Unfortunately, my experience today at both the Placentia and Brea locations fell far short of those values. At 1:22 p.m., I placed a mobile order and accidentally sent it to the wrong location. This was completely my mistake, and I take full responsibility for that. However, what should have been a simple solution turned into an almost two-hour ordeal. My boyfriend drove to the Placentia location to pick up the order. While waiting in the drive-thru, he sat for approximately 15-20 minutes without anyone acknowledging him or even letting him know someone would be with him shortly. The wait became so excessive that several cars actually left the line. When he was finally helped, he was told my order had been placed at the Brea location. Since both restaurants are owned by Chrissy Hartmann, I asked if they could simply remake the order there and cancel the original. Initially, we were told they could not and that we would need to cancel the order ourselves and purchase it again, despite the fact that the order had already been paid for through the app. Eventually, they were able to make it work--which left me wondering why that solution wasn't offered from the beginning. My boyfriend then drove from Placentia to the Brea location, where he once again waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged him. The one bright spot in this experience was Fiona. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely wanted to help. When she couldn't locate my order, she immediately involved the supervisor, who simply handed her a card to manually ring in and comp the order. If the solution was that straightforward, why wasn't it offered at the first location? More importantly, why did no manager or supervisor come over to apologize for the repeated delays or take ownership of the situation? After more than an hour of waiting, driving between two locations, and dealing with unnecessary confusion, the only gesture offered was an ice cream cone. While I appreciate the thought, it did not address the lack of communication, urgency, or accountability we experienced. My boyfriend finally arrived home with our food at 2:55 p.m.--over an hour and a half after I placed the order. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. Recently, I received a free sandwich after another excessively long drive-thru wait for a single item. Just two weeks before that, I was given the wrong order entirely, and when I went inside to have it corrected, I was questioned and asked to prove it with my receipt rather than being met with the trust and hospitality Chick-fil-A is known for. At this point, the pattern is disappointing. While I understand mistakes happen, what matters most is how they're handled. Neither location demonstrated the sense of urgency, ownership, or care that Chick-fil-A has built its reputation on. Thank you, Fiona, for treating us with kindness and professionalism. You were the only person during this experience who truly embodied the Chick-fil-A standard of caring for guests. Sadly, my family and I will be taking our business to the Fullerton location moving forward. I sincerely hope the Placentia and Brea restaurants refocus on the service values that have made Chick-fil-A such a respected brand. I hadn't eaten at Chick-fil-A in years, so I recently decided to give it another try. I came away with mixed feelings. The Spicy Deluxe Sandwich was actually good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and had just the right amount of spice. My only gripe is the name "Deluxe." It seems a little funny to charge extra just because they add lettuce, tomato, and cheese. To me, those are pretty standard sandwich toppings, but I guess that's what makes it "deluxe." One thing that surprised me was when we asked if they can make the waffle fries extra crispy. The cashier simply said, "No, we can't." That caught me off guard because I've never had a restaurant turn down a 'crispy' request. Waffle fries are at their best when they're nice and crispy, so that was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, the customer service was excellent. Staff members walk around the dining room checking on guests and asking how everything was, which isn't something you usually see at a fast-food restaurant. read more

Stopped by to grab a chicken sandwich through the drive-thru. The line was pretty long, so the wait took a while. The customer service was friendly and the staff were polite, which I appreciated. As for the sandwich, it was just okay. It didn't seem as fresh as I expected, and the chicken wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be. It was still decent, but not one of the better Chick-fil-A sandwiches I've had. I placed a mobile order on 6/9/26 (order 11380578) using rewards points to pay for all the items. After a few minutes, I had an urgent medical emergency and couldn't pick up my order. I tried to cancel my order online while at the urgent care but the app won't allow it. I also tried canceling each item thru the rewards menu to move points back. Again, not allowed. Then I received an email receipt saying my order was served. NOT! Now I'm out points and food. I even took the time to talk and explain to an associate in the store to no avail ( 6/10/26 at 940am). SO REWARDS POINTS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND NO FOOD RECEIVED! What a rip off. This is my regular stop practically everyday after dropping off my grandkids to school. Stopping at this location in the morning usually seals the deal if you're cutting it close. Brea Chick-fil-A will see to it that you're late! However, the main reason I'm done and even posting a review is that the last two times I went, my order was completely wrong. It's not like I have a complicated order; "a number one with a tea." CASHIER: "would you like egg and cheese on the biscuit?" ME: "no thanks." I got a sausage and egg biscuit and soggy, undercooked tots. I don't eat pork. I ordered two meals, 10 count minis with hashbrowns and orange juice, 1 chicken biscuit with hashbrowns and an orange juice. I trusted that my order was correct because it was checked and handed to me by the manager (black polo, 20-25 years old). I went home to discover that the chicken biscuit was not in the bag. I left the minis meal with my child to eat while I drove back several miles with the hashbrowns and orange juice to show what was missing. I went inside the restaurant and spoke with the manager (last name was Saucy). I told him what had happened and asked for new hashbrowns as the ones in the bag were now cold. He told me that he can provide me the chicken biscuit and will only be able to replace the hashbrowns this one time. No apology or understanding that I had to drive all the way back and would have to eat cold hashbrowns because of this error. The entire cost of this experience was $30 plus the terrible service by your manager. I asked him if I could have the general store managers name to share this and he pointed at his own name plate. This is not the kind of service you would expect from your corporation and especially at the price I paid for these two meals. You can do better than this. read more

