It was yummy and a perfectly portioned meal. I tried the red hot sauce and it really put some flavor on it. Because I loved it so much, I went back to have dinner there again tonight! I wanted extra sauces and they wanted to charge for it, when the one on gosford has all the sauces on self serve. My BF and I are trying to stick to a healthier diet and are typically pretty indecisive about where we want to eat, so he brought us here for dinner. It was empty when we entered so there was hardly any wait, even for our food (which was awesome because we were super hungry). My BF ordered a plate with extra veggies instead of a cabbage salad, white rice, and tofu. I got a regular sized chicken bowl with white rice, all white meat chicken (which costs extra), and all the veggies. He ate his meal with the hot hot sauce (a jalapeño sauce) and I had mine with the Magic sauce (a sauce that tasted a lot like teriyaki). I loved the hot hot sauce but it was waaaay too spicy for me. The Magic sauce is what I went with for my bowl. I have a feeling I will definitely be a frequent customer at at least one of their locations. Their food is just too awesome to pass up. Well, I was shown what a great teriyaki bowl can be! Their meats were well-seasoned and very tasty. The vegetables were cooked just right so that they were tender but with a slight crunch. Yum! Plus they have options of white or brown rice as well. What can make this great meal even better? Their so-called Magic sauce and hot sauce!! I get as much as I can of each and cover the meat. The teriyaki sauce is tasty and not thick and goopy like other places' sauces tend to be. The hot sauce is spicy but almost sweet at the same time. Oh so good! Their ultimate plate is so much food too! Their bowls are enough for a filling, healthy meal. They've never skimped on the meat. It's not just a bunch of rice with some meat. If you are looking for a healthier option, this is it. you can manage if you would like to keep away from grains with substituting for all veggies and if you are a vegetarian, there is a tofu option available! The sauces are really good, magic sauce is like a teriyaki mixed with soy or something, red is like a buffalo sauce, and the green is spicy! Packaging of the bowls are pretty nice. I like to be a little more green friendly and I save the bowls to use when I bring my lunch to work. This location is charging extra for extra sauce. I remember before, we were able to grab our own without extra charge. I was given 2 tiny cups and charged 50 cents for another tiny cup. The cashier said its because they have to put it together. Isn't that part of their service?
