This is the only standalone location in the West Ashley area ! The have a variety of options for you to get your food. I do think it would be great to have a different line for mobile through. It defeats the purpose of ordering ahead when you have to continue sitting in the long line! Typical decor snd colors like all chic fila!

Chick Fil A on Magwood is still busy as ever!! The Staff here are well trained and on top of the crazy lunch crowd!! Great location inside to sit and enjoy your meal and very friendly atmosphere. Chicken is always consistent and enjoyable!! Solid 4 Stars !!

Cauliflower sandwich. This is a trial item only available in certain markets and one is Charleston.

This week, I visited Chick-fil-A specifically to try the new "plant-forward" cauliflower sandwich, which is being tested in Charleston, Denver, and Greensboro. When ordering on the app, the time it takes to prepare your order displays, so you'll know when to pick it up at the drive-thru, curbside parking, or walking into the store. I live super close and didn't want to wait, so I tapped that I was already at Chick-fil-A. The app gave an estimate of 4-9 minutes for my single cauliflower sandwich (no sides), which was perfect timing for me to arrive and go inside. This neat feature ensures your food is fresh in case you get delayed in Charleston traffic. To give my body a non-fried vegetable, I added tomato and lettuce, and the cauliflower sandwich was really good. Despite the lack of protein and chicken, the seasoning and cooking method are similar to the original, and that makes the sandwich. CFA doesn't consider this "vegetarian" because it is cooked in the same environment as chicken. Everyone has a different comfort level, and I was fine with that, as the dish doesn't contain meat. The bread is buttered, so if you don't eat butter, request a non-buttered roll. I typically come to Chick-Fil-A for desserts, as none of them contain chicken (ha!). If you want a healthier plant-based option, the app lets you order a salad without the chicken, but I'd order the cauliflower again.

This is by far the worst Chic in the area. Very poorly managed and ran. The one in the mall is better than this one. Never order a large fry or drink from this place. They will only be 1/2 to 2/3 full at best. My wife just picked up an order from here as I will no longer go to this location. See pic of my "large" fry. This is the one Chic location where you better check your bag at the drive through. It's probably incorrect. Very poorly run. Needs new management

    Hairy nugget.

They normally get it right but occasionally they get it way wrong. I've had missing items, wrong items, and a hairy nugget. I've contacted the store via private FB message and still heard nothing back. Nothing. Something isn't right about that.

Gotta get that Polynesian Sauce and Honey Mustard Sauce

My favorite East Coast Fast Food Chain by leagues. It's been a while since the completed renovation and they did a superb job of keeping the lines and ordering counter separate from the dining area. The current team here works seamlessly together in a busy machine that puts all other places in the Quick Service category to shame. Their staff is diverse, friendly, and reflect the core values of the company in having the willingness to and fulfillment in service. Bravo! That, along with real chicken breast, light breading, and the use of the superior Peanut Oil for frying make this chicken sandwich king. Simple perfection that others have tried to emulate. Let's talk sauces. Where others charge extra for lower quality sauce product, Chick Fil A has more options that are complimentary (or more likely built into the price of menu items-smart!) Personal favorites are the Honey Mustard, Polynesian, and of am feeling splurgey, the Chick Fil A Sauce. Download & use their App to score points towards redeemable menu items. ($1=10 points) They rack up quick, and the App is very user-friendly. Most importantly, must add that I have never felt disgusting or heavy after enjoying a bite of this quick service. Am a Chick Fil A lifer for sure! Xo

This is the brownie I received today. Hard and definitely not presentable.

Food quality is excellent. Can get crowded. Use the chic-fil-app and you can walk right in and get your food!

