Sadly on a hot summer day this place was having AC issues. It was very warm in the cafe. The cafe is nicely decorated. There are lots of teas there available for you to smell the tea leaves. They have a drink for you to sample. Tea packets available for purchase. The dong ding oolong tea latte is a popular drink, but I thought it was in the milkier side. My favorite was the high mountain pouchong tea. They made it very refreshing. Service was okay.
High quality tea near other asian hot spots! I really like their fruit teas and come back for more every time. Personally, I didn't love the dong ding oolong tea latte, mainly because it was too milky&watery. Unfortunately, it's not a place to sit and chill. I wanted to leave the premises ASAP because the AC runs warm & it's 110 degrees outside.
I first gave this place a try when there was a huge hype and line for it. Originally wasn't impressed. Came back recently and I have to say their tea based milk teas are pretty good. I get them with cream vs milk and it makes it so much more creamier. The taro balls reminds of the rice balls that's in a Filipino dessert, which goes well with the drinks.
I was excited to see Chicha San Chen open up a location in Vegas. It's is a nice little boba shop that lives up to the name. Located in the V City Plaza shopping center, the parking lot is on the smaller side, but I've usually been able to find a spot even if it's a bit tight. The drinks are on the pricey side, but the quality justifies it. They are known for high quality Taiwanese tea and each drink is brewed to order. I recommend anything from the taro series, I usually order the bubble milk tea with taro or the milk tea with taro ball and paste. At this location it seemed like some of the employees were in training - on my first visit, my drink was made incorrectly. As soon as I informed them, they promptly remade it without any hesitation and the corrected drink tasted great. The best part is the drinks are never too sweet, so many boba shops are too sweet for my preference but here it's perfect. The taste is consistent with I've experienced in other cities. That's always a good sign when a chain can deliver the same quality across many locations. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're looking for a well-made boba drink and don't mind paying a little extra for premium quality.
Located in a quieter area on Spring Mountain, this boba place is a great spot for yummy drinks, pleasant service, and cute ambiance. The tea is fresh, there are a lot of options to choose from, and the boba is also the perfect texture. The tea comes from Taiwan and it is so refreshing and legit. They also have seasonal varieties too. The inside is cute and very easy and pleasant on the eyes. The white decor paired with the wood barstools make this place look so clean. I can't wait to come back and try more.
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. As soon as you walk in, you can smell freshly brewed tea from Taiwan. Had the pleasure of ordering Dong Ding Oolong Tea Latte and Bubble Milk Tea which is made from Black Tea. Both had the perfect amount of sweetness for me which is great because I feel that many of the bubble teas nowadays are filled with so much sugar. Honestly you can taste the difference with these drinks as far as quality tea goes. These flavors are crisp and clean topped off with Fresh Milk. Service was quick and friendly; the young gentleman that was behind the register was extremely knowledgeable and offered some peach tea samples which was one of their special two for one promos. Will definitely be back to try other flavors!
We came on 4th of July. It was busssssyyyy, way too crowded. The drinks were like $7-9 each. Honest opinion... not for me lol. Do not get that taro paste one LOL 2/10. The green tea latte 4/10. The bubble milk tea 7/10. Would only go if someone asked me to go & I'll just stick with the bubble milk tea. But I would never choose to go, wait that long for boba that's aiite.
Really wanted to resist a sweet treat this trip, but I couldn't so I stopped by Chicha San Chen. The green milk tea with boba was solid. I wish they had bigger sizes though because there was too much boba for the amount of tea they gave. I do think this place is a little bit overhyped, but it was still great nonetheless. Interior was really clean and had seating! Servers were also really sweet. I loved the cute drink cup holders :)
Always a fav when I visit vegas, as if I don't get this enough at home in socal Never anything bad to say! Their drinks have never failed me and I don't have issues here with long lines as I do in california. My favorite is always the white grape series, specifically with the high mountain tea. I also love the orange high mountain! We got the new orange lemon pouchong today thinking it'd be similar but not too sure how I feel about it. I think it's good, has a yogurty flavor, but they informed us that you aren't allowed to make modifications so as is, it's a little too sweet for me. But I imagine any citrus lover with a sweet tooth would love it!
f you're looking for high-quality tea, Chicha San Chen is the place to go. You can really taste the difference in the tea quality, and every drink is made with care. The flavors are smooth, fresh, and well balanced without being overly sweet. My only complaint is that I wish they offered larger sizes because the drinks disappear way too quickly. Still, it's one of the best spots for tea in Las Vegas and I'll definitely be back.
The store smells amazing. It is always crowded with people standing outside. It's good that they make the teas fresh for every single order. However it is also why it takes much longer to get your order. My favorites are bubble milk tea and grape osmanthus tea. They are very refreshing and have the great tea aroma aftertaste. It took 52 minutes to get my drinks. It's totally worth it :)
I've been a fan of San Chen for years, ever since their first location in San Gabriel! So I've been happy that we can now enjoy it in Las Vegas too. What keeps me coming back is how fresh everything tastes. You can tell the tea is brewed on the spot, not something that's been sitting around or made from powder. The flavor is clean, rich, and actually tastes like real tea! The staff here also very friendly. They're consistently polite and attentive. It creates a relaxed, comfortable environment that makes it easy to stay and hang out. Now they even give points which after ten cups, you will get one free drink. Since now the inflation is high, it definitely helps make it a good value.
Chicha San Chen is always so so good. I love their tea. It's so cool they have teaspresso and each drink is brewed to order. The service is excellent, they usually have samples of the day at the cashier too. I love their conjac jelly too! They also have seasonal flavor every season and they're so fun. They use real fruits so it's not syrupy at all. One of my favorite cafes in Vegas!

