Sadly I order from Chick-fil-A almost daily and for fast food we all know they are rocking it. This location is a prime example. My order has only been messed up one time in probably the 400 times I've stopped to order my breakfast from them the past few years. This also includes the times I've stopped for lunch or dinner on the way home. Always hot, fresh warm. Always with a smile and their pleasure. I can't figure it out?! They make a great chicken sandwich, but they don't have any burgers! The staff is the best out there - hands down. They are the best in fast food. I showed up to this Chick-Fil-A at 10:32 AM and they said they couldn't sell me breakfast. I've eaten at this Chick-fil-A many times... There are days when I've arrived here past 10:45 and they've still hooked me up with breakfast no problem, but today I was told no at 10:32. I was surprised, but lately this location hasn't been on their A-game anyways (i.e. forgetting condiments in my bag, not including straws with the drink, etc.). Chick-fil-A is usually a place where you never have to check your bag to make sure you got the correct order, but this location is unfortunately an exception. On Christmas Eve, we made a run here for to-go for the six of us. As is expected, everyone was polite. Our order included a couple of breakfast bowls, a burrito, chicken biscuits, hash browns, and a couple of boxes of chicken minis. Upon arrival several miles away at the house we were renting for Christmas, it was discovered we were missing an order of chicken minis and several salsas for the burrito and bowls. By the time this was discovered, it was after breakfast hours and we had other holiday activities planned. One of our group asked why no one checked the order to ensure it was correct. I love Chick-fil-A and come by frequently since returning to Athens. I ordered on my app and went through drive thru. My meal was given to me and when I returned home, I realized the grilled chicken sandwich was missing. I had ordered that meal and had a reward for a chick fil a sandwich. The chick fil a sandwich and fries were the only things in the bag. I called the manager and let her know, and I could not return that day. She promised a couple rewards to make up for the mistake. Nothing showed up that night or the next day. I called again and she promised to do it then, even said I would get an email but never asked for my email. The following day there was still no reward at all. Very disappointed in this continuing series of mistakes. She had asked for my name, we discussed it twice and nothing. $12 for a meal which consisted of fries and a drink, my reward of chick fil a sandwich was included. When you visit this Chick-fil-A, it's easy to see why they have been rated the #1 Chick-fil-A in the country (yes the country!) on a consistent basis for their attention to customer service. Stopping in for an early breakfast on gameday, there was a large crowd inside and two long drive-thru lines. Outside, Chick-fil-A employees were using iPads to move up and down the drive-thru lines to take everyone's order and move them through the process quickly and efficiently. More cars continued to pour in and take the spaces vacated by those who had received their food and were sent on their way with a smile. It almost reminded me of a hot wheels race at the speeds the cars were moving - it was definitely not their first rodeo. Inside, the manager was directing line traffic and helping to pass out food while those behind the counter were smiling, in their favorite UGA gear, and quickly moving through the process of ringing up customer after customer. The manager was positive and welcoming and gave everyone high fives as they came through the door. You could tell he was pumped up for the day and wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. On the right side of the store, in the seating alcove, they had online order pick-up set up so those grabbing tailgating platters could easily hop in, pick them up, and be on their way. Even with all the foot traffic, I was immediately helped and received my food in less than two minutes. Now that's impressive. We nabbed a table in the corner and enjoyed people watching while eating our breakfast. Servers were constantly coming around to bus vacated tables, offering to get refills, bringing food from the counter. etc. These guys were the real heroes of the day - they kept the flow even and steady so there would always be a table available when needed. Unfortunately, I had a VERY bad experience at this restaurant, and even WORSE experience with the managers and owner. I was served a milkshake with maraschino cherry that was NOT pitted. I bit down, and fractured a molar, and thus had to seek dental care. The tooth requires a crown and root canal. I reported this issue to the ChickFila management and owner (Mr. Shane Todd), but they couldn't seem to care less about my injury, pain, or dental expenses. As a ChickFilA owner, the ethics of their response stinks particularly bad. Their insurance company sedgwick) gives me the run-around, blames the cherry supplier (Dales Cherries), who then gets their insurance (Hartford) involved. What a mess of pointing fingers. I love the amazing services they provided and as a Northerner, there is no other place that can better reflect Southern hospitality than this CFA on Alps. After you are done with eating, there are plenty of shops to either walk around or window shop inside the Beechwood Promenade Shopping Center. There is a Rack Room Shoe, Crunch, Stein Mart, Chico, Jos A Bank, Loft, Michael, The Fresh Market, Talbot's, CVS, movie theater, UPS, Your Pie all within walkable distance. All of the staffs appeared to be welcoming with a genuine big smile. Bathrooms were fairly cleaned and well equipped. I like this CFA more than the downtown and the CFA inside Tate Student Center because the chicken biscuit is two times bigger than the one owned by the school. I also like the CFA on Atlanta Hwy. Service was really quick as well. It is a little hard to get in and out of the parking lot though, so watch all 4 ways for traffic trying to get in and out of not only the CFA but also the other shops within the Beechwood Promenade. read more

I can see why this place is right for certain people. If you have 8 children that you don't want to deal with just take them here. Let them run around. Ordering my usual(what does it matter it is all the same) chicken nuggets and fries. Food was decent while being almost inedible at the same time. Once I sat down I and opened my box of little chicken nuggets I knew it was going to be bad. The first bite was just like it always is. The second being interrupted by a child vomiting in the booth right next to me. When did this become cute people? I have never seen and mother just let something like that ride.
