I am a Chick-fil-A virgin no more! I received a card in the mail for a free sandwich, so I tried them out. Feeling a little like a cheapskate for just getting the sandwich, I ordered fries too. I tried the basic chicken sandwich, which, to my surprise, came with only pickles. I though that was a little weird. I was expecting mayo, lettuce and tomato. No biggie, though, I would have picked off the veggies and probably scraped off most of the mayo anyways. As it was, I removed the pickles. I was expecting a very crunchy breading, and more of it than chicken, but NO! I got a nice, thick piece of chicken. It wasn't dried out like I thought it would be, either. The breading was just right and complimented the chicken rather than being the only thing I tasted. The fries were waffle fries! What?!?! Cool! Haven't had those in ages. Perfect. Not slimy, not overcooked. They cooled off quite a bit, though, on my short drive home. That is my only complaint, but, they're fries with lots of holes in them, so duh! They're gonna cool off a lot faster. I love this place so much! They absolutely have the best chicken I've ever had and maybe ever will have. The grilled chicken is so flavorful and I love that they have waffle fries. I just went through the drive-through about 10 minutes ago. I ordered a number five, a sausage and egg cheese biscuit meal. Well upon me getting home, I found they gave me a cheese, egg and bacon muffin meal. If I wanted a sausage McMuffin or an Egg McMuffin, I would've went to McDonald's. Not to mention that the muffin was burned and it tasted like garbage. The hashbrowns tasted like they were old and were either put in the microwave or were just dropped back into the deep fryer. I get it, it's fast food, but they got the completely wrong order and the wrong order just tasted horrible. Next time I will either go to McDonald's or a sit down restaurant and take the extra time. We don't have any Chick-Fil-A locations near home, so I was excited to be able to visit one on a trio to Milwaukee. I have high expectations for any Chick-Fil-A and this location exceeded them! The restaurant was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious as always, being fresh, moist, and full of flavor. The service was even better. Could Have Been Excellent, Poorly Executed... I want to like Chick-fil-A. Everyone else does. Just did not have the greatest first experience. Went in for a later lunch, so maybe this is where my problem lies. That is, coming at an "off" time around 2:30 PM. I decided to go with the chicken tenders. No, that is not the chicken sandwich they are famous for, but chicken none the less. I'm excited. Food got to the table as we were sitting down. Now usually I would say "Wow, fast service!", but that really didn't apply here. It was fast to the point that clearly it had been sitting under a warmer, both fries and strips. I don't know about you, but I don't like a soggy chicken strip. I really don't like soggy anything! Well, that's exactly what I got. 3 very rubbery, non crispy strips with a side of rubbery, non crispy fries (all lukewarm mind you). Just sad! So much hype, so much excitement, for some soggy food. Sad Face. I thought to myself, LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS TODD, it's fast food. BUT, other places do this right. Culver's for example will make me wait a few minutes for food, but it comes out piping hot and freshly made. At Chick-fil-A the flavors were there, just poorly executed. I would gladly wait 5-10 minutes for my food to be made fresh! There is no way I'm the first customer to think this, I'm just surprised at the overall positive response to the food. It wasn't all bad...I did like the sauce selection, the cleanliness of the place overall, the option to sit outside on the little patio. Bathroom very clean and even had mouthwash for after meal. What a concept! I'm not saying I won't try it again, I will. It's just that my expectations have been lowered considerably. I've long had a weakness for Chick-fil-A since discovering their unique fast-food sandwich back in my first attempt at college in North Carolina. Unavailable in Chicago or Milwaukee city for a long time, I would only dream about their chicken sandwiches, which was better for both my waistline and cholesterol levels anyway. If you know the long distances you have to traverse when connecting in ATL (Atlanta's huge and busy airport), you understand stress in air travel. I can't tell you how many times I've worried as my incoming flight was late, the connecting flight I had to jump on inevitably on the far side of the massive airport, only to have the departure gate change after running over there...and yet, more than once I've stopped for a Chick-fil-A I didn't have time for, even missing my connecting flights. One time I actually made myself late for a job interview. I haven't admitted that to anyone until now, but you