Not a ton of beans and potatoes and we wished there was more in it but really delicious flavor! -Mofongo Solo: Was good but a tad less flavor than other mofongos I have had maybe. It was delicious when we put the stew on it. -Mushroom empanada Everything was delicious and the staff was great! Very thankful for how vegan and vegetarian friendly they are too. I believe they have vegan mayo available for dishes with mayo. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. For our "platos principals" (main entrees) I had the pechuga de pollo (chicken breast with grilled onions) with mofongo as my side (also comes with a side salad). It was very tasty and not dry at all. BFF had the pernil (pulled pork) with arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas) as his side which also came with a side salad. For dessert we shared the tembleque which is a coconut pudding but not in the traditional sense of pudding (more like a jelly texture). BFF also ordered coquito (holiday rum drink) & apparently our server (Sophia) omitted the rum so the owner came by and offered a fresh glass. Speaking of, everything was wonderful except that Sophia seemed to have a bit of a poor attitude as she wasn't too friendly. I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt as perhaps she wasn't feeling well but out of the corner of my eye she had this almost "eyeroll" look. They were both made with fresh ingredients, well seasoned and a nice and flaky crust. The meat is very juicy and not dry which is sometimes an issue when frying.
