Great service, and great food! We come here at least once a month. I love the Cobb salad with the spicy chicken filet, with avocado lime ranch dressing topped with crispy red bell pepper, yum! Order the fries well-done, you won't regret it. Another menu item favorite is the spicy chicken deluxe with pepper jack, and add some chick-fil-A sauce. We came at 12:30PM on a Saturday. The ordering line went very fast, about 20 seconds. The cashier was super friendly and very helpful. We were in line 1 to wait for our food. It took 6 minutes to receive our food from the moment we ordered. My daughter ordered an original chicken nugget kids meal sub Mac and cheese and a chocolate shake. She said, she doesn't think she's ever had a shake that good in her life. The Mac and cheese, was really good, rich cheese flavor with al dente noodles. She said the Nuggets were better than McDonalds and had a great crunch. I ordered the original chicken sandwich, large waffle fries, Root beer and 4 Chick-fil-A sauces. Ummmm Chick-fil-A sauce is AMAZING!!!! I put that on everything. 1 small complaint, I only got 2 little pickles. That may be my rookie mistake. I'll order extra pickles next time! I was very confused about how ordering here works. I figured out where to order but I went through the whole line but I was still confused. A guy said that I can go to him to order. Until the manager said "You have to back to the back of the line" when there was a single person in line and two cashiers open. I was first in line but we just went through the whole line. They just opened so I will pardon the extremely long line in the food court. I came for my birthday brownie so they took my order and I waited in the line with all of the rest of the cattle. Thankfully someone saw it was just a brownie and they brought it to me in the line. The brownie was nice and moist, fudgey and delicious. My first time to try Chik Fil A at Ala Moana Center. I had to stand in one line to order. After the employee took my order and payment, then I had to line up in line 1 to wait for my name to be called. After about at least five minutes, my order was ready. If you have someone to find a place to sit while waiting for your order, that would be preferable. The order was correct. I got my grilled chicken sandwich, waffle fries, iced tea and catsup and honey mustard sauce. You may want to ask for more napkins than what they give you. At least, I always need more napkins. The grilled chicken was okay, nothing special. Good thing for the sauce, it helped to add moistness to the chicken. Taste wise, it was just okay. I liked the waffle fries. It was rather crunchy and at least it was not served cold. Would I go back again? I don't think that I would go back soon. I'll wait until the end of next year to try it again. Then continue in the same Lane where' they ask your name and give you your order at the counter. Chicken Spicy Deluxe meal was okay. Sorry not as juicy and crispy as mainland Chick-fil-A. The counter is very busy so it's not easy to get someone's attention. after walking up to the front of the line, ppl waiting don't seem to like that i walked up to the front. I was in my car waiting for my wife to do some Christmas shopping when I decided to grab a sandwich at the new Chick-fil-A in Ala Mona. Lots of workers. Very efficient system considering being in a very busy food court. I ordered a Chickfila deluxe sandwich. Simple. Lines were long but I got my order pretty quick. Walked back to my car and opened my to go bag. It wasn't until then I realized they threw in a regular Chickfila sandwich instead. I figured it was my fault for assuming a simple order couldn't have been screwed up. I would have left it at that if this thing looked even half of what the picture on their website looked. The chicken in my sandwich was 1/4 of the size it should have been. The sandwich was so dry that I had to look underneath the underwhelming chicken patty to confirm there was any sauce. I came as a tourist here, and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Chick-fil-A. The staff treated me poorly, and I felt disrespected during my visit. Additionally, I was uncomfortable as an 18-year-old tourist who was fat-shamed for my weight. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming, and I left feeling disheartened. So, first time ever having Chick-fil-A, and lines were short (really, non existent) today at Ala Moana so I thought I'd give it a try. Doing a breakdown... Ordering - first negative, I don't like that they have been able to basically take over part of the dining space to set up a row of "drive thru" check-ins, but it makes it more efficient. This matches my negative view of the other store - we are all inconvenienced by this particular chain is a refrain I've heard from the mainland and now fully believe it. I hope Ala Moana is at least charging them extra rent (for those of us stuck dealing with them on King Street - I'm still lobbying for that lane to be a toll lane or extra city tax lane). The food - again, first, time, so the fried chicken sandwich with all the extras, which basically turned into a nasty/bruised single slice of questionable lettuce, quickly thrown to the side, and an okay but similarly dubious tomato. The chicken was on point, super taste, fresh, and the pickles made me wish I had ordered extra pickles instead do the up-level to add an ugly lettuce leave and probably not from here tomato slice. Clicking down a level, the waffle fries were perfection. I don't know if they make them fresh here, but it had that perfect fresh cooked potato taste, crumbly, crisp at the edges, and a very light salt touch. I had a few sauce packets, but haven't had these kind of waffle fries here before and just enjoyed them as they were. It's a big serving, maybe like 1.5 potatoes and all just perfect. I did the sweet tea, and it was a lot like sweet teas I'm used to here, but heavy duty Lipton (in a good way) and a balanced hand with the sugar. It tasted like it was made in the back, not from some giant 5g jug shipped in. Overall - I noticed most of those really enjoying it were from the mainland, lots of military and families, kinda makes sense since I'd probably call this "mainland South soul food." For me, Jollibee is significantly better, but that is definitely a local preference. Bottom line - would I eat at Chick-fil-A again? To be honest, not really - I don't get the mainland craze, didn't think it was wow worthy to go back, but nice to give it a try. If you have friends or family visiting from the mainland, this is an easy "comfort stop" for them. For me - Jollibee is across the way. Personal view - I'm being generous with 4 stars, since so many seem to love them. But my takeaway was it's a 2 for me, not really going back again. read more

The person who were giving out the order dont wait until she's done with the first order, and go to the next one( which is supposed to be) After almost an hour of waiting i went to her and asked to double check our order, she checked and told me our order got called but nobody picked up so they just let it sit there. I like the day to day operational procedure of Chic Fil A; quick service, attentive and friendly servers. The workstations seem to be organized and in good sanitary condition. However I find the sandwich is s a little bit too salty. Reminds me of KFC but with more salt in it sandwiched in two buns.
