I love Chicago Nails!! They are the only salon left in the area with reasonable prices while still offering high quality service. Tina has to be one of the best nail techs I've had in a long time. She is always thorough and her work LASTS. My nails have never chipped and I'm always amazed that they truly stay salon fresh up until my next appointment. Look at these adorable valentines nails!!!!

Probably the worst mani pedi I've ever received. I called for a last minute appointment so there's that. The technician assigned to me started with pedicure and worked to remove the dead skin from my feet. she did a nice job and I greatly appreciated that. Then she oiled my legs and feet right before applying a base coat on nails (without wiping oil or drying nails with alcohol or NP remover). this is probably why, after 90 minutes of dry time, my toenails are smudged. I doubt the polish will last more than a week. I asked for the same or similar color on my fingers, in a no-chip. The color she chose, which I questioned before she started applying, was many shades brighter than I wanted. After applying 2 coats of this bright color I suggested she cover it with a darker color to try to tone it down. She agreed, but did a terrible job covering the bright color underneath, which by now was on my cuticles and difficult for her to remove. I ended up with kind of a slop job for $70 plus 20% tip, which I'll have to replace soon. Although this place is close to my home, I won't be returning.

I received an acrylic full set for the holidays and fell in love!! (This set lasted over 3 weeks!) I came in with a vision and Tina executed it perfectly! Tina helped me pick out the perfect shade of pink glitter powder, as well as walked me through the design process. Would definitely recommend their acrylic full sets .

I called here Sunday afternoon to check if they had any time that day, Tina fit me in for later that day. Covid wise the place was very clean and everyone was maintaining 6 feet apart. Tina helped me narrow down a color (which was very helpful for someone who can't decide to save her life) she did such a good job and I'm so happy I went. Thank you so much I am obsessed with how perfect these matte red fall nails are!! They look different shades in different lighting and it's amazing.

Tried out this place for the first time. Customer service is fine, they are very polite but they are way too rough! I will not be returning for the simple fact she basically murdered my fingers. She started to do my manicure and the first finger I said ouch, no response second, I asked her to be a bit more gentle and finally on the 3rd I stopped her. All 3 of my fingers have cuts and have been hurting all week! My nails look like they were attacked. My left hand is fine because I stopped her but I cannot understand why in the world she attacked my poor fingers I would for sure have come back but I'm terrified to have her cut up my cuticles again.

They are always so friendly and I have been coming to get my nails done here for 10+ years! They do get busy, so it is better to make an appointment. The pedicures always last a long time. I used to get no chip frequently but now I've switched to dip powder and loved the results! They have so many beautiful options to choose from, regular to no chip to dip!

Love going here and getting my nails done by Tina! This was my first time getting gel nails and I showed Tina a design from a picture and she nailed the design! The shape was perfect too! Definitely get your nails done by her if you're in the area

Over the last two years, I have come this nail salon due to the location convenience. I have recommended this salon to multiple people as well and they were not disappointed. As mentioned before about appointment timings, the definitely got better with that. The price for acrylic nails is the same ($22) and have Tina has not only stayed consistent with her work but has gotten better and better each visit! I will continue to visit this salon in the future for more services. Highly recommended! I wish they had more nail "designs" to choose from but apart from that it's gotten better!

I am very disappointed with this establishment. Yes, Tina was my go to gal, but I've noticed over the months, she's become careless and rushed to get more people in at the same time slot. I get it - it's her business and she's in it to make money. So that means, from my experience, rush on my treatment. I am typically to myself and mind my own business because I don't want to distract them and have an accident.. therefore, I hate it when technicians are always Yapping away WHILE working on me because it makes me nervous that they might cut me. It's fine if they are at the final step, painting, but otherwise, stay focused. She used to be focused, and I don't know what happened over time, but I am dissatisfied. Today I had to get surgery. Tina had worked on me again and I had a feeling she might have done a bad job but I couldn't tell there was a sharp nail still in my toe since I was in bleeding and in pain (on the side of my toe). She used no medicine to stop the bleeding and just rinsed it off with water; I don't even remember her using alcohol. So from then on, my toe began to get infected during my vacation abroad, causing me to limp and not able to wear the boots I had brought, and finally to the point of needing the excess skin that GREW, surgically removed. If she had been less careless, I might have given her another chance. I've given her plenty of chances since nothing this horrible ever happened to me because she would make me bleed a horrendous amount every time. The only reason I went to her was because it was nearby and open late. It used to be because she was good...but I've learned my lesson and will not be going back there anymore. Thanks for almost ruining my trip with something that could have been prevented if attention and care was given.

I got a pedicure and a soak off for my acrylics that I got done somewhere else. I also got regular polish and both services were not it.... She was hurting and cutting up my toes and my regular polish on my hands ended up being bumpy on almost all my fingers and didn't even last me 24 hours... will not be back! On average, my nails would last me up to 2 weeks, until I started coming to Tina. Every set i've done with her has lasted me a month. Her station is very hygienic and she spends time making sure each of her sets are up to your standards. There's no other nail tech I'd trust! read more

Made 2 appointments for me and my sister and they told us to come in at 4. Came in and the place is filthy, and overcrowded. Surrounded by people without masks during a pandemic. We told them we had appointments for 4 pm and they said they'll do us one at a time and still made us wait. They did a sloppy rushed job on my sister and they asked me if I still wanted to do mine even though they close at 5 and it's already passed 5. So I told them no because I didn't want a sloppy rushed job and they got upset with ME for saying no?! So not only did I not get my nails done, but I wasted an hour of my day here. Completely unprofessional, I will never give them my business after that and I don't suggest anyone else coming here either. read more

Do not go here, they do not clean their tools and they passed a fungus to my nails. Not worth the couple of bucks you save in comparison to other salons that actually take precautions and sanitize their tools. read more