need the total context here. I was pleasantly surprised to find them in the Milwaukee suburban area, but then had to boycott them for the public homophobia of the owner. Then, I saw a couple of my gay friends pull into THIS VERY Chick-fil-A! Okay, just one gay couple, but I have such a weakness for these sandwiches I decided this was my permission to give up the boycott. Then, there's this one more test of my unhealthy passion for Chick-fil-A, and that is the grating excessive ebullience and exuberance of the scripted responses and dialogue you get from greetings to thank you, it's easily the most annoying customer service in the fast food industry. Food is good for fast food. Service is excellent. Server comes to table asking if need refill on beverage, etc. This is a new, free standing building so its clean and attractive. I like the fresh flowers vs fake ones that so many places use. I'm not a fan of most French fries but if I'm going to eat them, I want waffle fries. Theirs are good. read more

This location's customer service game is on point. My family and I stopped in here for a quick bite a few days ago. We ordered, paid, sat down, and waited... and waited... while no food came out. After watching a few families, who arrived noticeably later than we did, receive their food, my fiancé went to see what was going on. Apparently they forgot our order. Oops! The food came to our table less than a minute later, with several coupons for free food AND a complete refund for our dinner. We didn't ask for any special treatment, just our food. I've been driving through this Chick-Fil-A on my way home from work a couple times a month. I usually visit late (8-9pm) for dinner service, yet the chicken is typically fresh and the service is friendly. They have the best vanilla milkshake around. My boyfriend and I went through the drive thru around 9PM last night. The drive thru is ALWAYS packed, but without the lobby opened (COVID-19) the line was insanely long, wrapping around the building and into the next stores parking lot. I was just so blown away impressed just now at this 76th Street Chick-fil-A that I had to pull over and post about it! My daughter wanted a root beer float which you may know is not on the menu. And they said, "No problem. We have root beer and ice cream and will be happy to make that for her". When does that ever happen in a Drive-Thru? Then to top it off, I needed to clear all my coffee trash from my console to make room for the beverages and he holds a wastepaper basket out the window for me to throw my personal garbage away! This location is no different, all of the staff here are super friendly and the food is great. Nothing beats their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. This is a great spot to go to especially during quarantine. The only issue I have with Chick-fil-a is it's kinda expensive but it's not a huge issue. You need to pressure wash the sidewalk leading from the delivery door. This sidewalk can be seen by customers in your drive thru and it is soooo nasty from spillage of food and/or drink from deliveries. It's really gross especially right outside the door. This is something that smells and something drive thru customers should not have to see as they are picking up their meals. Again, gross! Probably should pressure wash this area at least once per month. Looks like it's never been cleaned. As for the entire property, very poorly designed layout. Why would you place the door for your deliveries where the deliverer has to go right thru your drive thru? Who was the idiot architect on this? You could have moved the restaurant south about 100-150 feet and made for a much better drive thru and put the delivery door where it's not in the drive thru lane. Your drive thru is also a disaster where you are trapped and cannot leave should you need to get out of line for an emergency or if the line is too long and you do not have time to wait, i.e. you have to get back to work because you are running short on time for your lunch break or there is an emergency or something that you need to do all of the sudden. It's hard to believe that Chick-fil-A corporate approved this layout. I grew up with Chick-fil-A in Atlanta and they are known for being much more intelligent and meticulous than this. read more

I'm from TX and Chick-fil-a is all over the place and they have their act together. When done well, this place is the best. That's why they built a drive through to handle 20 cars and a holding area with sofas for folks who order at the inside counter. The wait for me both times I have been here was 22 minutes in the drive thru and 20 minutes in the dining room. When I ate in the dining room, my biscuit was cold and undercooked. I think if you must keep customers waiting so long, the food must be perfection. We haven't gotten there yet. I'm bummed, because I was so excited that Chick-fil-a was coming to town.
