That all happened today plus we wanted to introduce our friends to the restaurant. Olivia, our server, was the best. She had a fantastic personality and really made us feel so welcomed and at home. Brenda, you have a star here! We started off with an order of Fried Onion Rings. They were fried to perfection - were huge and were very tasty. Our friends ordered a Grilled Turkey Reuben on Rye Bread loaded with sliced turkey, sauerkraut, 1000 Island dressing, and melted Swiss cheese and a Mamie's Open Faced Hot Sandwich with a huge amount of fresh-baked Turkey Breast topped with gravy and another huge amount of mashed potatoes (check out the pictures). I enjoyed my favorite sandwich, which is Mamie's Favorite Triple Decker Shrimp Salad and Crab Cake Club with chips. My husband was taken aback with the size of his Country Fried Steak and mashed potatoes. Everyone had something to take home with them. The portions are more than generous. The one thing that Mamie's always does that makes them stand out from all the other restaurants is that they give you a free dessert. We were all so full, we took our to go. We took 2 rice puddings and 2 cinnamon cakes home to enjoy later. We had a great time a Mamie's!

Awesome photos, hilarious knick-knacks and items, and history is on full display. Loved their fun theme. Our meal was very good, and our server Tyler did a good job on an extremely busy night. My Meat Loaf meal was delicious, and the baked potato plus carrots were yummy. My dining partner loved her Stuffed Shrimp, potato salad, and beets.

She'd stopped by to see if our daughter (9) needed a refill. Her personality, hospitality, and attention was incredible. So to find somewhere that makes us feel "right at home," is a blessing. My husband and daughter agreed, we had to come back. Just got home from their PROSTfest. I WAS having a great time. Bought Lederhosen, got all into it, paid my cover, bought $80 in tickets, bought a big beer stein. Spent lots of money and was having a great time. One of my friends had too much to drink and was getting sick in the bathroom. He was forced to leave and told me that some off duty policeman saw him getting sick in the bathroom and kicked him out. I stayed (it is a family event and I understand their actions). But for some reason this off duty cop had it in for my table afterwards. I am a retired Federal Agent myself. This guy, wearing a German hat, came up to my table and told me to leave. I asked him what Police agency he was with (after showing him my badge) and he proudly exclaimed "I'm with the owner!" He signaled for the husband and wife ownership to team to come over. I did NOTHING wrong. They totally sided with him because he's their friend. He got me kicked out for no reason. I pleaded my case with the owners but this "cop guy" was their friend and they sided with him. Now this owner lady had seemed like a really sweet lady. She was peddling her fish sandwiches, the cakes, the potato salad etc and i partook in all of it. I was really liking this place. Then they kicked me out. Well... let's hope their papers and taxes are in order! We'll find out. read more

I explained that it was in the online menu for $53.99 and the only response I got was "we just changed prices and the website hasn't updated and that it is now $60.99. Naturally my response was along the lines of, "ok, but it's advertised online for $53.99". The only response I received from then on was that it's $60.99. I spoke with a manager on-site who repeated the same response. I was told that they would call the big boss and after a 10 minute hold what do you think I was told? If you guessed "it's $60.99". I was also told that the link for them, which is the 1st search result from google is not the website they use anymore and there was no way they would honor the price that they have on, not 1 but 2 online menus. At this point, I was done. I told them that they had lost a long time customer over $7, hung up, called Riverside Pub and Grill which is right around the corner and got better crab cakes. It's also worth noting that I paid roughly the same price for better food. No understanding, no flexibility, just an attitude that screamed, that's the price and if you don't want to pay then whatever. On principle I will never eat there again and I will be discussing their pricing and business practices with the BBB. I get that online pricing may take some time to update but if it doesn't update online live then that is the cost of doing business and you'll have to suck it up sometimes but to not even consider honoring a price that they have listed on 2 menus online is not the attitude a business that values its customers. Rest assured that I will be telling anyone who will listen about this terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and find another restaurant to eat at. Service: 1/5
