I debated heavily about leaving a review. In the end, I'm leaving two stars with the hopes it'll improve to the five I know it can be. Recently, I sent my partner to pick up dinner at the newly opened Chik-fil-A. I saw an advertisement for their pimento chicken sandwich and we both decided on two for a quick weekday dinner. The flavor was a little too cloying for me. I didn't even finish the entire sandwich. Between being a little too sweet from honey, and too cheesy - it was simply a lot. An hour later I was regretting my decision. I chalked it up to me not having eaten all day. But when my partner began having increasingly worse symptoms we knew we were hit with food poisoning. Truthfully, I've eaten some pretty crazy things in my lifetime in many a foreign country. Things that would turn the stomachs of most. And I've never so much as experienced "Traveler Stomach". But this? This was clearly a food, likely salmonella, poisoning. I won't go into the details, but I do want to note that given the lack of external variables between us both it all boiled down to these two sandwiches ordered on 10/12. I will say the drive thru was incredibly fast. But perhaps therein lies the issue. I hope to update this review. But in due time. I need a chance to emotionally recover. read more

What can you say!!!! The new Chick-Fil-A is just the same as any that you will visit in America!!!! They will have friendly staff that are happy to serve you. The Stockdale location definitely must have an amazing training manager and this one doesn't, at all! Please rehire one. Because what's the point of chick filla if the can't say "My Pleasure!" If there was a review for zero stars I would. Worse service ever and not trained properly employees. They got the drinks wrong 2 times in a row. Forgot a sandwich in the order so guess what someone isn't eating dinner with the family. And the other sandwich wasn't cooked correctly soggy middle chewy chicken. I'm not one to complain until management decided to replace my sandwich for free. But the inconvenience of wasting gas and time and ruining dinner is not worth it for a simple sandwich. I am very disappointed in them. Olivia I believe her name was asked me if i wanted to get a meal with my sandwich I told Olivia' that Im okay and she said that I couldn't get a sandwich without it and refused to serve me. Olivia didn't give me service (or any of her co workers) until I said i would give her a 6 dollar tip. If i wasn't as hungry as i was I would have filed a personal report. I mostly order online. This time I ordered a Kids meal. The kids meal is pretty good. A good choice of sides to choose from, you can get a dessert if you don't want prize and good variety of drinks to choose from. The only thing about the waffle fries is that it is not too crispy. Horrible service first of all. My chicken sandwhich was raw in the middle. I went back in and was greeted by a rather large man. His name tag said "Kevin". He must've been having a bad day because he did not seem to care about my clearly RAW chicken sandwhich. He begrudgingly offered a remake, when i obviously said yes, he rolled his eyes and got another one. No "I'm sorry" or " apologize for the inconvenience". I will not be coming back. I had limited time so I ordered online to pick up lunch and eat on the go. After arriving and following the steps to pick up the food, it was not ready. I asked 3 different people for help at various times and they all said it will be ready shortly. I could not wait any longer as I was now running late for my appointment, I asked for a refund. They sent a manager and she rushed to get the order ready without listening to why I'm asking for a refund. Even the refund process took long, because the manager did not pause to listen. And she was surprised that I did not want the food. She said the crew is new and they did not know that the online process was not working. I did not say anything because as I was waiting there multiple people picked up online orders. It was a poor example of customer service. read more

