I've been going to this salon for a few years and their staff always do an amazing job! They have a wide selection of nail colors available, they have reasonable prices for each service that they offer, their staff is great, always providing quality service. The owner Eva is super sweet and so welcoming and her salon overall has a wonderful atmosphere. Usually, I go with my mom and we get manicures and pedicures. The combo cost for a no-chip manicure and a regular pedicure is $70, so for both of us it costs us around $140 plus tips. I love going to Marla, she is just amazing with her quality of work and it's always a pleasure to talk to her while getting all glammed up. My mom loves going to Alan, he does quality work and great pedicures as well. Oh my goodness where do I begin...I went here on Christmas Eve. I made an appointment based off someone's review and figured I'd give this place a try, so I booked an appointment with Eva. I should have known this place was trash because there literally was only 1 person that was in there and she and I were the only people there. No one else walked in, the phone didn't ring-nothing! Very clean place but they were so SLOW! Nail tech had a long thumb nail that cut into my hands during the process. I told her that her nail was hurting but she ignored me. She almost cut me. I went to this nail salon just 1.5 weeks ago with my 7 year old daughter. This was my first time. I asked for a dip powder and my daughter just wanted a basic pedicure but no nail clipping or anything major needed. I had a 2:15 appt. The owner said she does dip powder. * we waited for over 30 min to be taken and were there until almost 5pm. * I showed Eva a picture of the color and designs I wanted and she not only did whatever she wanted on the design but the designs were done sloppy. * I just asked for a design on one mail on each hand and she did a design on every nail. Added a tip when I said no that's ok she said " No no I can't leave that finger shorter like that" * and then when it was time to pay asked me for whatever cash I had and then to pay the rest on my card. Other wise I had to go to the atm but other customers leaving were paying with card with no hesitation. * my dip powders last three weeks without chipping and this has only been 1.5 weeks. SO glad I gave this place another chance. The second time I came here was to try their dip powder nails since I have heard such great things about it. *I had come here a few days earlier to get a regular pedicure done, and the owner must have found out that I was not completely satisfied with it so as soon as I walked in, she offered to redo my pedicure. I was completely shocked and not expecting this but she insisted. I had Susan as a technician for my pedicure and the service was quite impressive. She took her time, and my toes came out beautifully. Coming here made me learn not to judge a place based on one bad experience!* As for the dipping nails, I LOVE THEM. They do cost more than no chip, but so worth it in my opinion. I noticed they last longer, and do not peel away at the sides like no chip tends to do after a few weeks. The process of dip nails does take longer than no chip, so make sure you aren't in a rush when you decide to get them done! I also brought a friend to have her nails done for her birthday. Walked in to get a pedicure and the gentleman working was great. He squeezed me in before his appointment but still was very detail oriented and made sure to do a quality job. The pedicure was about 35 minutes, included a short scrub and massage, and the paint job turned out perfect. The place is also very clean and well maintained. Will come back again. read more

Probably the best pedicure I've gotten in a long time!! I came here on a Saturday morning- I called in advance and they said to come around 10:40. It was busy and there were about three people working. I highly recommend calling in advance because if it's packed, you may be waiting up to 40 mins. I had horrible and I mean horrible cracks in my heel from pregnancy and my toes had just grown out way too long. I was overdo for some tender love and care. The manicurist started my water- I asked for hotter water because I knew she would have her work cut out for her. The water temp was perfect and she got started right away. The massage chair I was sitting on was so relaxing. I think my manicurist name is Kelly and Kelly sure took her time to make sure she give me the best pedicure. She scraped the cracked heel, she massaged my feet, cleaned them up and then applied nail polish. Kelly took her time- not rushing the process and really taking care of my burdened feet. She put some scrub on them which literally made my foot feel like a babies bottom. I cannot begin to praise Kelly enough- I literally felt like ten pounds of relief once I was done with my pedicure. It just felt amazing and really needed that. I cannot wait to go back for my next pedicure/manicure experience!! Also, the nail show is very clean and tidy. There is free street parking available in front of the salon. I believe parking is limited to two hours of free parking but you shouldn't need more time than! read more

