So my revised review is: Stan's Glass can probably solve any glass problem you might have. They don't take credit cards, so you don't have any leverage if something goes wrong - you're on your own, and you'd better be persistent. If you are, they will make good. The original transaction went smoothly and in a timely manner, and if the item had not been defective, I would have been quite satisfied.

Disappointed with our experience with MC Glass after spending about $2,000 on window repairs. Most…read morefrustrating was the extensive paint damage they left on our antique windows--something we were never warned about, and they made no effort to repair. They also worked on a stuck garage window with one cracked pane (as noted during the estimate). After 30 minutes of trying to unstick it, they told me two more panes were cracked and needed replacing--without mentioning they'd already been working on it. I asked for a quote before proceeding, but they replaced them anyway. Reviewing our security footage, it's clear they likely cracked the panes during that initial 30 minutes. When I brought this up calmly with the owner, he became defensive and angry, saying he was "insulted" and didn't have time for "fighting." In the end, I offered to split the cost since I couldn't conclusively prove the damage--but overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability was disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.