Since I first started getting my nails done I have been going to Chicago nails. Never have I ever trusted another nail salon to last as long as my nails last from here. I went to go get my wedding nails done from Tina and I have attached a picture below they look amazing and my fiancé loved them as well too! I tremendously recommend this place to each and every person! Their pricing is so inexpensive and they do a fantastic job every single time :) read more

Amy and her staff are quick to help when I come in to get a fill. The prices are unbeatable and overall I am impressed with the services that they have provided for me. I love the super relaxation you feel that only a mani/pedi can bring. I was out in Skokie visiting a friend and we came here. We didn't have an appointment, but we came at the perfect time. Only had to wait about 15 minutes and then it got busy. Plenty of colors to choose from. Mostly OPI and China Glaze. Pedicure chairs had the massage feature and the service was good. We were out in a little over an hour. Also price wasn't bad...$30 for both. read more

I love this place they do a great job I got fake acrylic nails and love them. The prices are reasonable. Fill ins are only $15 and a full of nails is 22. I've been here twice and will keep coming back every few weeks to change the colors. read more

This was my first time at this nail salon and I like how they did my nails but not happy with the timing. I came in at 545 with my friend we did not get done until 815pm! I noticed many other people came in after us and when I finally asked why it was taking so long , their response was that everyone else had appointments. The interesting thing is that they did not check or ask anyone's name. The end product was nice but this is definitely bad business practice read more

DO NOT come to this salon, save your time. I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years and I will never go back. They do not value customers and their appointments. They won't take your appointment time into consideration, they will do someone else's nails prior to yours and make you wait extra time even though you have a set appointment. Horrible customer service, and the coworkers will talk about you to each other. Avoid this place at all costs. Even the owner Tina is very rude and ignorant, and has no idea what REAL customer service is. read more

Extremely unprofessional and rude. I usually don't care about people's accents but they are barely able to speak English. My mother was confused with what the lady what saying and she started to speak in a very condescending and rude manner. I will not return and neither will my mother. They need to learn how to talk and communicate with customers. Not only that, the lady then proceeded to go in the back room and continue talking but in her native language while glaring straight at my mother. I don't recommend this place and will never return. Waste of money coming here. read more

I don't want to say this place is bad because it might not be. However they do have rude people who work there. My experience there was extremely upsetting and will not go there ever again. The nail tech was getting frustrated for no reason. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and when she couldn't do it she took it out on me! It was ridiculous ! First of all, the doors were open when the online information says they will be open. No waiting!!! My technician was named TINA and she was amazing! I had just gotten off from working a double shift and I kept falling asleep. She was patient and fixed what went wrong every time without complaining. My nails were done coffin shaped, black matte, with 1 chrome silver nails and 1 gold glitter nail. Next time I am going to get a pedicure too! 5 stars!!!!! read more

While it's on the pricier side, my nails lasted over a month the last time, so it's definitely worth the price. Kristina (apologies if I'm spelling it wrong!) was kind, respectful, and very professional. I especially appreciate how sanitary she was--she asked me to wash my hands twice, wore headwear, and always kept gloves on. The salon itself is chic and well-maintained. As the day progressed and I was preparing for my event in the evening, the appointment time was cutting it way too close so I had to call and cancel. After I told the owner I had to cancel SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! I called 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to cancel. Is it an inconvenience to the business? Sure, I can understand there is an impact to a schedule change. However, to treat me- a regular customer, who has brought you lots of business- so rudely to hang up on me?? And she has my number to call me back if it was an accident, she didn't call back. I'm still astonished at this treatment. It's really a shame because now I need to take my business elsewhere. I will say that Lisa who works there is extremely talented, gives the best foot massages, and the best service in the entire place. You know in February I let it slide when I came to get a pedicure on a day that I was extremely stressed out, with my arm in a sling, and the owner and one of the older women working there made sarcastic comments about me being a few minutes late. This place used to be my go to about a few months ago however recently I changed my mind because their customer service is terrible. Linda is terrible at her job and Tina is extremely rude. They take your money and all are nice at first however if you complain about anything they show attitude and make you wait hours before they fix the problem. Yesterday I went to get my nails done. I had long round nails and asked to get fills in. Linda was helping me and was very friendly as first. Later she ended up cutting my nail to short and I asked her to make sure to keep them a bit longer. She rolled her eyes and nodded. Later as she was filling my nails I realized my middle finger nail along with my index finger nail both looked crooked. I told Linda and out of anger she tells me " it's your nail honey" Um no. My nails are not like that because I was a daily customer. I was out of the salon pretty annoyed because she was not fixing my problem. About 15 minutes later I called Tina and explained to her what the issue was and how my nails looked ugly. I honestly didn't have time and wanted a refund because my dog could have painted my nails better. Tina told me she she would fix it for me but as I was telling her how I had no time because I had work soon. She hung up on me. So the anger built up and I was at the point where I wanted my money back. I waited 25 minutes because Tina was making up lies. She lied about not having cash on her. Than she lied about not knowing how to return on the credit card. However not just that but by consistently requesting her to return my money because I was late to work she told me she would need to remove my nails before hand. They ruined my nails and she had the audacity to say that to me. That wasn't all because Tina topped it off by running her mouth in front of every customer and putting my business out there. I truly believe they are rude people. They rush their clients and it's not worth going to people who will not fix your problem but will cause a larger one. These people are terrible. If your looking for a good place then I would recommend Nailed on Oakton. My nails almost last up to 3 weeks. Don't go to Chicago Nails. read more

I've been going to this place for 11 years. It was the only place that was nice to me when I came in with my baby. Now my baby is 10 years old and they still remember when I came in pregnant! The pedicures last for over a month! Every time I try another place I am disappointed. read more