This is a cute little nail salon. I came here for the first time recently because they had extended hours. The manicurist was kind and private, didn't talk too much. He clearly took great pride in his work. He did a very nice job with the shaping of my nails and my toes. The color selection was very nice. My pedicure looks fantastic two weeks later. My nails only lasted a few days; however, I do not think this is their fault. Cleaning out your garbage disposal will wreck havoc on any non-gel manicure. The parking was easy, right in front. The location is right downtown Skokie. They have plenty of spots available so this could be used for an event. Got my nails done on Thursday night at 5:00, it is now Sunday at 3:30...not even 3 full days later and my no-chip manicure is peeling. One other nail has a minor chip as well. After reading all the yelp reviews I was excited to go to this location. After a not so friendly greeting at the door I decided to still give it a chance. One of the young ladies was super sweet and friendly and did a great job with the no chip on my fingernails. I got no chip polish on my toes as well, and had two other people work on them. A young man prepped my toes and a different young lady painted them. The young man cut me while prepping my toe nails for polish, and that has unfortunately turned into an infection. The whole time he was working on me he was chiming in to another conversation with the other two girls and two other customers, which possibly could be the reason he cut me because I was being perfectly still. The young lady that was painting my toe nails did an okay job. She missed some polish on my toes but she painted them. One thing that made me extremely uncomfortable here was while I was soaking my feet in the water the young man and two other customers kept making racist jokes and laughing about racial stereotypes. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. Rude greeting, having them cut me and catching an infection, hearing racist jokes, and a decent nail job, lets just say I will never be returning to this location or recommending it to other people. read more

I tried here because I was fed up with my previous nail salon that kept hiking up the price for the same exact service and not listening to my requests. This nail salon is not large but it is quaint and nicely decorated. The technicians are nice. They offer dip manicures there. They have nice massage chairs and the regular pedicures include the basics and a foot scrub and hot towel over your feet and legs after they have lotioned your feet. The pedicure experience felt great we left with baby feet after feeling pampered. I also did a no chip fill in which normally would be just $25 but that was just the base cost. It was another $5 to shape my nails oval which I have never been charged to do (I have been charged more for coffin shape in the past in other nail salons but never oval) and then I was charged an extra $10 for the no chip polish. Normally when you do a fill in especially if you have already done no chip it is the same price of $25 so that was surprising to me. So it ended up being $40 for a fill in! That is the same price as doing a dip manicure there. I also usually do one main color and then another color for my ring fingers and sometimes glitter over the ring finger color, but I was told that if I wanted to do 3 colors it is $3 more. So a lot of hidden fees. I was also taken care of by 3 different people which isn't horrible but I kind of felt like I was being tossed around a bit. The street parking outside is free for 2 hours but if you expect to be there for longer than that then you have to move your car. Overall, it was a nice experience but not the best and a lot of extra costs I have never experienced. I would go go back for a pedicure but not a manicure. read more

After reading a few Yelp reviews, my cousin and I decided to check this place out. Surprisingly, they were able to take our last minute appointments on a Sunday. The salon is small but very cute. They have an extensive amount of dip powder selections to choose from. We decided to get the mood changing dip powder. They really did last for about 3 weeks, without chipping. They offer you coffee and water as well. This will now be my go to salon if I'm ever near Skokie. read more

I tried this nail salon based on the good reviews, and due to the fact that my regular nail tech was booked. I wish I would've waited to get my nails done at my original shop! I wasn't happy with the service I received. I went In for DIP, and I can honestly say this is the worst dip I've ever had. So bad that I would pay to have them soaked off and redone by my nail tech. My nails are super thick and not natural looking like they always are. The nail tech said she had to dip 3 times because of the color, however I always get my nails dipped 3 times and they never look thick. In addition to my nails looking thick, I realized that the nails on my left hand are much longer than the nails on my right hand. Truly disappointed!!! read more

Went here this week due to the awesome yelp reviews. Although it is super close to my house, I didn't even know about it! So happy I went in! Gorgeous decor, EXTREMELY CLEAN, and they really take their time and do a great job! April did my nails today, and she was very thorough and precise.
