Celiac reviewer here! I have been taking my kids here for quite awhile before I learned I could actually eat here. I ordered a chicken sandwich (flagged for a gluten allergy) as well as fries flagged for a gluten allergy. Everything was bagged separately. They use the fry fryer alone, so there's no cross contamination. The gluten free bun was ordered with the sandwich and it comes packaged by itself. The bun itself was not great, but such is gluten free life- and I majorly appreciate the option! I also got a lemonade and that was the best lemonade I've ever had. In terms of staff and atmosphere, you truly can't get better service than chick fil a. Staff is so friendly and helpful. My kids love this place and I'm grateful to be able to eat here as well! My bestie and I come here for trivia and bring our kiddos. We love the service and how clean the restaurant is. Everyone is so sweet. We usually get the 30 count nugget meal and share. The nuggets are so good and they let you have a ton of sauce if you want. My other fav thing to get here is the chicken sandwich with extra pickles. And their sweet tea is delicious. read more

More Fun Than Disneyland! Way Less Crowded! A great place to spend time with family, friends, or even alone! If you happen to be alone, I guarantee that you won't feel lonely, as long as you return the kind of genuinely kindness that EVERY employee radiates! Take, for example, OWEN, the inside cashier. He greeted me with a friendly smile, and had lots of patience with this O.G., who needed help deciding what to order. When I finally decided, he actually offered to carry my order number card to the table, since I am legally disabled, and that one card could have been the straw that broke this camel's back! I just ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, a healthy option, and an ice water. The sandwich came with lettuce , tomato , and a delicious, lightly colored, BBQ dressing. It was brought to my table by another friendly associate, who made sure that I had everything that I needed. To top it off, a young lady named Tyra, with a million dollar smile, came by to clean off my table, in their large, impeccably clean, dining room. I told her that I wished that I wouldn't have to get in the line, to order dessert, and like The Good Witch, in The original Wizard Oz, she granted my wish, by letting me know that I could order directly from my table with my iPhone. I ordered a cup of soft serve ice cream, coffee, and a delicious brownie, with pieces of chocolate baked in. It was like A Poor Man's Affogato coffee, with a gourmet dessert, in a wrapper (please excuse the oxymoron)! When it was time to head out, I asked to speak with Travis, the operator of this franchise, on the historic Highway 58 (Rosedale Highway). He came up to my table right away, and was very happy to hear that I was overjoyed with my dining experience. Like all of his other workers and managers that I met, he was genuinely friendly and appreciative. Not all places are like that! Remember...they aren't open on Sunday's, but everyone needs time to recharge their batteries, be with loved ones, and reflect on our increasingly complex and challenging lives. When I was a little boy in the 1950's, the Blue Laws mandated Sunday closures. Now, Chic-fil-A's does this voluntarily, and I think it's great! Even the physical plant needs a day of rest! read more

Good chicken sandwich, as always, I always eat the spicy no pickle. If I wanted vegetables, I would be a vegetarian. Anyway, it still has one of the better chicken sandwiches on the market.And still has the absolute worst chicken strips on the planet. Waffle fries are not the best they could be crispier.And a little more seasoned, but there's nothing to chik fil sauce won't solve. I also had their cookies and cream shake which for the price is just as good as most other retailers and puts In & Outs artificial flavor shakes the shame. This location is very clean and bright. We had to wait a few minutes to place our order. Our customer service person was fantastic. Emilse was super friendly and no matter what questions or requests she explained it to us with a smile on her face. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the sandwich especially the lack of over sauce like other places. Overall I believe emilse really made my night with how amazingly sweet she is. I have been a fan of Chick Fil A my whole life! This was the worst location I've ever been to. They took forever to make my milkshake. The employees seemed like they were miserable. And I asked for 10 chick fil a sauce considering the many amount of meals I ordered and they gave me 2 sauces! The employees here are bad service and the food was okay. read more