We stopped by late in the evening (right before closing), and while the staff was friendly and welcoming, the drinks were honestly disappointing. They use this specialized tea brewing machine that's supposed to extract precise flavors but we literally saw the machine struggling during our order, almost "choking" on the brew. As someone who's used espresso machines at home, I could already tell the extraction had failed, and sure enough, the final drinks tasted exactly like that: bland, and completely lacking any tea flavor. Maybe it was the end of the day, or maybe the machine needs better maintenance, but serving those drinks as is felt careless. read more
I tried their tea in California and I fell in love. This location is a lot smaller than the one in California. The cashier was very patient since we had a big party of people who weren't sure what to order. Although it's smaller, the ambiance is still great and as was the service. read more

ChiCha is my beloved, holy grail tea bar, so I nearly collapsed from exhilaration (and overdoing it on the happy dancing) when a location opened up right here in Vegas! I even did the tea tasting the first time I went, which was reminiscent of a casual wine tasting. Shout out to Princess for being so patient and illuminating about the various teas, their origins, and production processes. Only downside is you are limited to sampling two tea varieties and they don't offer their Cassia tea for sale or she would have made a decent commission from me lol. If you haven't tried their tea, this is not like your garden variety boba shop next to your local dry cleaners that uses powders and mixes to get the job done. These are bougie teas straight outta Taiwan. Even their tea brewing equipment is patented. The Fruit Tea (so refreshing), Bubble Volcano (so simple, so perfect), Dong Ding (so roasty), Lemon Tart (so bright), and Cassia Black Tea (so chocolatey, my personal fave) - all amazing. I'm really digging the Taro Balls as a boba alternative! Worth every penny, even at $8 for a PUNY cup! At least it's cheaper than a trip to Taiwan. read more

Finally got a chance to try out Chi Cha San Chen and it was fantastic! It's tucked inside a strip mall in Chinatown so parking is hard to come by. The place was packed when we went in so we knew it was going to be good! They don't have a huge menu, but the tea can be adjusted to many variations. We ended up getting the orange high mountain puochong tea after they offered us a free sample. It was very tasty not overly sweet that we could taste the unique puochong tea flavor. They also offered a free tea tasing area, but the only downside was having to get a number and wait for our turn. It was worth the wait as the tea tasting session was both informative and fun. The staff at both the cashier and tea tasting were very nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed our tea here and it's definitely one of the top go to places for boba in Vegas. read more

