Besides the lackluster service and environment, the food was alright. I ordered a Creamy Cajun Chicken, and hubs ordered a Create Your Own bowl with penne, marinana, alfredo, chicken and shrimp. The prices are reasonable for the portion of food you receive, and every order comes with a complimentary slice of garlic bread. The pieces of chicken are cut inconsistently so some pieces I had were a bit chewy and non-marinated, but the cajun sauce alone was good. I passed on the store bought garlic bread. Hubs needed to add salt to his bowl and he experienced the same inconsistency in his chicken, but we agreed the flavors of their sauces were pretty good. If I go back, I'll try something different. Imad is a Folsom resident from Tunisia and came up with a take out pasta concept for us all to enjoy a healthy meal on the go. The restaurant has about 5 tables inside that seat 2-3 people and a couple tables outside of the same if you'd like to eat there. The menu consists of their own pasta creations or you can mix and match pastas, sauces, and proteins to make your own. Imad recommend that I try the Cajun Creamy Chicken so I went for it. He told me it was spicy but I said I can handle it. It was spicier than I expected but oh so good. The noodles were cooked well and the sauce was rich and flavorful. I think the star of the show was the freshly grilled chicken! There was an AMPLE portion of chicken amidst lots of sauce and pasta. You really get your money's worth so don't let the $11.99 scare you away. I'll definitely return to try another few items not to mention the tiramisu. Love the concept of this Pasta place! Fast and straighforward menu with quality pasta and a taste that delivers! We got the Chicken alfredo and tiramisu. Both were really good! The only thing I can suggest for the owners is maybe a bell on their counter or ringing sensor by the door to let them know they have customers that came in. Few people left because it took ahwile for them to be helped. They have a cute and cozy dine in area but it would be a nice touch to add some music as well. When my boyfriend and I first came here and picked up our food to go it was Amaaazing and delicious! We've gotten it a few more times after that and have noticed it hasn't been consistent. The customer service can be a little better, the lady can be a little rude sometimes when placing an order and picking up. The last time I called and put in my order I got three pastas and had asked if she cajun pasta is spicy and I'm not sure if she misheard me and thought I said "I want it more spicy" but when I picked up my order and ate it my mouth was on fire. It was way too spicy and didn't make it at all enjoyable which I was looking forward too and the bread was not toasty at all it was soggy. My daughter and I also ended up with an upset stomach. First timer. I'll start by saying the most positive: My husband ordered the Beef Stroganoff and he loved his. Perfect portion and delicious. He's a fan. For myself, I asked for the mushroom pesto pasta & to add chicken to it. She said it would be mixed in, not on the side and it would be extra $2.99. I said, ok, yes please. She said ok. I watched the register when she was adding things in and noticed that the cost of my pasta did not match the menu board. I asked why my pasta was higher than what was stated on the menu, and she pointed to the sticky note that said there was a 3.5 credit card fee (which, I was planning to use card but she didn't know that-maybe they offer a cash discount?). Ok with me, I get it. But...just a heads up on that. She then typed in my chicken side & my husband's food. I asked if they just had small cups of water since they only offer canned sodas & water bottles for 1.99. The answer was no. So I said, ok, no problem, we will take it to go. Waited for about 20 minutes, got our order & confirmed it had two pasta containers & 2 slices of garlic bread, then drove home-a 13 minute drive. We were so ready to eat. Poured mine into a larger bowl and damn it...Not even a single little sliver of chicken. Totally bummed about that, but wasn't about to drive the 13 minutes back for my 2.99 side of chicken. The pasta was otherwise delicious. Great flavor! I just really needed some protein. So, I paid 2.99 for some chicken I didn't get. Ugh. I didn't get a receipt, so I checked my credit card & it shows 29.02-which is what it should have been with my chicken! Mine: 10.99+2.99 (chicken) Husbands: 11.99 =25.97x-.1.08 tax=28.04x1.035 cc $29.02 I'm sure we'll go back. It was good. But I will ask before I walk away if they're sure they got my chicken mixed in. My one concern is customer service. Came in and noticed that both employees just stared at me with no affect at all. I let them know I was picking up and they appeared uninterested. Finally one grabbed the food placed it on the counter and asked why the person who ordered the food wasn't there to pick it up. I informed them that they asked me to pick it up and were actually outside in the car. The employee continued to just stare at me with no emotion.