This location has exceptional organization! I absolutely adore the speedy service. Even when asked to park ahead (which is rare), I've never experienced a longer wait time than like 3 minutes. The restaurant and parking lot alike are well kept and all team members are kind. The food is always hot and tastes great! My favorite out of it all has to be the survey they always have posted on their window in drive thru pick up! It's engaging and fun to observe while we wait for our food! Within 48 hours of placing my order, I received a text message from Ellie Q. Ellie's disposition was bright and helpful. She went above and beyond to make this transaction as smooth as possible. A day before the event, she checked in again and I was able to add a couple of more items to my order. She also asked the names of the birthday boy and girl. The day of the event, Ellie and her coworker arrived 30 minutes prior to the scheduled delivery time and set up everything. Ellie was kind and communicative, and I appreciated her in-person demeanor. She also left a gift for the birthday boy and girl and included their names on the card. I also received a gift card for a free item and a wonderful handwritten note. I liked it, but I think it might be overhyped. As for the nuggies, wow. Those were pretty good chicken nuggets -- possibly my new favorite. It's always time for some Chick fil A ! I must say they have the best service out of all the fast food- always pleasant. I'm so happy they put a second location in Bakersfield! Hahaha no excuse not to go now! Drive thru lines can be long... but usually go fast. Inside is pretty organized with the line to order. Clean inside ; love that there is patio seating too. Always a decent meal here. Ordered the grilled chicken wrap with avocado lime dressing. If you want to eat something healthy this is a great alternative. Light, refreshing , and still filling and delicious. Kale salad is good too; nice greens; comes with a bag of nuts to put on top too if you wish. Everything is perfect! Horrible horrible horrible. if i could give 0 stars i would. they forgot my chicken sandwich TWICE IN A ROW. and the second time they forgot my mac and cheese too. at least the first time was doordash so i got refunded immediately. the second time i actually went. my fault for not checking. i ordered three things didn't realize it'd be so hard. i called and told them the issue and they said to come back to the store. absolutely not. i have two babies, it's a struggle getting loaded into the car and unloaded. and plus i live in shafter so id just be wasting gas. i told them i wanted a refund and that some lady would reach out to me but never did. Can't believe there's a chick-fil-a in the northwest area of Bakersfield now! Super close. Very quick service, I probably had to wait about 5 minutes after I placed my order. We went inside but ordered take-out. From first glance, the whole store is spacey and clean! Very loud but not too loud or it didnt bother me as much. I knew chick-fil-a is pretty busy and has many workers all over the place, so a quiet environment was obviously not expected when walking in. We ordered: - 1 chick-fil-a deluxe sandwich meal with no pickles, this comes with medium sized fries & a drink (we got root beer) - 1 chick-fil-a sandwich - 1 spicy deluxe sandwich we also asked for dipping sauces, 2 chick-fil-a sauces and 1 sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. This place needs to get new employees because when ordering they kept on saying that they couldn't hear my little brother and he even woke up and was practically yelling so I had to order for him. Then they forgot our sauces so I had my little brother run in to grab the four sauces that we ordered and he went up and grabbed them. No problem from an employee and another employee went up and called him Ridiculous. This place has terrible customer service and Chick-fil-A needs to start hiring better employees. read more

Really stingy with their chicken. Every time I have gotten a cook wrap, it's basically just a wrap with lettuce. There's rarely any chicken in it and hardly any cheese. I just got one, and there was literally only one piece of chicken. I very strongly do NOT recommend this location. It's so inconsistent. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

I debated heavily about leaving a review. In the end, I'm leaving two stars with the hopes it'll improve to the five I know it can be. Recently, I sent my partner to pick up dinner at the newly opened Chik-fil-A. I saw an advertisement for their pimento chicken sandwich and we both decided on two for a quick weekday dinner. The flavor was a little too cloying for me. I didn't even finish the entire sandwich. Between being a little too sweet from honey, and too cheesy - it was simply a lot. An hour later I was regretting my decision. I chalked it up to me not having eaten all day. But when my partner began having increasingly worse symptoms we knew we were hit with food poisoning. Truthfully, I've eaten some pretty crazy things in my lifetime in many a foreign country. Things that would turn the stomachs of most. And I've never so much as experienced "Traveler Stomach". But this? This was clearly a food, likely salmonella, poisoning. I won't go into the details, but I do want to note that given the lack of external variables between us both it all boiled down to these two sandwiches ordered on 10/12. I will say the drive thru was incredibly fast. But perhaps therein lies the issue. I hope to update this review. But in due time. I need a chance to emotionally recover. read more
