2-20-26 update Another great visit to Chick-fil-A! I got an email yesterday that I had a free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit for using the Chick-fil-A app., and I could not get "the Lord's chicken" out of my mind this morning! Hubs had a medical appointment and did not have the CFA app., so I placed my free chicken biscuit order on the app and added a small hash rounds. The total cost was $1.80 and I opted for drive through pick up and provided the make, model, and color of my car for the app. Once I got to Chick-fil-A, the drive through line was endless. This is a great problem for CFA to have and it really wasn't a problem it is just so easy to pop inside and check the pickup area for your order. When I change from drive through pick up to pickup area pick up the app notified me it would be 3-7 minutes. It was maybe three minutes tops because I walked in and boom, order was ready! Everything was cooked correctly, tasted well, the interior of the store was beyond clean and organized and everyone seemed happy! Thanks, Chick-fil-A! read more

This Chick-fil-A has such a cozy interior that is so welcoming and beautiful! They have unique decorations and cute little plants on each table. There are so many windows, it makes it so open and relaxing. The staff was super nice as we ordered and made it an exceptional time. Food was delicious and they gave us lots of the sauces we ordered. Plenty of free parking and what seemed like a quick-moving drive through line, although I dined in. I'll be back and would definitely recommend this restaurant! read more

So here I am writing a review for the Chicken Mecca...Chick-fil-A of Athens, Alabama. Breakfast visit. Quick, Accurate, and Tasty! The price is what it is. The line is wrapped around the building, but they are cool like air traffic control. In and out in no time, though. Minus one star because the staff was not their normal uplifting self. Today I couldn't see a smile or get a "my pleasure" from any of the three folks I interacted with. I'm reevaluating myself--it must be me. They were a bit flustered today, but everyone has a bad day every now and then. It must be the traffic for the seasonable Peach Shake. It is awesome, so says my wife. read more

Slow, horribly slow, drive thru. Two lanes open but only taking orders in one lane. Orders were not taken in sequence, which messed up the pick up window. Didn't get order right. I am a huge chick fil a fan, with signature member status. However, I am disappointed in my breakfast experience. I decided to stop here for breakfast while traveling thru. I pulled into the parking lot and made a mobile order then got in the drive thru for pick up. Service time was average. However; after I got my food and got back on the road, I opened my breakfast burrito to find that it was barely warm. The cheese wasn't even melted. As a matter of fact, it was cold. Ms. Barbara L. You need to listen and carry the chick-fil-A attitude. "My pleasure" was not your mood or aura that you were giving to the customers. It made me sad. Also, wow, first location I find unorganized and struggling with the flow of orders. The customers are rude too. It too me getting out of the car to stop cars so we could pull it of the parking lot. My wife's favorite fast food. Truthfully, mine too along with Panda Express. Both relatively healthy choices.

This is the one of the best Chick-fil-A's in this state. Is it crowded? Yes. Is it quick? It's as quick and efficient as it can be. Since this location opened they've never failed me! If they mess up they have no problem admitting it and will do everything they can to correct the problem. I love my Athens Chick-fil-A. There are many like it, but this one is mine! (High five if you know the reference.) I recommend the spicy chicken sandwich with the garlic herb ranch and a fat stack of waffle fries. If you're really wanting the complete meal get a strawberry or chocolate shake to complete the experience. read more

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. ASI was going through one night on my way home from Nashville I was eating the crumbs of my French fries and hit into someones fake fingernail. The fingernail cut my tongue. They aren't informing gloves during a pandemic and they aren't informing no fake fingernails in a restaurant. They basically blew me off and aren't trying to fix the problem at all. They lied and said no females were working that night and no females had fake nails. Which is a lie as I saw about five women in the restaurant. Don't waste your money here ridiculous they do not care about their customers only their selves. read more

We went to chick-fil-a for breakfast and when we walk out the line blocked our car so we had to pull into the line just to leave.

Your typical Chick-fil-A location. Great tasting food, friendly employees. Could use a little more parking. It was full when we went through the drive through. Staff were helping the long line in the drive through, which you've come to expect at any CFA. I'm sure I'd stop by here again when I'm in the area. read more

As always, Chickfila does an A+ job in food quality and customer service. Ordered my meal through the Chickfila app for a quick carryout lunch. You place your order on the app, once you get to the restaurant location, you click a button notifying the staff that you've arrived so that your food will be as fresh as can be. My food is always fresh, delicious, and accurate. This Chickfila location in Athens, AL has nice employees and I always look forward to getting my meal here when I visit from out of town! read more

Since the pandemic they are focused on quantity over quality. The last 3 times I've gotten Chick-fil-A at dinner time my sandwich has been so soggy when you bite into it you immediately lose your appetite. The chicken is over cooked. I can't even bite through the chicken it's so tough the quality of chicken meat they use now is terrible now. Super fatty. And my fries are almost always over done. When they fix this issue consistently I'll remove my rating. Was my favorite place to eat. Now I'm disappointed and sad to say I'd rather have a mcchicken instead. I think it's safe to say athens needs 2 Chick-fil-A's to fulfill quality and customer service again like they use to. read more

Very out of character for Chick-fil-A customer service. Lots of workers were around, but not really doing anything. There were only 4 of us in line. So not swarming with guests like normal. I was so excited to visit a CFA, but was immediately turned off. when we arrived the location was DIRTY. We needed a highchair, not one of them has been wiped down. Every table had trash on the table, booths or chairs. Half the store smelled like sewer back up. We didn't dare venture into the kid play area. I do not understand how CFA allows the bad service at this location. Every time I stop at this location there is either a wait issue, a wrong food issue, or an out of items issue. The CFAs in Nashville take through twice as many customers in the same amount of time with less errors. The food itself it usually fine. read more

Ordered 2 small trays of chicken at 8am. I asked for it to be ready at 2. I got there at 2 minutes till 2 and it was total pandemonium in this place. Every order was late but my real issue was #1 the manager wasn't there #2 a man who came in 15 minutes after us and was late for pick up was a total jerk and he got his asap. We were still waiting! But the final nail in the coffin was when an employee gets off work and walks out with his trays and another employee walks in just orders and was getting his before us. We asked was our order free since we were being ignored because we were nice but no response and it is a state holiday ( iron bowl ) We are very late for the game. I ordered a free chicken sandwich with the customer feedback survey and hubby got a chicken sandwich combo. My chicken filet was very small, half the size of the bun, dry and tough. The bun was also stale, and it was obvious the sandwich had been sitting there for a while. Husbands sandwich was normal and good (which may have been fresh due to no pickle order). This makes me wonder if they have a separate pile of "free" chicken sandwiches, which had a noticeable lack of quality. read more