Hands down, this is the best boba place I've ever been to. I've been craving it every single day since we left Vegas. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but once we placed our order, it only took about 10 minutes for the drinks to be ready. The tea is brewed fresh to order using high mountain tea leaves sourced from Taiwan grown over 2,000 meters above sea level. We ordered three high mountain teas: passionfruit, mango, and orange and every single one was absolutely delicious. There's only one size available, and honestly, if I had known how good it was, I would've ordered a second one to-go without hesitation. read more

That shit is sooooo good dude. I had my first sip and it took everything in me to not be a big-back and order 3 more for myself Jada? I think. Not sure, but she was super cool at the register. Really helpful and offered a sample of a tea I'm definitely coming back to buy. It's beautiful inside. Tea quality is definitely central to their brand and it shows. It's calming and refreshing inside. I would attach a picture but I was sooo distracted after the first sip, but here's menu pics. Btw I got the bubble volcano and it was actually the best, and I've had the classic brown sugar milk tea everywhere. We had a wonderful time trying Chicha San Chen tea this afternoon. The interior is beautifully decorated with limited, yet comfortable seating, fancy equipment, lovely lighting, and a beautiful mural made from dried tea leaves. Despite how pretty the inside was, I will note the floor was quite dirty and a tad sticky in some spots. Service was incredibly polite and friendly. The cashier was patient as we perused the menu and took the time to explain the different tea options. I opted for a drink from the seasonal series; Green Tea with Lemon and Coconut Jelly. I had full ice and "perfect sugar". This was incredibly delicious and refreshing for a hot August day. My husband opted for the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Passion Fruit; full ice and 1/2 sugar. He was very satisfied with his drink and from the few sips I stole, I also greatly enjoyed his drink. The highlight of our time here was getting to participate in the free tea tasting. Our tea guide, Princess, was very kind and knowledgeable. There are 5 teas to choose from and she helped us decide by sharing the tasting notes of each one. I opted for the lightest, but most caffeinated tea; "Dawn", which had subtle earthy notes. My husband tried the "Dusk" tea which was dark in color, but lightly caffeinated with a strong nutty flavor. The tasting took approximately 10 minutes. Princess taught us a lot about the tea making process, from the farm their tea is grown on in Taiwan, to how it's hand picked, and how to properly make the perfect cup to enjoy. Despite parking being stressful for this small shopping center, that won't stop us from coming back soon! Truly a wonderful experience with expertly crafted tea. read more
I loved this specialty tea house! Im not a tea connoisseur nor go out of my way for strong tea-based drinks, however this was a unique experience and tasty. The ordered drinks were delicious, especially the Osmanthus Oolong Tea with milk and grass jelly. We tried the free tea tasting, which let my friend and I try 2 different oolong teas and learn about the history. The worker leading the tasting was so sweet! The inside was also clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the workers were kind. $8.50 is steep, but it's genuinely good tea. read more
Simple at its best. Sleek, modern, and airy--with a free tea tasting bar, cozy seating areas, and a lovely display of tea gifts from Taiwan. Easily the best Taiwanese tea house in Vegas! I had the HMP with passion fruit and it was delicious--no sugar added, yet perfectly sweet on its own. Super refreshing and fruity. The shopping center is small and parking can be tough, so try to visit during off-peak hours. Otherwise, you might end up waiting outside in the Vegas heat just to get in. read more

Popped by Chicha San Chen for a quick boba fix on a hot summer day. I came by Saturday around 4:30 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. There was maybe 1-2 people in front of me in line, so I was able to order pretty quickly. I got the ding dong oolong tea latte with less ice and perfect sugar for $6.70. Got my drink in minutes. They're quick here! I've had the ding dong oolong tea before at other locations, so I knew what to expect and it tasted like what I remember. Creamy with a strong tea flavor, and even at perfect sugar, their drinks aren't that sweet! read more

