I received an email from Snarf's last week announcing a PSA (Public Sandwich Alert). They have brought back their Cubano sandwich for the summer only. It's made with slow roasted pork, sweet ham, provolone, spicy mustard and crunchy pickles. I spiced it up with hot peppers. A cross between Corned Beef and Italian. I ordered at the counter and waited for them to call my name. I had a bit of wait because this location does lots of takeout. The dining area was clean with funky 1960's and 1970's music been played. This store is on the east end of the Mayfair shoppette that opened in the 1950's. Snarf's continues to seek out fanciful locations. read more

By far the best Snarfs I have been to in Denver. I ordered online but when I went into the shop, they were kind, polite and greeted me immediately. My order was ready in like 10 minutes- the place was exceptionally clean- much more say than others I have been to in the city. -1 Star due to bad brown avocado. I tried to salvage what I could but it was brown on both sides with little black dots throughout. Disappointed that this was served on a "fresh" salad. Overall everything was really tasty for what you expect from a salad/sandwich shop. I especially loved the white bread on the Mother Clucker. You could tell it was fresh, and it wasn't overwhelming with ratio to meats and everything else. I've never had the Zapp's chips before but they were worth a try. It's like a blend of BBQ and Salt & Vinegar chips IMO. The brownie was also nice, not rock hard or stale, but moist and sweet. First time visiting and I'd like to go back again, but hopefully the avocado will be better as we were jipped this time. read more

Love trying a new sandwich place! My go to is always Italian and wasn't disappointed. Bread was very fresh and the best part for me. Service was fast after ordering through Uber eats. Store is cute with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Surrounding area off Colfax is not great but getting better as lots of new shops move in. I love snarfs! This location has always been great. It was super busy on a Friday night. There were only two people working and they were busting their butts. The tall skinny kid with curly hair was excellent and orchestrating the whole process. The manager needs to acknowledge the people who worked in there on August 23 Friday night because they were definitely a little shortstaffed when they could've afforded to hire another person. It's nice to be at home when you're the franchise owner, knowing you're making money, but these kids busted their butts so have a little empathy and let them know how much you appreciate them for paying your mortgage. What a TERRIBLE addition to the neighborhood I placed an online order for pickup ASAP - one sub - and after placing order it said ready in 32 minutes! I called in and asked if it could be ready sooner - they said no and even though I gave them the name on the order they never even checked to see if they received it. I checked and my credit card WAS charged. So then I show up 30 minutes later and they say they never got the order!! But again - my card was charged. They wouldn't fix the problem at that time, and told me to wait for a manager's phone call Waste of time, total scam, avoid this place. I'm a Snarf's fan. We needed something like this in the area, which is starting to pick up with more food options. I've found ordering ahead to be easier and faster than ordering there, and my food has been ready when I've arrived for my pickup orders. The menu is pretty good, though it can be a little confusing to some with the "other" menu that is offered. Just combine it into one big menu and we're all set. Sandwiches use good quality ingredients and come toasted, which is a nice touch. They can get a bit pricey, sure, but isn't everything nowadays? read more

This may be my favorite sandwich- ever. The Italian just the way it is; Bread is chewy and crunchy and not doughy- at all. Love the staff. You can't help but Snarf the entire thing up. Excellent first visit to this Snarf! Folks here were very nice and accommodating with positive customer service. Parking is fairly plentiful but I can see the lot filling up quickly at peak hours regarding all the new stores that have opened. Have only been 1x to another Snarf and it appears that the company has maintained high standards with this, the Mayfair location. We ordered two seven inch sandwiches, delicious, but like everywhere else, prices are getting outrageous due to the fault of the government and it's policies. I won't blame Snarf for this but when you're paying sixteen bucks each for a sandwich, well ... push will come to shove. I blame this on the govt's policies! read more

I have been meaning to try Snarf's for a while now. My schedule recently has pretty much mandated stopping to get something quick and getting back to work, so I finally made it in. Delicious! The bread is crispy on the outside and chewy and yummy on the inside. I had a turkey and Swiss on white, with all the trimmings. I'm not typically a sandwich person, but the shredded lettuce, spicy peppers and all kinds of different and flavorful textures make for a really nice treat. I love the fact that the sandwich is toasted and warm on the outside too. They have a great selection of really good potato chips, beverages, all kinds of options for sandwiches and GF bread too, if you need it. The folks behind the counter are nice and do a great job. They also offer some good looking salads, so when I'm not quite as addicted to their sandwiches, I'll probably give those a try too. Definitely worth the stop! read more

I was befuddled by the toppings choosing section so got some things I definitely didn't want, plus, confusingly, some toppings I did. Normally, I think Snarfs is awesome. But I've been to this location twice and both times was disappointed. First time got the California sandwich. It was all bread and barely any meat or toppings inside plus the avocado that was barely there, was brown. Got a sandwich just this Friday night thinking the last time was a fluke, I got a bread sandwich again! Let me preface this by sharing that I love Snarf's despite not patronizing Snarf's for years. The service was exceptional here. The speed and care which my sandwich was delivered was impressive. What wasn't impressive was how underseasoned my premium priced prime rib & provolone was. No evidence of cheese and no flavor. Yikes! This was disappointing to the maximum to the tune of an $18 sandwich. It was large but doubly disappointing eating the leftovers which reminded us of how poor this sandwich was made, again. I wanted to love this place and I did, until I didn't. I have ordered on line 5-6 times, rushed in and out and it was always good. Ordered again on line and had to wait which caused me to look at their prep table. Big mistake, the prep table looked like someone threw up not once but twice, maybe three times all over it. Coolers looked like a lettuce bomb went off, shredded lettuce, stuck all over, floor trashed. I got my sandwich and tossed it in the trash when leaving. If they are doing this then you know they couldn't care less about holding temps or sanitation practices. I have never seen a total disregard of sanitation like this. read more