One benefit of keeping the Chick-fil-A app on my phone is that I've been receiving free rewards for playing a quick little game. Today, I redeemed medium waffle potato fries and five-count nuggets and bought a spicy chicken sandwich ($6.99). After I parked, I waited only a couple minutes to pick up my order. In the past few months when I've come here they've forgotten sauce /every single time/, at least 4 times. I check the bag now but my boyfriend forgot to and now we are driving back for the sauce lol. When I went in there to get more sauce I went up to the counter since they had no chick fil a sauce in the compartments at the front of store. Visited on 8/30/25 to this Brea, Ca location as a drive thru order for three drinks. We ordered the same thing we always get ice cream shakes as a treat. The window person was nice when greeted but she didn't waste time to mention the shakes were all correctly portioned so we didn't need to worry about the amount that we were getting. That was oddly specific and out of nowhere..but I was like okay? I didn't even think of debating with her because it's a drive thru and to avoid holding up the line for everyone else behind us. After checking the drinks I realized this was ridiculous because the cups were way short of a fair portion these photos were taken straight from receiving them at the window. I went back in the store to request a refund but the manager let the counter staff know not to issue a refund. So I asked them to correct my drinks and that would resolve my issue. After two back and forth conversations between the counter staff and the busy manager the manager agreed to replace the drinks. I was annoyed that it took way too much effort to get the drinks correctly served. The manager never walked up to check what the issue was and the counter staff looked uncomfortable because it was obvious the drinks were not properly prepared. Overall I was disappointed with the service and I was not angry at any point but seriously astonished that this was considered to be ok at this particular location. I added photos of the first set of drinks and the photos of the replacement order that was night and day better. Hopefully everyone has a better experience than we did and I acknowledge the store was busy and this may have been a mistake or this location is focused on portions but regardless of all possible reasons I won't be returning. read more

I will start with normally I'm typically pleased with Chick-fil-A. However, today I did not receive good customer service. I made an error when ordering and accidentally requested two drinks for a combo meal. When I arrived at the window, I let the girl know I did not need two drinks, instead I just wanted one to go with the combo. I was informed there was nothing they can do. I reported the issue before I even picked up the food, how could there be nothing they could do for me? I understand it's a three dollar transaction however it was made in error. In the middle of the day, an employee started cleaning the floor with an extremely loud machine mop. The sound gave us headaches, and completely ruined the conversation. It gave my date a migraine, spoiling our meal. Deep Cleaning the entire floor in the middle of the day, especially since the employee stayed near our occupied table, made our experience very negative. If a particular area needed cleaning, that would have been one thing. But it was a full deep clean, with areas being gone over multiple times. On our way home from an appt my partner and I decided to stop on the way home for dinner.. I ordered a southwest salad and asked for non spicy chicken. Once we drive away and as we prepare to eat on the way home I notice one, I have no forks so my partner was able to eat their meal on the way home while since i ordered a salad had to wait. Not only that I realized they didn't pack the tortilla strips and pepita seeds that the salad comes with. Disappointin. Now we arrive home and my chicken is spicy!!!! I have passed by this Chick-fil-A location countless times over the past few decades but never stopped by until today. The lines to the drive-thru are always long, viewable every time I pass by on Imperial. This Chick-fil-A location shares the same plaza as Mother's, Lucille's, Panera, Total Wine, Chipotle, and so much more. This plaza is incredibly busy, especially with the amount of storefronts compared to parking. I was lucky to be able to find a parking spot today that was in the middle of Chick-fil-A and Panera, as I headed to Panera afterwards. As other Chick-fil-A locations, it usually has a clean interior and there is usually a worker or two in the dining room cleaning up. Both the line to order and the "Pick Up" line was a bit confusing since the "Pick Up" line seemed to be a bit squished on the left, while there was a "S-shape" for ordering. There was only 1 person ahead of me in the ordering line. I was able to use my rewards easily and place an extra order as well. 2x 5-count Nuggets (w/ Chick-fil-A sauces and Honey Mustard sauces) I was able to use my app, without any issues, for a promo. Chick-fil-A® Nuggets Bite-sized pieces of boneless chicken breast, seasoned to perfection, freshly breaded and pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil. They are not overly breaded. The food was just ok. This place is given too much credit. We went in to the restaurant with a walk in / diner in order. (For here) we picked our table, sat and waited for our order at a table. We got our order and sat back down and took our food out and were about to eat when an employee told us they close at 9. So he literally made us pick up our food and re bag it to take it to go. They should inform customers that they are no longer open for dine in. They need to put a sign out or verbally inform paying customers that their order has to be to go if it's right before closing. I was not happy and will definitely not return here. Do something about this!!! Train your employees to inform your customers. If you're going to let your customers come in and order then they should be allowed to finish their meal in peace. Do better ! My kids spend too much money on you to be treated this way. read more
