so I would classify this as "upscale pub." Everything was tasty and a #yum #ReviewsByRL
