I am on a casual, slow, plodding quest to try chicken sandwiches at the chains. So far Popeye's is a solid #1. The Chick takes second place. On this day I ordered the spicy fried version, not the grilled, and sat inside. Compared to my boyfriend Popeye, Chick's is less crispy, a little smaller, the spicy version is less spicy, and seems softer. I was still hungry afterwards, so I got chicken strips. This review pertains to the delivery and take out service side of things. I personally don't eat Chick-Fil-A as much, but my kids absolutely loves it. The nuggets are particularly tasty, and uses actual chicken meat. Waffle fries are some of the best around. Some highlights : - Delivery service is on-time, and on point. I've tried their local delivery from their own location since I live fairly close by. They follow all safety and health Covid-19 procedures. Staff is always friendly, and if I catch them upon delivering instead of leaving at the door, they always ask if I need anything else. Service is great. - Drive-Thru is equally friendly and helpful. No rush, and oftentimes with a big smile. You can see the staff enjoy working here, and they take their time engaging with my family and other drivers. - Food is always hot and fresh. Tastes fresh. - Even though this is fast food, it doesn't feel like that with the service you get. It's slightly above, since the staff goes that extra distance of making sure their customers are taken care of. Oh, the reason I don't eat here often myself, has nothing to do with the food or service, it's just that I usually just eat whatever the kids don't finish. I usually do love Chick-fil-A and would give this location a 5-star as I have been consistently eating there with the spicy deluxe sandwich, but I had one experience yesterday (Friday) that made me feel disappointed and upset. I had online ordered their newest item, the honey pepper pimento sandwich. I was excited to try it, until I opened it and saw the inside with only the chicken and the honey sauce (I did get no jalapeños though). I was a bit confused because I knew there should be pimento cheese sauce as seen in the picture on the app. Because of how expensive the pimento cheese sauce was and is supposed to be the highlight of the sandwich, so I decided to go back into the store to see if there was a mistake or they forgot. Turns out that they ran out of the pimento cheese, and one of the staff members told me they forgot to update this info on the app. If I had known there wasn't even the sauce available, I would not have gotten this when I could get a cheaper deluxe sandwich that is good. With that being said, the staff member offered to either give me a refund for the entire sandwich or I could choose a replacement cheese. I chose to replace it with pepper jack, but I would say thinking back I should have gotten the refund because pepper jack is much more cheaper than the pimento. I do think it's a bit misleading that they didn't put aside the order and when I came they should have asked straight up what I wanted to do if they ran out rather than placing the bag in the pickup station and letting me assume everything is there. Next time I should double check. Overall, I'm not sure if I would risk getting the honey pepper pimento sandwich again given what happened, but I hope next time if they run out of something they let us know. read more

Well well well.. where do i even begin. Me and my bestest gals wanted a nice meal, we knew we could count on chick fil a.. but boy oh boy were we wrong.. We pu to the drive thru and and start taking our order. The worker clearly didjt know what she was doing. We wanted to make separate orders so she said she could do 2 which we were okay with. So we started ordering and she takes 2 out of the 3 orders, but didn't take mine. I asked to add onto someone else's order but she said we would have to go around again which didn't make sense because the second order hadn't paid. When we pulled up to the window they took an abnormal amount of time for fast food drive though with our food and still proceeded to mess up both orders (missing drink and fried). I'm thoroughly disappointed because isn't chick fil a supposed to be great customer service? I completely understand working fast food and wouldn't want to make it confusing for the staff but at the end of the day people just need to be nice especially the staff here. read more

They have a person walking to you taking order in the long drive thru lane. Just like in n out. But they go a step further, you can swipe your card as soon as you place your order. Slick. Chicken sandwich and waffles fries are consistently good. The nugget is real chicken, but not real nugget, don't even bother. To be fair, I visit this location often and the food and service is NORMALLY good but I went yesterday and my experience was not great. Grilled chicken biscuit thingee, yogurt parfait and OJ. When I ate it, the chicken didn't taste fresh...it tasted like refrigerator. Maybe it had been sitting in the fridge uncovered overnight? Not sure but that's how it tasted. I inhaled it anyway because I was starving! The OJ was fresh and delicious but the parfait was disgusting. Remember when I said I visit this location often? Every previous visit I've gotten glowing white yogurt, a sealed package with berries and another sealed package with granola. Today was different. I got a sealed package with granola as expected but the berries were already in my yogurt. Ok, big deal, I'm starving right...but the yogurt doesn't look white, it looks pink. As if those berries had sat there all night or somebody started to eat it, changed their mind and re-served it to me? Not sure but I took a pic, you be the judge. I let her know that one of the sandwiches I ordered had a hair in it and she replied, "ok." There was about a 5 second pause until I finally had to ask if I was able to get a refund or SOMETHING. She rudely said, "we can't do refunds over the phone you have to come back to the store or I can credit your account." The Brea CFA has messed up our delivery order 2x in a row. Orders were a week apart. Both orders were placed through the CFA app for delivery. The first order was delivered missing our entire kids meal. I phoned the restaurant and told them what happened and was told they would mail a coupon to me. Still yet to be received. Tonight, we received a "dine in" order - different menu items than we wanted. We did not even receive any napkins with our orders. My daughter worked at CFA X1 year and the Brea CFA needs to have their "baggers" and "expo" employees confirm that bagged orders are correct and items for meal consumption are included. Over the last few years, the Brea CFA has declined in several aspects of customer service - especially since key employees have been forced to leave/quit.
