Also I think they place an egg in an incubator once you place your order and then you wait for the chick to hatch and raised to maturity before it is dispatched, breaded, and fried. My teen son and friend were in a car accident outside this location. When I arrived, I ran over to get the boys some food, mentioned the accident, and the manager provided free meals for the boys. Just want to say thank you- that was such a lovely gesture on a rough night. Thank you. read more

Used to love this location. They asked how many sauces we wanted and got them all wrong. Not a big deal until we realized most of the rest of the order was also incorrect. Ordered a #5 which is an egg, cheese and sausage or bacon biscuit. Then changed the meat to bacon. The girl asked me if I only want bacon, thinking nothing about her last sentence. She repeated only bacon and I said yes. The #5 says bacon or sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. I got the biscuit back with one and 1/2 piece of bacon. I took it back to explain that the order was wrong. She argued with me and never made an attempt to fix it. I go sit down but decide to go to another register and reorder. I haven't had Chick-fil-A in a couple of weeks, so decided to stop and get me a Chick-fil-A combo for a late lunch. I ordered via my app, bummer that they don't have curbside at this location, so I waited in the drive-thru. It was pretty crowded, but the line went fairly quick. I got my order and was on my way. When I got to my location, I was pretty disappointed ... the waffle fries were white, barely cooked/warm. Disgusting, I couldn't even eat them! I tried to call the store, but I got voice mail, so I left a message asking them to make sure that the waffle fries are done before taking them out the fryer. Luckily my sandwich was good! read more

This location is the worst chick fil a in Charleston. I ordered delivery, and they took an hour to bring my "food." When they finally did, they only brought the drinks. My children had to wait another 30-40 minutes to eat. When I called and said hey, are you able to throw in a free order of fries for the inconvenience they said no, you can either take the food or get a refund. The management Cory I think his name was, was extremely rude about the entire situation. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with this chain. Another time they forgot to charge me a measly 1.50 for bacon. Instead of letting it slide, they made me wait an extra 5-10 minutes for my order and said hey we need you to pay the 1.50 for bacon instead of serving me in a timely manner. The fact that they made me wait longer for my food due to their oversight I think is ridiculous. A multi million dollar company couldn't give me a dollar fifty and would rather make me wait longer for my food. I think that's extremely poor service. read more

No argument the food is good--if you get served, I mean. Went to this location to grab something quick before heading over the hospital to greet our new granddaughter. Noticed the drive thru was slammed so decided to go inside and sit. We were the only people in line to order (there was a gentleman waiting for his food). After looking at the menu, we stepped up to the counter and waited. We made eye contact with several workers, but no one came up to the counter. A girl, busily putting together a meal for someone turned to look at us, but after completing her task, simply turned her back to grab another bag to begin filling it. I know different workers have assigned tasks but honestly, a simple smile and a "someone will be right with you" would have kept us happily anticipating our meal. After waiting for five minutes (yes, it does not seem like a long time, unless you are waiting for the simple fast food ordering process in an otherwise uncrowded restaurant), we walked out. Noticed the young couple (who we passed as we were leaving) entering were quickly greeted as they walked up and their order taken immediately. WTF? Did someone finally realize that a customer who can't place an order can't spend money? Have never had a complaint about this chain before--customer service has always been a great experience. SLOW!! The parking and drivethru line is nearly impossible to navigate. The drivethru line can be backed up to Magwood sometimes. Their "SUPER FOOD" is always spoiled and mushy. They don't make it fresh and will keep it for 72 hours before throwing it away and it has been completely rotten!! The new owners, I think their last name is Jacques, have completely ruined the restaurant. They try to get so many people in and out as possible that the employees are obviously very stressed with no manners. They don't smile, don't listen when you order and if they get an order wrong (which they've done several times) they will NOT make it right. The male owner, Mr Jacques had absolutely no manners. He is very condescending and will berate you if you complain about anything, including when I ordered a chicken sandwich and they put one nugget on the sandwich instead of the fillet! Also, I have ordered the 30 piece nugget tray and a few times, they will only give me 2 sauces. That's just rude and ruins the whole meal. The Chick-fil-A on HWY 17 is so much better and have a different owner. At least they care about their customers and don't try to push people out the door before you've finished eating! This was my go-to lunch place for the longest time-perfect sandwiches, hot fries and great service. I don't know what happened but it is now one of the worst. I just walked out for the fourth time in row. They just can't manage the front end volume anymore. The register (single) is just not enough to effectively handle the amount of customers but there are 8-15 people working the endless drive thru traffic. Plus it's almost a Mad Max mentality trying to decide who was actually next when there are 16 people spread out in the lobby area plus anyone who might need something ir a drink refill. Food is great. Expensive. Customer service could be tweeked up a little bit. But the service is pretty fast.

I normally only come here for dinner on my way home from work but I'm not sure about that anymore. 3 times in the past week I have stopped for breakfast. All 3 times my order has been wrong. 1st they gave me water Instead of the soda i ordered ( No biggie). 2nd I ordered a sausage egg and cheese muffin, when I got to work I found a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. And so today I was smart and checked my order, again ordered a number 6 sausage egg and cheese muffin. They gave me a biscuit! I go to this Chick-fil-A location quite often. I have had nothing but good experiences. They are always super friendly. Even when they are busy the lines move quickly and they make the orders accurately. The drive thru line sometimes wraps around the building but it does move quickly. YES!! As a southerner now living outside of Seattle coming to this Chick-fil-A last week was home sweet home for the wife and I. Chick-fil-A goes over the top and should not even be called a fast food restaurant. This location was quick, hot, delicious, and courtesy service of bringing food to our table, refilling our drinks, and clearing away our trash. The worst Chick Fil A in the area. Forgetting items and S. L. O. W. every single time.

I'm a huge Chick-fil-A person I probably eat it around 3-4 times a week but this location is horrible!! To start with I was greeted with disrespect, I know it's hot out but the most important thing is to have respect for you customers. After the rude lady took my order I said thank you and she just didn't reply... where's the "my pleasure"? And then I was told to pull around to the window instead of paying at the umbrella where I then responded "okay thank you" and what do I get back... "no problem" what is this response I miss the my pleasure if there trademark for gods sake. Then I get to the window and receive my sauces and food. I say thank you after a couple of the workers were arguing with each other and they respond with "okay bye".... what the actual heck ITS "MY PLEASURE" then after somewhat getting over the fact that they didn't say "my pleasure" I ate my fries which were a bit soggy but I didn't mind. BUT the real problem was my nuggets... I ordered 6 and there were only 5... I order 6 because 4 is not enough and 8 is too many. Super disappointed in this. I just moved in to Townhomes close to the Magwood Chick-fil-A. In the mail, I received a welcome gift certificate for a complimentary sandwich expiration date 06/30/17 and today I went use it and the associate with a blank look on his face says we don't take paper. I was a little confused and questioned him because I thought he was joking. Another team member stepped in and repeated what he said and told me they couldn't honor it even if it had not expired because they had a new owner.