Stopped by Chicha San Chen after dinner and had a great experience. The interior is super cute and thoughtfully designed, making it a nice spot to hang out and enjoy a drink. Service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the taro fresh milk, and it was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet. We didn't have to wait when we visited, but I can see this place getting busy during peak hours. Overall, a great place for quality tea and a pleasant vibe. Would definitely come back! read more

It was good! you can really taste how fresh and well-made everything is. The flavors are balanced, not overly sweet, and the boba has the perfect chewy texture. Be prepared for a longer wait. If you're serious about tea, Chicha San Chen is on another level. This boba spot from Taiwan is known for using a patented "Lion Teapresso" machine to brew each cup of tea fresh to order--and you can truly taste the difference if you let your drink steep. There's a timer next to your order as they prepare your tea/drink. I love that the focus here is on the quality of the tea itself, not just sugar and toppings. I love how there's only 1 size option and that sweetness level is minimal to normal (nothing more). The shop has a clean, modern vibe, and ordering feels intentional--almost like a tea bar experience rather than fast boba. It may take a little longer since everything is brewed fresh, but it's 100% worth the wait. If you appreciate authentic Taiwanese tea and want a more elevated boba experience, Chicha San Chen is a must-try. read more

First time trying this place out and I mist say this is a real authentic tea cafe. They make their tea on order so it is freshly brewed each time. They have brought in a specially tea brewing machine that will brew your tea in seconds. Not only is your tea freshly made, while you wait, you can sit in their table area where it's clean and comfortable. Ambiance is very classy and relaxing. Very friendly staff as well as they helped us choose our drinks to our liking. The tea barista was nice enough to let us taste some of their topping we've never tried before. This boba shop has a constant line. We came in on a Saturday at 2pm and waited 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes for our drink. We got the creamy mango tart made with high mountain tea, mango juice and mousse. Unfortunately we could not adjust the sweetness level nor add any toppings to this drink. So it was a bit too sweet for our liking but the drink was good. I inquired about the free tea tasting but unfortunately the person that does it wasn't in and was told maybe after 5pm. This place serves authentic fresh brewed tea from Taiwan. This place has been brewing tea for more than 20years. The service is amazing right when I enter the greeted me and ask if I would like to try their tea of the day. I also was able to smell the difference in their teas because I was contemplating on which one to get since everything looks good. The teas smell fresh and good. the ambiance/place gives really zen/peaceful vibes matches well with the teas that they offer. I also love their taro series it's good. But the tea is what I'm obsessed about soo many to choose from I'm definitely going to comeback here and would love to try more of their teas. read more

Comparing Chicha San Chen locations are verg necessary for us so having tried Cupertino and San Gabriel. We got to try the Las Vegas one. Thankfully the line for this one was very short. It was a reasonable wait of 20 mins and I got a osmanthus jasmine tea with mango. The quality of the tea and taste is very consistent here so it is a 10/10 here for us. read more
My first time coming here after my friends all raving about it. The place smells like freshly brewed tea so you can tell it is quality. We did the free tea tasting which is a cool experience, but their AC wasn't working so it wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been. I ordered their oolong milk tea with taro balls- their taro balls are amazingggg, but unfortunately I felt that the milk tea tasted more like milk than tea to me. Might have just been my drink but it definitely tasted just like milk. I would come back to try a different drink for sure! read more

The best boba and tea I've ever had hands down. Quality is as good as you can get it. I got the cassia black tea with boba. There is a richness to the mixture. The sweetness is not overbearing too. The ingredients they use are imported and everything is made right in front of you. They even had a tea tasting showcasing the different types of brewing they do. It went from midnight to morning with the levels increasing in caffeine and boldness. The workers were also kind and well informed about their subject. It's a classier and more reformed approach to boba and tea. Definitely worth the experience. Lighting inside is also brightly lit and we came in during a rainstorm too but that didn't stop us Thank you again to the great staff read more
