My sister and I ate here two or three (or four) years ago - and were very happy with the service and food. As I was driving by last week, I remembered the parking lot and whipped in. Their dining room has been expanded into the business next door - whoo hoo; even more room to eat now! Pretty sure I ordered a Mushroom and Swiss burger. Was very happy with whatever I ordered (again!). I was presented with special "fry sauce". Tried a little bit, but was too close to 1000 Island for me (God intends that fries be covered with ketchup). Not opposed to eating here whenever I'm in the area. :) read more

I asked a friend who's lived here longer than me for a spot to eat and she suggested this to me, and it was exactly what I was craving. I ordered the chicken kabob sandwich and fries, it was the best sandwich I've ever had. It was a minute before I got my food, I had ordered over the phone, and thought my food would be ready when I got there, but they had done my food after I paid when I showed up. Excellent food for 'fast food'. Decided to stop by this restaurant per good Yelp reviews & location. Upon entering we were greeted by 3-4 of the employees working/cooking behind the open counter/kitchen. All had friendly smiles on their faces. You order & pay at the counter. The cashier was very helpful and had a wonderful attitude. We got the chicken philly and steak sandwich, both with fries. You get your own drinks & utensils then find a booth or table and your food will be brought to you. The food came out within 5 minutes. Fast, fresh, hot, delicious! They had this 'special French fry' sauce that was served cold and was excellent with the fries. The facilities were basic but clean. The atmosphere was bright & sports themed. 3-4 large flat screen TV's surrounded the tables and booths. Pretty big place for a fast foot type joint. Will definitely eat here again! read more

Here is a hidden gem for lunch! They have such a great selection of offerings, from all types of nationalities. It was hard to pick something or even begin to list. I went with the chicken philly. Holy flavor!!! They do the chicken breast cut into small chunks, not chopped like a normal philly, and they are seasoned PERFECTLY! I have to say, best tasting chicken I've ever had. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich and she said same thing. Came with fries which were crinkle cut, my favorite. Only issue is I loved the sandwich so much, I don't know if I'll try anything else. Place was clean and staff was great. If you like Chicago sports, you will love the decor. read more

When you have that craving for a good Italian beef sandwich look no further than Chicago Express. My family and I have been a few times and the food is consistent, well priced and fast. My go to is always the Italian beef, but the kids love the chicken strips and burgers. Growing up in Boston I was always used to having a local place like this. I'm glad Spring Hill has a place like this, so they can share some of the similar dining experiences I had growing up as a kid. The only complaint I have is the decor.. Bulls, White Sox, Bears, BlackHawks? Need more Celtics, Redsox, Bruins and Patriots ;-) Keep up the nice job! read more

Ridiculously tasty. I ordered the beef combo (juicy) with cheese fries and fry sauce. My fiancé ordered the philly steak and cheese sandwich with fries and fry sauce. We honestly planned on taking pics of the food but it smelled so good and looked so amazing that we ate incredibly fast. Too fast. I was actually mad I was full because if everything on their menu tastes as good as what we had; I would try it all. Most definitely will be back! I grew up in Chicago so for me to give this place 5 Stars it must be good. Authentic Vienna hot dogs, and great-tasting Italian beef sandwiches. My favorite is the combo beef and sausage. Fries and onion rings are fantastic and the owners are very friendly. Always the go-to place when I'm on this side of town. In a town littered with generic restaurant chains this place is a jewel. I eat in Nashville several times a week and the choices of local restaurants are in abundance, we truly are a food city. Then when I come to my home in Spring Hill the food options make me wanna shoot myself. Besides Jack of Hearts, Mac's Grub Shak and this place, along with a few others the food scene in this family mecca is garbage, which I understand because its a family town and most people are satisfied with Logans. If you've never had Chicago style food you and your arteries are missing out. With that being said its really hard to find good quality Chicago food. This place really has a good hold on how its done, this is the best Chicago style restaurant I've tasted by far in the Middle Tennessee area. I would recommend the Cheesy Beef Combo sub. Which is italian beef, sausage, sports peppers and provolone served on a hoagie roll. Order the sandwich "Juicy", which means they dunk the whole thing in Au Jus. If you forget this step, congratulations you just ruined the entire sandwich and experience. There Polish dogs are really good here as well their other menu items which range from Ravioli to Gyro's, and they make everything fresh to order. But seriously, if upon your first visit you don't order the Cheesy Beef Combo I'm going to be so pissed at you. Compliment it with a side of cheese fries with fry sauce and you're good to go. read more

Take it from some people who actually lived in Chicago for over 30 years, this place is the real deal. The family that owns the place had worked in restaurants around Chicago and it shows in the food. I had the gyros - yes, it is supposed to have an "s" on the end of it! - platter. They cut it freshly off the cone. It was juicy on the inside with a sear on the outside and properly served with tomato slices, thinly sliced onions, pita, and tzatziki sauce. Very good and great value for the money. The fries were very good as well. The only thing that would make it better would be for them to offer a Greek fry version. My wife had an Italian beef with peppers - dipped, but hold the giardiniera - and fries. She quickly became addicted to the secret recipe fry sauce. The beef was highly seasoned and the bread was good quality. We joked that the only thing missing was a stand up shelf because the only way to correctly eat a dipped Italian beef sandwich is standing up, leaning over the shelf with your elbows out. Anyway, we highly enjoyed the experience and will be back sooner rather than later when we get a taste for Sweet Home Chicago fast food. Next time we'll try a Vienna Beef hot dog dragged through the garden with no ketchup and maybe a Polish if they can serve it with grilled onions Maxwell Street style. read more

This place is more of a sit down, fill up and continue on your merry way OR wonderful take out while sitting at home watching NetFlix. The food is different, rather interesting take on Chicago, if not a transplant from downtown Chicago. From gyros to cheesesteaks, it's a mixture of different tastes with a sauce that is amazing. This sauce (secret recipe although all too familiar) is amazing on sandwiches and especially fries. The food does remind me of State Fair food, with added kick for flavor. These guys do fast food right. Italian beef, gyros, baked mastoccioli, pizza puff, and they actually have a good salad selection. Try the spinach pie if you're a veggie.
