The goat curry here was so good I ate around the bones. One of our group had ordered an app of the saltfish and conch fritters to share and they were gone in minutes. The place wasn't super busy in person for a Wednesday night but they had a steady string of pick up orders. It's a large space that I would say is great for larger group gatherings (our table was like 12 people). It's also close enough to old town Scottsdale you can head to a bar nearby after a hearty dinner!

Deliciousness! Meant to leave a review the first time I visited in person but great to know that food quality doesn't change with delivery. Ordered the Jerk Chicken Plate that came with rice and peas and cabbage. Absolutely delicious but be warned that is some real jerk, it's got a kick to it for sure!! Plantains were yummy as was the festival. Side of sautéed mushrooms for a little razzle dazzle. Definitely visit this place in person too, they have great cocktails!!

The food was beyond good! Had the Chicken Piccata and immediately knew I had made a great choice!! Service was good, very kind and quick! Highly recommend!

I returned a couple of days later - the curry goat! Delicious!! And friendly service again! I wish I lived in the Phoenix area! No picture of the food ( took it out and I was not careful how I carried it- half the food spilled into the bag, lol ", but even all mixed up it was still delicious).

Immaculate vibes. The restaurant is clean and well-decorated with plenty of seating. The dancehall mix playing while my friends and I were there had hit after hit. The entrees were delicious and filling, well-seasoned, and tender. If you're expecting a constant, hovering service, don't come here. Our waitress got us exactly what we wanted and let us enjoy our social outing. I am so happy that my first Jamaican food experience was one to remember.

I went in mid afternoon. No one greeted us and there were barely any lights on. The place was set up with white table cloths and place settings but was completely empty other than me and a couple of door dashers. I noticed it was only two people working there, I'm guessing the couple that owned it. It was slow so I understand keeping overhead low. The lady was nice enough but nothing stood out about the service. I ordered jerk chicken w/ cabbage, rice & peas and a Ting to drink. The food was HORRIBLE. I sat down to eat it there but after two bites I carried it out. I drove straight to another place. I threw out the piece I bit from and found a homeless man at the bus stop a ways down and gave it to him just not to waste. The chicken was not grilled, the jerk sauce tasted like BBQ sauce and had a vinegary flavor and rubbery consistency. SKIP THIS PLACE!!!

This place is fantastic. The curried goat is as good as I've ever had paired with a red stripe is absolute perfection. I'm sad that I'm here at 6:30 on a Wednesday night and I'm the only customer in the restaurant. Y'all get out here and support this place. The food is fantastic, it's a nice restaurant, and the people are nice.

This place has been around for years and is the closest to authentic Jamaican food my husband (who's Jamaican) has found. The food is always on point, flavorful, and feels like home. The service is a little slow due to being made to order, and while the inside is nice and calm, the staff can be a little rude -- but that's just the Caribbean way! We always get our food to go, but it's definitely worth the visit for the great food!

Great little spot, smelled good when I walked through the door...plenty of parking, great location...close to Old Town Scottsdale, lots of tables, good R & B music, very clean, first class customer service with a smile & kindness, thank you Sheena for taking great care of us & recommending good dishes from your menu. Food was good, authentic, just enough spice & flavor. It's a must try experience.I will definitely go back to try a few more dishes. Enjoy!!!

Came here just to try the oxtail pasta. The pasta and the pasta sauce was delicious! (The oxtails in it were a bit tough, I would have liked them to be more tender). I had a rum punch that was delicious and also a caribe colada that was even better! We also had the curry goat with rice and peas and plantains. The plantains were good, but the goat was tough and not that tender. The rice and pease were a bit dry as well. Best part was the drinks and the pasta

If you see "The Energy Never Dies" writing nearby the door, you are in the correct place. It is best to make an advance reservation to get a table. Even when you get seated, the table has a notice saying there is a two hour dinner time limit. Our service and food were both excellent and lived up to the hype! Started with the Curious by Nature cocktail, which was a creative combination of flavors, but a bit expensive for the drink size. For food I tried the hamachi crudo, Tommy's biscuits, crab stuffed pasta, red snapper, and the charred broccoli. I don't know what type of sauce came with the broccoli, but it was amazing. I also loved the Anthony Bourdain themed photos and decor! This place is great for a date night or to catch up with friends. The only downside is they did not offer anything for a birthday or special occasion, but I definitely plan to go back for the food.

I decided to sit at the bar instead as there was no time limit. The bartender was not very good as providing recommendations of stating what did and did not go together. Come to find out the nigiri pairs well with the yolk rice cake, but we didn't know that so we ordered them separately and didn't get the full experience. The meatball was just odd as it was mixed with bison meat but the tomato sauce was very acidly and the cheese was a weird consistency. Not sure if that was what they were going for but it wasn't my thing or my friend's either so we just finished it as we paid for it. Happy hour cocktail menu is very limited as I'm not much of a brown liquor girl or martini person and that was all that was available outside of wine. I do understand the restaurant does not have seed oils however the pasta we got was very salty and peppery at the same time. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the ambience is very cool!

Overall I would give this place a 3/5 stars. Huevos rancheros- disappointed it wasn't the traditional salsa bandera (onion, tomato, Jalepeno) but it was good. Different twist with the rib with eggs. The chips were soggy when I got my food. I liked the red onions, it added a little kick to the food on top of what the food offers to begin with. 6/10 Eggs over medium- not too runny how I like it. Velvety, the eggs weren't burnt crispy and was delightful. Meat was umami, savory and tender. Different than what I expected, had a little kick of spice. Beans were dry and bland. Not very impressed. 3/10 Pancakes were okay. A little dry for my taste but they were fluffy. The syrup with it was tasty. 5/10. I enjoyed this restaurant but I think it was a bit pricey for everything we ordered.