Our son ordered the Hog Dog, (hot dog with pulled pork) my wife ordered the Fat Boy burger, and I ordered the country fried steak. Their order came with fries and I ordered mashed potatoes and coleslaw with my dinner. Hush puppies and a corn muffin came with my meal. It took about 25-30 minutes for our meal to arrive. My dinner was delicious. Country fried steak was tender and crispy. Mashed potatoes had chunks which I like, the coleslaw was creamy with great taste, hush puppies were fantastic, and the only disappointment was the corn muffin was not warm. My wife loved her burger. Our son enjoyed the hog dog. Service was adequate. For me considering that the food was cooked to,order, I was quite satisfied with the service and the food.

You order, they plate it, you pay and either take it to go or to sit in the small dining area. Service is very quick and efficient, and you can tell there are a lot of regulars who come here because the staff joked and laughed with them as they waited in line. Speaking of the line, it moved fast but while we were there a woman came around with a tray and offered little cups of brightly colored something. I chose red and was delighted to see it was a frozen punch, red is cherry. My friend got orange and he said it was like a mango or peach flavor. I ordered the fried chicken, with cabbage and red rice. The cabbage was absolute fire, it was so tender and delicious. The red rice was good, but a bit on the dry side. I feel like had I been there when a fresh pan was brought out it would have been a lot better. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and had a flaky crust but it needed salt and the tables did not provide any. I would come back, there are so many other things I would love to try and this place is busy for a reason.

So we took an Uber there on our way to the airport, luggage and backpacks and all. The line was to the door. Most people get their food to go but there are a handful of tables in the dining room. We parked ourselves and our bags at one by the front wall and settled in for our fried porkchops and fried chicken, lima beans, cabbage, red rice, mac and cheese, and corn bread. And while we waited for our food, one of the kitchen staff walked around passing out free frozen punch. It was good! This was the perfect choice for our last meal in Charleston. We were in and out in 45 minutes, full and satisfied. The only thing is we are still confused about pricing. We think there was an error because somehow we paid $29 for one meal and $19 for the other. Can't be right...but we didn't have time to sort all that out. Pay it forward.

I got the Chicken Shawarma Platter since that's what I saw mentioned the most in reviews. The chicken with dry, the "garlic sauce" was basically mayo, the rice was also dry and wasn't necessarily a flavor I would pick. There was one dolmas (even though the menu says 2), and it was good (to be fair, I didn't say anything about it). I imagine their greek salad would be good because the small side salad on the plate was good. For $16 though, it was pretty disappointing. When I think platter, I think more like sharing size, but this was pretty comparable to most places one person meal. I didn't finish it, but mostly because it was really dry and didn't taste great. We also got fried pickles (okay, but pretty greasy and they could really use some kind of dipping sauce), the hubs got the Ribeye Philly, he said it needed some kind of sauce and that he didn't feel the need to come back, so... nothing noteworthy. The kids got chicken fingers and fries. They polished off the fries (they were good!) but left most of the chicken fingers, I didn't try them, so... and lastly, the ambiance... if I had to pick between here and somewhere like Kairos, I'd pick Kairos... it's cleaner, they have music going, and my kids like to watch the videos of people making the kairos food. Med Diner has no music, the vibe is a bit weird (like someone cut out the middle back of all the chairs with like a saw or something), it feels a little thrown together and sad. I saw a handful of people go through the drive through while we were there, so maybe there's just something else they are better known for and we hit an off day. Just not my vibe.

I visited Israel for the first time last year, and the atmosphere here was dead on, from the small child sweeping up out front, to the rather chatty sales pitch I got when I walked in, to the cuisine itself. I will say that I was a bit miffed that I thought from that conversation that I would be getting a hummus with falafel but I ended up with some pickled vegetables that I didn't really want. Nonetheless, the creaminess of the hummus, the parsley flavor that came out of my very green falafel, and the strong tahini note at the end were all winners. Having paid for an extra pita I was glad as it was just enough to get it all without a spoon. I also got a cake which was a thin wafer with a coffee-flavored icing and again a very nutty tahini flavor. I'd come back just for that. I was sad when the previous hummus place in downtown Charleston closed; the region could use something of this nature. And they appear to have a successful restaurant.
