Decided to eat in the restaurant with my three year old daughter instead of driving through. Food was great, manager was not. There is some antiquated system they have attached under the tables, all tables, that must be 20 years old. They flip up and not sure what they are for. Of course they are where a high chair goes and my daughter flipped it up. The manager came over and started reprimanding that I need to tell her to leave it alone. I told her it keeps flipping up and I've already told her not to mess with it but it's poking her and won't stay down. Here is a great idea manager witch, remove them off your old ass tables? I was blown away by the reviews and the one person who left one star because they didn't get a sauce packet with their delivery, Yelp isn't for you. Anyways, back to this location. They're definitely doing it right here. The drive thru lines are always long, but they have two drive through lanes, plus people outside assisting to get you through faster. I ordered the #7 grilled chicken club from Mya. Such friendly service from this person. I also like when they credit you back after you remove an item off your sandwich, not many places do this. The gluten free bun comes in an individually wrapped bag but the bun itself needs some work. Only thing I wasn't a fan of. There has to be something a better than this one, like dried up cardboard. Other than that, the sandwich was good. Food was out fast, price was reasonable. They don't charge you for sauces. The staff engagement was positive. You guys and gals are getting a lot of nasty reviews, but I know you can keep delivering on service. No major problems here. read more

The absolute worst Chick fil A ever. Received my order via Postmates and my sauce that I asked for was NOT in the bag. They told her that everything was in the bag. Not her fault as the bags are sealed ( as they should be) so that the customers know that their order wasn't tampered with. I tried to call more than once as this is something that they need to work on, and of course no answer. I will definitely be writing a letter to corporate as we frequent this place in a regular. The Fresh Hot Food and Excellent Service makes me drive to this location regardless of the distance ... Regardless if it's a pandemic going on chick fil a employees still demonstrate such a excellence in customer service. Wearing mask , being patient with the line that's about 2 miles long and not to mention the workers standing outside courteously greeting people from afar ... The feelings of appreciation and great food makes it ok to sit in line to wait because you know for sure the food will be hot and fresh , the order will be accurate and nothing will be missing from your bag. Last night I visited this location at approximately 9:50pm. According to my receipt photographed in this review the timestamp states10:04pm in which I assume was when my order was bagged but I could be wrong. I got home to realize that we were not given a salad nor a peppermint shake. I tried calling as soon as we noticed to make them aware of this, but as I expected, there was no answer since the restaurant closes at 10pm. I honestly wouldn't have answered after hours either so no issue there at all. This evening as I was making my way home once again, I decided to stop back in to order more food and to attempt to have the missing items replaced or refunded. The associate who took my order remembered me from working the window last night but tonight he was working the drive and taking food orders. He comes back out to inform me that the manager denied replacing or refunding my missing items from last night. I thanked him and let him know that I would speak with the manager once I got to the window. Brandon the "shift manager" came to the window and confirmed that he indeed would not be able to refund or replace the items that were not given to me since I didn't call and report it last night. I let him know that I tried to call but didn't get an answer, showed him the timestamp on my receipt to help him better understand but he still refused to make the situation right. I would like for cameras to be reviewed as well. To add to the frustration, when I got home tonight, they gave us a chicken noodle soup instead of chicken tortilla AND the fries and nuggets were cold. =-/ two nights in a row with service that you would NOT expect from Chick Fil A. By far the worst location in the metroplex. Quality of food is not good. I've been here several times for breakfast and lunch. Ive even sent feedback to the number in the receipts and have never been contacted. I don't know if it's because it's a crappy neighborhood. But the service at this chick-fil-a is not anywhere near up to par with what you expect service wise from chick-fil-a. Mind you. This review is based off multiple visits to this location both pre covid and during covid, so it's not like I'm being overly harsh off one bad experience. Multiple occasions they've messed up my orders, they've forgotten drinks, sauces, or got something wrong. Ok, honest mistakes happen. Not the end of the world. But when you get annoyed, indifferent attitudes from employees each time (over a mistake they made), that's just poor training and customer service. Chick-fil-a is supposed to be known for exceptional customer service. I would expect the crappy service from other places, but not from Chick-fil-a. The drive thru here is also completely unorganized. Likely a big cause of why orders keep getting messed up. All in all. Management at this location needs to take notes and look at what surrounding locations are doing right, and what they're doing wrong. I hate to do it but this location has been consistently slipping over the last couple of years. The drive thru is PAINFULLY slow and the service is just not what I expect from CFA. For example, the play area does not have hand wipes for the kids, and they never offer to comp food when they have issues (extremely long waits, tech issues with the equipment, etc.). This location also messed up my order of a standard egg white grill. They forgot the egg! It was really sad because I didn't realize it until I got to the office. This was my first Chick-fil-A experience and I'm hooked! I ordered an 8-piece box of Chick-fil-A nuggets with polynesian sauce. I was surprised to taste and see that the chicken was actually REAL chicken ( i.e. not that mysterious ground chicken meat at McDonald's.) Each piece was flavorful and juicy. Delicious! This must be the only chick-fil-a in DeSoto. The drive thru is always pouring onto the street. And there are two lanes to place your order but there always seems to be only one lane open. Especially during the busiest time of day. The employees are nice but there seems to be no sense of urgency. I'm use to the location in Mesquite where one person is handing you your food while another person is taking your money. I'm use to someone standing outside taking orders. Ordinarily when I come to this location I go inside because it's always faster. But it was raining and I had the baby and I didn't want to get him wet. This location is slow.