The employees are so friendly, patient and kind each time we go to Chick-fil-A, whether it's dine in or drive through. This week however everything ordered came out wrong. 1. Ordered Chicken Noodle soup because I was not feeling good. Instead I received chicken tortilla soup-not great for an upset stomach. 2. The grilled Chix sandwich was ordered without tomatoes, but there were tomatoes on it. Plus the bottom of the bun fell apart. The receipt was correct, so it must have been an error in the kitchen. To preface this review, I will say I've only had Chick-fil-A thrice. That being said, scientifically speaking, Chick-fil-A has given me dysentery 33.33% of the time (not confirmed). I ordered a chicken Sammy at 12:19pm. Ate at approx. 12:45 pm. Went to get a spray tan at 1:30pm. So, there i was, naked and afraid standing in the presence of the spray tan woman exposed and vulnerable when the first attack hit me. I started sweating from all 5 million pores on my body (which is a true statistic- you can google it). I got hit with nausea mid spray tan. As the spray tan and sweat was dripping off my cold limp body I ran to this woman's bathroom and gargoyled over her toilet to allow my body to expel either demons that were cast forth from God's chicken, or vomit. Nevertheless, I was able to push through and make it home where I came to 3 conclusions. 1. Either someone has not learned how to operate the Chick-fil-A standard deep fryer and thus provided me with squishy meats. 2. Someone has poop fingers and a past history of fornication and may have poked my chicken and infected it with ebola and sin. Or 3. It is in fact the lords chicken and what I was experiencing was an exorcism. Either way, I think I'm very ill. And I will be staying hydrated. Thoughts and prayers. I need some holy water, an enema, and some dignity. I will also be burning some sage and I won't be taking questions at this time. Thank you. Chick-Fil-A is off my places to eat list. I was in there the other day with my wife, I had a spicy deluxe and milkshake, my wife had the southwest salad and iced tea. First off, over $30 for this? Thanks to all the dumb asses who voted that in. Second, the food. I went to eat my sandwich and after removing it from the wrapper, the bun was ice cold. I took it back and they profusely apologize and brought me another, which was slightly warmer than the first one, but still not appetizing. Odd how the prices skyrocketed and the quality nose dived. Traveling to places is hard for me right now. I'm handicapped at the moment that's why drive thru's my go to when buying food. I picked up an order at Northwest Promenade ChickFil-A through drive-thru. I ordered the usual chicken sandwiches & specifically asked for ChickFil-A house sauce & ketchup. I got my order & had asked for confirmation if they had included the sauces. The service crew confirmed that I have it on my bag. I drove back home. Opened the bag. NO sauces, straw & napkins. The sauces were the most important part of the sandwiches that's why I asked for it since without the sauces I feel that this what enhanced the chicken sandwich taste. It's the sauce that makes me go back & order chicken sandwich. The frustration is coming from the fact that I'm not in a situation at the moment to be driving all the time & go back because somebody dropped the ball. For some it's just sauces, but for my situation- it takes a lot for me to go out & drive. We love the newest location! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Drive thru lines and short and efficient. My kids and I used to wait 30 plus minutes in the older locations lines. I don't think we have had to wait longer than 5 minutes here. read more

I'm not picky but if I ask for something and it gets sent to me completely different from what I said/paid for I will go back up and get my order. I asked for my #2 meal cause they gave me their chicken strips and a small fry. I've grown up in Bakersfield and have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Usually it's just a simple "ok let me fix that" or "can I see the receipt please" but no. They acted like I just walked in, called them ugly and asked to borrow $20 (like a little sister lol). It's so weird to experience mean girl behavior when trying to get a quick meal. You don't need to roll your eyes and walk away like as if you were my babysitter and I just said I hate you. Let me start by saying that the workers at this location are always super sweet, but it's been many times my food wasn't cooked well, wasn't fresh and was not worth the money. I went to pick up breakfast this morning and per usual the drive thru ladies were super sweet. I asked that my food be dropped fresh and it didn't seem to be an issue. However a manager came to my car trying to convince me that the food they dropped five minutes ago was "fresh enough" and to open it and check.. it was really awkward because I simply asked that my food be made fresh and I wouldn't have issues waiting, after I politely declined the offer to examine a sandwich while she was standing there she went back inside for all of two minutes and came out with what I concluded was that same food. My hash browns were cold and my sandwich was meh, clearly it's a management issue at this location! Definitely will not be spending my money at this location anymore. read more
