Ive eaten there previously and it was decent but after this experience I will never ever eat food from there again. I pulled up & waited, with zero interaction from the speaker for another 5 min. I pulled up to the window, there were 2 girls inside. The one not at the register sees me, proceeds to finish her conversation, then moseys on over to the window. I asked "Drive thru not working?" She lets out a huge sigh while wiping her hands down her already nasty shirt & says "It is. It's just... uh.... Can you just give me a minute?" I just said "No, thank you!" And drove away. First, even a small acknowledgment on the speaker would have been nice. Then, having the store up & running 30 minutes after opening would be normal. Also, clean uniforms, or at least an apron if she was cooking, would have been stellar. And, not acting as if a customer ordering was a chore would have been amazing. All of these things are very basic customer service tenants if you want returning customers. They have 8 to 10 different beers on tap, and however many in cans. They have appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches on the menu. I think a couple of salads too. The burger we tried was called the Peanut Butter Smash. A bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and house made strawberry jam. It was very good! And the French fries were some of the best I've ever had! The best burger we have tried in the Burger Brawl so far! Whether you need a drink or something to eat, give Ice House a try!
