Great experience at this location. Although there's no drive through, curbside was convenient and easy to use. Ordered through the app and food was brought within the time the app forecasted. No drive thru! There is no signage to indicate that there is not a drive thru, which is very annoying as it's a very busy parking lot. They have an abundance of spots for curb side, but again, no signage on the building/on the side of the parking lot that most spots are only for pickup or EV charging [have the curb side signage visible once trying to park with a number to let them know for curbside order]. In addition to a very frustrating layout, I went at 1:45p on a Tuesday, and was shocked at how slow the service was- and they were out of items without indicating on their menu so the line took longer as patrons had to change their order once at the sole cashier. Staff was friendly, but seemed very nervous- all patrons were kind and I did not hear any shouting or criticism; the line took far too long as the cashier was also prepping the drinks as her coworkers stood visible to patrons waiting, seemingly packing orders with items that weren't ready. Takeaway- order curbside if reading this and going to this location; if ordering in store, the only entrance is on the side closest to its famous burger neighbor- and, remember that there is no drive thru [it looks like there is one... there is not and there is very limited space to turn around]. read more

Has to be the most inefficient layout I've ever experienced. Maybe 20 parking spot, then an additional 30 parking spot for pick up only. All regular parking spot were full, but inside was only half full. Parking lot is sliced and diced up, making it extremely confusing on where to park. There are no signs for assistance. No drive through, although many cars thought there was one, getting stuck in a narrow parking area trying to turn around. Who the heck designed this monstrosity? I am an avid Chick fil A Red member. We visited the new location in Carlsbad for the convenience. Our table and underneath floor were dirty. We asked a nice young man to clean and he happily cleaned them. As pleasant as the cashier/order taker was he appeared not to be listening and when we continuous repeated our order, he still got it incorrect. He must have omitted my choice for salad dressing. The food was delivered with the wrong toppings for my salad (were not even close) and no salad dressing and no utensils. We overheard another guest receive a sandwich with no chicken on it. We felt that the quality of food was fine but the quantity seemed to be less than the other Chick fil A restaurants we visit. Unless this location improves their service, we will not be returning. This was such a lovely experience at Chick-fil-A the food was delicious and not to mention the workers are so sweet!! This morning I was having a tough time but when I got there I was welcomed by Zoe she took my order accurately and made sure I was taken care off. Not only that she was incredibly sweet and patient with me and my little kids. She asked me how I was doing which is usually not asked by any fast food workers and wished me a great day which made my mood pick up.
