This location is within walking distance of my house which makes it a convenient fast choice when in a hurry. This Chick-Fil-A looks fairly new and is in clean condition. There are booths, tables, and high top tables inside and several tables with umbrellas outside as well. The drive thru is a double drive thru and the loud speakers are crisp and clear. This is a unique drive thru because you actually approach the building in two different lines. There are two separate stations that people work at delivering food and drinks and it looks like the food actually goes over the first line and drops to the second station for the second line -- pretty cool! As always, Chick-Fil-A's food is a step above normal fast food. I've always loved their grilled chicken sandwich, lemonade, and their salads. While it is a bit pricier than other fast food, it seems to be a better quality as well. Don't forget to get a refill on your drink when you eat in the store and return any unused sauces! Also, I love getting a kid's meal when I'm not super hungry, it's a great deal for pretty much the same amount of food, and you can get ice cream instead of a toy! The staff at this location is very friendly and I haven't had a mistake in my order yet. They're fast, efficient, and kind. Glad to have this restaurant right around the corner! read more

Wow Brock who helped me out, pretty sure was the manager, really out did any bad chick fil la experience I have ever. I came through the drive though and got a number 1 meal, somehow I got one with cheese on it when I checked when I was home. Due to me being allergic, I called for a refund since i was pretty far away. Brock offered to bring me everything to my door and he so did. Chick-fil-A has a great reputation for amazing customer service, well trained staff, common courtesy and best of all great food. - All that reputation is puked into the preverbal gutter like an over eager teen on prom night! Pathetic, rude and disrespectful order taking. Snatched my card from me to take payment. Gave my card back and I turn to the passenger side to put my wallet in the center console, only to turn back to find the bag in my face - the attendant had reached into my car and was dangling the bag above my lap and all but smacked me in the face with it. All this pissed me off but for the most part - this is the type of treatment I have come to expect from entitled brats these days. The worst part - old, cold, and seemingly stale nuggets and fries. I am so glad I can finally give this place 4 stars. This was my fifth time coming to this location-- and it seems like the staff actually care about their jobs. My husband and I ordered a cool wrap, a spicy chicken sandwich, and 2 fries. The food was delivered to our table very quickly, and the fries were so fresh and yummy! After our meal, we decided we wanted to split a large strawberry milkshake. The manager said he couldn't divide it into two cups. So we ended up getting 2 smalls! (honestly im kind of glad because I got to have 4 more ounces of DELICIOUSNESS) Overall, it was a great experience. We just ordered breakfast Chick-fil -A at the Colfax and Garfield location 11.26.18 9:00 a.m. The breakfast minis, 12 piece nuggets and waffle fries, etc., because I don't like the hash browns. This chick-fil-a location is absolutely terrible about the sauces. I go with my two roommates and all three of us order around 9 or 10 entrees in total and they only give us TWO SAUCES for the entire order. When we ask for more we get maybe one or two extra if we are lucky. This has happened on 3 separate occasions and is obviously the owners direction. They are just being extremely cheap. I recently had one of the most traumatic experiences of my life at this place. I went in with my wife and I should mention that I let her have the booth seat, which means everyone but her was either behind me or to my side. When they brought us our food, they forgot our fries, so I went up to the counter to ask for them and the guy said they'd bring them out to us in a minute. Then a different person came out with the fries and asked the group sitting at a table near us if the fries were theirs. A clearly homosexual guy who was sitting there with some young girls politely said, "I think those are actually supposed to go to the ladies sitting at that table." He pointed toward my wife and I without looking our way and then went on with his conversation. I have a beard... but I also have long hair, no muscles, and very effeminate posture, so I accepted this honest yet humiliating mistake, waited for my wife's laughter to subside, and attempted to move forward with my life. Later, as we were finishing up our meal, there was an older female worker sweeping the floor near me. She accidentally hit my chair with her broom and said, "I'm sorry, Ma'am." At this point, even I started to question my gender. My wife started laughing so hard that the people at the table near us looked over. I looked up at the worker and once she saw my bearded face she apologized and looked very embarrassed. I told her in a depressed tone that it wasn't the first time someone had made that mistake and not to worry about it. One of the girls at the nearby table saw what was going on and explained to her gay friend that I had now been mistaken for a woman by both the broom lady and him and seemed upset about it. The gay guy then denied calling me a woman to his platonic girlfriend and they started arguing quietly (unfortunately not quietly enough for me not to hear them). Let's just say the excruciating awkwardness combined with my wife's uncontrollable, obnoxious chortles made me less than able to fully enjoy my spicy chicken sandwich... Bottom line: Had the fries come out with the rest of our food like they were supposed to, I would still be blissfully ignorant to the fact that I appear to be a female even in a gay man's eyes, and we would have probably finished our meal and left before the broom lady came over and made the same mistake. This means that Chick-Fil-A is at least 100% responsible for one of the most traumatic experiences I've ever had in my life. Is a 4-star review enough to teach them a lesson? Probably not, which is why I plan to remember this next time I'm tempted to take more ketchup packets than I need for my waffle fries. With that said, I must say the food was great as always, and if you haven't tried their Chick-Fil-A sauce, you're really missing out. read more

But once someone notified the manager they came over and cleaned it up quickly. We ordered two sets of the brand new grilled nuggets. And apparently the grilled nuggets got forgotten about or take too long to cook, we waited maybe 5 minutes at most and someone had come out to apologize to us for the wait and handed us a coupon for 2 free chicken sandwiches. I love Chick Fil A. This new one has a ways to go before the service and food is up to par though. First, they get my order wrong much of the time. Second, when they first opened the chicken nuggets were too well-done. And once the coleslaw wasn't made well--it didn't have much juice and wasn't as sweet. First time hitting up this mid-west chain: had super-low expectations and was blown away! I got the regular Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich without pickles, which came with a fried chicken fillet on a buttered bun. Talk about comfort food! It tasted well-battered and well-seasoned, and like it was cooked in clean, fresh peanut oil. I did find a bone in mine, which wasn't exactly a pleasant surprise, but at least I know it's real chicken! I also ordered their waffle fries-- super yummy! Great texture and flavor-- unsalted as far I could tell which makes you feel just a liiiiittle healthier. I wonder how people cut potatoes into waffle fries? I had their fresh-made lemonade to drink-- holy cow! What a treat! It's a little pulpy, so might not be a hit with the kids, but it's still perfect! Everyone was so, so hospitable, from the cashier to the food deliverer to the manager (who gave my friend and I coupons for free food next time!).
