It was their buffet time and ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala pizza for the buffet price of $10. They said I could order another kind too, but they made a large pizza and I was the only one there. Chicago's Pizza With A Twist has been renamed according to the website to Pizza Twist. I guess the reference to Chicago was a bit misleading when the pizza chain is actually known for INDIAN style pizza.! I always thought the name was a little off and had no idea it was an Indian pizza place. Indian pizza, like Tandorri or Masala pizza has been around for awhile in the bigger cities, like in the Bay Area. It actually does work having those flavors on a pizza. Chicago's Pizza With A Twist or Pizza Twist, has quite a few locations, mostly franchises, so each is a little different. They do offer all the regular American pizzas as well like the Hawaiian! They do have deep dish, called pan crust, though it's not really like ordering a real deep dish from Chicago or Patxi's or Zachary's in the Bay Area. One thing good, is you can order a half baked pizza so you can finish it off on your oven at home for piping hot pizza, not cooled off or half cold pizza by the time you get it home. I got a sausage and mushroom and some other stuff, so it would be like a Chicago deep dish. I got it back to my friend's house here in Folsom and we reheated it at dinner time. I think we might of heated a little too long, but it was still fine, just a little dark, hey, but crispy! The taste was good, I told them lots of sausage (just like Chicago), and they did put a generous helping of sausage. The crust wasn't exactly like Chicago, or the flaky buttery crust of a Patxi's or Zachary's, but was perfectly edible. Next time I might get the pizza cooked fully at the restaurant and eat it there. I LOVE this place! You can satisfy all your pizza, wings, and Indian cravings in one stop. I always opt for the Indian fusion pizza, and have tried the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, Tikka chicken, achari, garlic chicken.. my favorite is the butter chicken, and you can request them to make it extra spicy! My guys always orders off the regular style of pizza menu and has enjoyed the all meat, Hawaiian, 3 idiots.. They are always consistent with high quality toppings and the crust is nice and crunchy (cornmeal in there I think) Besides the pizzas we always order the wings, we've tried all the flavors, and the chicken Caesar salad. They also offer several other items such as samosa and naan bread sticks that we haven't tried, but based on the experience here I bet they are delicious! The one star rating is for my overall experience at this location and not the quality of the food. I'd also like to note that the two young women behind the counter were polite and patient. My wife, toddler, and I were there for lunch today. When we walked in, I noticed that the restaurant was under some renovation during business hours. A couple of guys were stripping the floor using Zep Floor Stripper. This should have been my sign to leave the establishment. However, with poor judgement we decided to place an order. Soon after, the wife and I started to really feel the effects of the floor stripper. I asked my wife to go wait in the car with our toddler since I didn't wan't them smelling the floor stripper for longer than they have to. It took about 35 minutes for my order to be ready. All this while, I waited for the order inside the restaurant. Again, this was a poor decision on my end. I left the restaurant with an irritated throat and the smell of the floor stripper still in my air passages. It is very irresponsible of the owner to allow such an activity to take place during business hours. The floor stripping should have taken place outside of business hours or the business should have closed down temporarily to allow the work. Having employees and customers breathe in Zep floor stripper for hours on end is a health hazard. I'm sure some health codes were being broken today. It is clearly stated in the Zep Floor Stripper safety data sheet that proper ventilation should be in place, the fumes should not be inhaled, and proper respiratory protection should be used. None of these were present or being practiced. read more

This time her vegan pepperoni had tons of bbq sauce instead of regular pizza sauce. The website is terrible there is no way to see prior transactions and no way to delete credit cards stored, and no way to even delete the account or even contact anyone. Yes, I couldn't help but to dig right in to the butter chicken pizza as soon as I opened up the box and the aromatic spices hit me! Seriously y'all, flavor town! This is a wonderfully prepared Indian styled pizza. The crust is in the Chicago pan style but not nearly as deep as a traditional Chi town deep dish. Don't hold that against these guys. The balance of sauce, cheese and toppings is perfect! Super fresh, not soggy; man, I'm really impressed. My Taiwanese parents live in south sac and came to Folsom to pick up the pizza and wings before dropping stuff off my house in a Folsom. We stumbled on this place while looking for Gluten Free food. Our Butter Chicken pizza was so good (worth 5 stars), that we've returned with our friends. The pizza is SO flavorful, and they make it as spicey as you want. We also ordered Tika Masala Chicken Wings. The flavor was excellent, but the texture of a few was a bit rubbery, thus, 4 stars overall. But, definitely worth returning for more pizza! read more
