All I wanted was 2 steak tacos with no sour cream and no tomatoes and they messed that up 3 times in a row. Something so simple.

It is a taco bell. Convenient, local, open late are the perks. But overall this location is one of the better locations.

What a great find! A friend of mine recommended this restaurant and we brought her with us to have…read moredinner. Parking is difficult as it is only street parking with no parking lot and limited street parking as it is. We were there early and even then it was hard to get a table at 5:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday. We got a table in one of the rooms off to the side and though it was loud you could hear yourself talk with the people in your party. Since it was during happy hour we were able to get drinks at a slightly reduced price and I had the cilantro honey Margarita which was outstanding. Our friend got a Paloma and another friend had just a regular margarita. They were different in color and taste but were really good. We started out with guacamole and chips and the guac was delicious. We were charged for chips and addition and I would have thought that if we were ordering guacamole that the chips would have come with it but it did not, it was an extra charge. For our main entrees, I ordered a ceviche with shrimp, octopus, and sea bass and it didn't come as I'm used to as there was a container of white sauce in the middle which was good I just didn't pour it all over the ceviche and dipped in instead. The ceviche was really good and very filling and meal in itself. The others in the party got tacos and a burrito and both looked amazing. I was still hungry enough to have dessert and I had a Choco Taco which was good though on the small side and it looked like it just came out of the freezer and didn't have to be made. My friend ordered the flan and she's gluten free and it looked delicious and tasted delicious but it took a while to prepare. Just so you are aware, they add 20% on to your check regardless of the party size. That's fine as that's what I would have given anyway. All in all for the food that we had it was reasonably priced. I didn't see anything outrageously priced in their menu and I highly recommend Clavel and I will be back in the future.

Their salsa is warm (temperature, not spice) because of the way it is prepared. We've had the fundito before but I prefer not to get that because it is too filling! The tacos are great- really good ingredients, you can add on things like pickled vegetables and beans. Definitely makes a very filling meal! We went for HH to get their delicious margaritas on discount. The service is always great, bartenders are super nice. The bar area is not huge so get there early for a spot. Even getting a table can be hard sometimes as they get busy!

It's there and cooked without oil immersion or the awful trap of terrible portioning. Here, the nutrients shine. And that is healthy. Price: Decent. Very Decent. Everything I bought there was roughly over 45 dollars (before the tipping) and keep in mind, the condiments and sauces were complimentary. For this quality and quantity? I definitely got my money's worth. Experience: Wonderful server. Even in a busy dinner cycle, she came over and literally started to hand me a menu almost right as I sat down. Even gave me a great recommendation for the Enchilada platter and brought the holster of extras over to the table as well. The food was delivered quickly, and the small details (utensils, cleanliness, chair organization etc.) were great. Taste: Honestly this place is a standout for seasoning. It's flavorful, unique, and skewed towards spices over oil. Tasteful impact, without the baggage. A gem. Even among so many other restaurants serving this cuisine in the area I've tried, this is a standout. I'll come eat here again. You should too. It's right next to Patterson park with so many parking spaces nearby. I'm gonna run here. Soon.

Don't let the outside deceive you. Once you walk in you'll smell the fresh cilantro and chile. It took a bit to translate the menu, but you'll figure it out. There are plenty of options. The server helped us figure it out and we were set. I ordered the El pastor tacos, beans & rice, and tortilla chips. The tacos were theeee best! What I loved the most is that the corn tortillas didn't fall apart!!! I hate it when I go to eat a taco and it falls apart. They cooked the tortillas enough so they held up, but were still soft. Did I already say how good the tacos were?! Along with the meat is cilantro, some onions, and you can top it with some green chili sauce. Sooooo good! The pico de Gallo was some of the best I've ever had. I know what you're thinking. How could you go wrong with pico de Gallo? Yeah, I wonder the same thing, but this pico was FRESH with just the right ratio of tomato, onion, cilantro, etc. Next time I'll order two of them. The chips are restaurant-made. That was our first indicator that the food was going to be ALL that we hoped it would be. AND it was. The beans were pinto beans. Memories from home and the ultimate comfort food. The were cooked perfectly with just enough seasoning. The rice was perfectly cooked too. This is the taco spot you need to try.

I got an Al pastor burrito and esquires to go. The food is pretty good. It's not super authentic more of a fusion, but it hits the spot. The Alpa store taco had avocados in it, which really gave me a baja mexican food vibes. The salsa was great - I will definitely be asking for more next time. I was really impressed with how much grocery they had inside this market because it looks quite small from the outside, but it's quite large. It looks really well maintained, and the shelves were being stocked. For the three tacos, we chose al pastor, asada, and carnitas. Each one was equally delicious with savory and smoky flavors. I'd highly recommend checking Cinco de Mayo Dos out and exploring the market while you're here in Baltimore!
