Over the years, Chicago Pizza has been hit or miss. I'm happy to say this evening, everything was fantastic. Our server was nice, attentive, and made sure or drinks were never empty. Forgot to grab a pic of loaded tots, but they were pretty good. Not great, I wouldn't get them again when they have much better appetizer options like their Chicago Nuggets but I also wasn't upset we got them, either. The pizza was just about perfect. We got the deep dish with sausage. And while it's not traditional "Chicago style" deep dish, it tasted great and the balance of toppings, sauce and crust was executed flawlessly. I can't say every experience here is this great, but hopefully this is the norm and not the exception from now on. read more

We have been here for almost two years and didn't know there was this very comfortable booth and great waitress waiting for us. Pizza was tasty like in the northeast . Thank you. Went here for a couple drinks and a pizza. Got our bill and realized they changed us for ice (rocks) just ordered a absolut water and absolut cranberry didn't as for or a longer pour! Was given the bill and thought they made a mistake so brought it to the bartender attention and she said no that's how it's charged! I said so you are charging me for ice? She said she didn't have control of it and that is how it is. Asked to talk to management and she said new system that's how they do it. This just might be the best pizza that I have ever had in my life. Our server Serena was very pleasant and recommended the deep dish. Great choice! Would be a 5 star, but there were a couple of tables that needed to be cleaned off, despite the restaurant side being nearly empty. Ambience is Chicago sports all the way with many framed photos of the city with sports memorabilia. Could also use little better beer variety, particularly with their IPA's. Lagunitas is the only IPA, and while not horrible, something like Jai Alai or a good local offering would be nice. I'm excited to go back to try the other menu items, but this deep dish is definitely a 5 star pie. read more

Used to be a great place, but bartenders are different. The new guy at the bar is super arrogant. Talked bad about the tips, pretty laud and act to friendly with customers. He talked about personals choices, open and lauded, no helping the business. The restaurant used to have some drinks at the special and they took it off. I used to get a vodka 2 for 1. The worst customer service I've experienced EVER. we've eaten here many many times and it's gone down hill unfortunately. The manager Ashley has absolutely no customer service skills and is supposedly the daughter of the owner Bob, who I guess is never there and won't speak to customers. I had a hankering for something different and a coupon...Here is my two cents on the taste, quality , quantity & price of my order! So I thought I give Chicago Pizza a try again....So I used the coupon, $16 bucks for 2 ingredient on a thin crust . Pepperoni& mushrooms ... (see photo)..The only thing that saved this thin crust pie was the spicy pepperonis... The pie was NOT sliced into regular or normal pizza configuration of a pizza. But sliced into small squares....The worst of it was the actual crust...It was THIN...Thin from PITA bread or a very bad hard taco shell.. Most obviously , without exception, FAILS the day after of the cold pizza for breakfast test. I also tried a very strange menu item 3 cornmeal tamales,$7.00 with a very hot & spicy taste in a unique flavor that NOT Mexican.. (see photographs)... Then I thought I would be safe and get a cold Italian sub sandwich..NONONo..I paid my $9 American cash for a true thick bun not fully bake at only 8.5 inches long...again with spicy pepperoni ham, .. There were two actually things that I did like one with the polish sausage with onions fried on a roll. That was pretty tasty though it slipped out of the bun when I was trying to eat it. And the other thing was their salad..The salad was pretty good but they only gave you two slices of cucumbers and two slices of tomato and a sprinkling of croutons. I had their Italian dressing which was pretty good and it was on the creamy side.. Overall it was kind of pretty pricey and I do believe it they charge me an extra three dollar fee for the delivery. The drink menu says that rail happy hour are two for one. Not only was my rail drink not two for one, but they were $10 each. I would have expected at most an up charge, but didn't get any discount. Had a thin crust Hawaiian and it was good I preder white Hawaiian but it was still good. We had a variety of pasta dishes as well all good. Delivery was very attentive and on time. No complaints. I ordered a pizza for delivery. Not knowing that Chicago Pizza now has door dash doing their deliveries. Driver was Spanish/The boss was Spanish and delivered to the wrong house. As soon as I received "your pizza has been delivered" I wrote NO it has not!! Called Chicago pizza talked to Ashland. She was unable to help. The manager was not in. I CANCELED the order and requested a refund. Advised me I would have to call in the morning. I called next morning and talked to the manager on duty, Kennedy. She said she'd process the refund. To date as of today April 29, 2025 purchase date and refund request on April 18, 2025 CHARGE HAS NOT BEEN BACKED OFF!! I think 10 days is sufficient to have $44.89 charge to be refunded to a card. I like this place. Atmosphere is cool - Chicago brick around with a big bar and separate dining room. Menu is mostly Chicago specialties like deep dish or super thin crust pizza, Chicago beef, Chicago dogs, sausages and tamales (which I still have no idea what they are). They have a great happy hour and excellent service at the tables in the bar area (where I've been twice). We've had their deep dish pizza (very very cheesy and delicious), Chicago beef sandwich (get it with the gardenera and dipped) hot Italian sandwich, Chicago dogs (my new favorite hot dog), and Chicago polish sausage (just ok). This will be part of my regular rotation here in the cape. read more

We really like pizza in out fam, but this place fell short for us. Nothing like real Chicago pizza at all. The flavor was just not good; the cheese tasted almost synthetic or "fake", sort of what you get with the frozen pizzas you buy at the grocery store. Not good at all. We were a party of five, ordered 2 pizzas and as you can see in the pictures, we left half of each. After, everyone felt a little sick. Overall, very surprised this was voted best of anything. Got home with my pie. Extremely disappointed as I only get to order this when my wife isn't home. Pizza maker folded over one edge of my pizza when he was turning it or moved it. So of course the edge that was turned over was black charred an inedible. When I called I at least expected to get something back like maybe 1/2 of the next one or something reasonable. Not the case. I thought we finally found our pizza place on Cape Coral. We have been picking up or get delivered pizza. Today the change the rules on me and don't allow me to add two ingredients to the pizza instead they want to do build you self a pizza and charge me for every single ingredients, this way the pizza will be $35 instead being $28 with two add ingredients. Reading these reviews makes me think people either 1. don't like pizza or 2. are insane. We had the thin crust Chicago pizza and it was excellent. Good thin, crispy crush, hearty toppings, flavorful sauce - and cut in squares! Delicious and had to stop eating. The deep dish looks pretty good, though it is definitely not a pizza for everyone, and even Chicagoans may have a complaint or 2 (from the looks of the photos, the crust isn't quite right). It is certainly no Lou Malnati's but might scratch that itch. We ordered the cinnamon dessert puffs and they were so tasty. I would love to try the savory appetizer version sometime. It sounds like maybe they may have some issues with consistency and service. I think if you don't expect great service (it's a pizza place, after all) and keep your orders basic (no half/half pizzas!) you won't be disappointed! read more
