This location has been renovated and it's really nice inside. Since I was nearby, I decided to dine in for lunch. I used my reward for 5 free nuggets and I also ordered a medium fry with no salt. When my food was brought out to me there was salt on my fries (a lot) and I only had a 4 piece nugget. Sigh Service is consistently good ... it's the dna of Chick-fil-A! Unfortunately, the food was disappointing.....

This Chick-Fil-A is located off one of Vestavia's main roads so it gets a lot of traffic. Thankfully, the parking lot and drive thru lanes are pretty big and mostly accommodate. I typically order through the app so I appreciate the quick and friendly service from their team. Even when I've gone during peak lunch hours they were still upbeat and helpful. My food has always been hot and I haven't had any issues with incorrect orders. The property tends to be clean and welcoming, making parking and driving thru an easy process. If you stop by when it's not peak hours you should have an even be

We stopped at the Hoover Commons location to try the new pimento cheese chicken sandwich last fall and now we are back today for chicken minis and hash browns. This location is efficient and fast. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this chick fil a - and bring back the honey pepper pimento cheese sandwich !!!! When i walked in the team welcomed me in. When i ordered the lady at the register was very polite like usual. There was no mess at my table. It was spot less but I would have to say that the bathroom needed a bit of cleaning. The food was ready really fast. It was still hot felt like it was fresh off the grill. I got the 12pc nuggets and a fry. It was the best. The only problem i had was it had no play place.

This is my second favorite Chick Fil A. The best one is the one in the Grove in Hoover near Target. The service here is good like all other Chick Fil As and honestly I can't complain much about the food either. The spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries make my day. There's an older woman who works there and means well but one day she came over to me and started searching my table. She said a young woman lost her MK wallet and noticed my purse was MK. I was super insulted at first but told her I'd help her look for it. I got the feeling she thought I had it because she only searched my table. But I excused her because she is super old and from "that time." I think she felt bad later so she kept asking me if I needed anything. The traffic surrounding this place is hectic, they have 2 lanes and sometimes staff directs traffic, but the location isn't optimal because the strip mall behind it is super busy. During Christmas it is covered in flashing lights and occasionally you'll find live music albeit Christian rock inside. There's no war on Christmas here, lol. I Waitr from here quite a bit. Nothing like having Chick Fil a delivered to you when you don't want to leave the house.

My friends and I are road tripping across the US to get to Florida and got a flat tire in Hoover. After replacing it with the spare and exchanging our rental car, we needed to grab dinner before hitting the road. We wanted something quick but tasty and dependable so we couldn't think of anything better than a CFA. We found one along our route and ended up here. This was by far the worst CFA experience I've ever had. We waited in line for food after observing a manager try to find more people to work the registers but somehow couldn't find more than 2 people to take orders. We ordered food and went to sit down. After passing a few tables that weren't occupied but cluttered with trash, we found our spot. One of my friends got her milkshake before she sat down, the other two had to remind the staff of their order, one of which asked twice. When another friends salad came, it arrive made incorrectly and was talked back to the kitchen for revisions. While one of the others sipped her milkshake, another was brought to the table but her food never arrived. 10 minutes later she went up to remind the team again and their response was "oh you didn't get that yet?" No apology, no compensation for her time. While all of this was going on, we watched as three separate staff members sat down to take their breaks. At 6pm on a Saturday. Interesting timing It was a rough day only made worse by being let down by CFA.

Eating food at this restaurant is truly unlike anything available in the city of homewood and Birmingham as a whole. That being said, since this restaurant has been open I have noticed very clear and fixable issue regarding the service, which I deem to be subpar. Keep in mind that I continue to come back here because I really do feel like this food is worth coming back for. My intention with this review is to provide constructive criticism to the owner of the restaurant who may read this and may make these changes. 1.Tableware- every time I have dined I have always noticed that the house staff is never entirely prepared to service the customer, even when the restaurant has 1 or 2 tables full. By service the customer, I mean setting plates, forks, spoons and knives at the ready. I understand that mandi is a food eaten with hands but having a plate and silverware is always necessary for the American customer 2. Taking orders- many times while ordering with a big group, the hostess would take the order by memory without writing things. This would lead to moments where while in the middle of dining on one of the mains they brought out asynchronously from the rest of the order, the hostess would end up asking us if we had anything else missing. In fact while taking the check the hostess would ask us about our order, as if we were responsible for writing it down ourselves. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but if the order is written then it would save a lot of unnecessary questions and confusion about our order. 3. Missing sides with orders: the daqous or toum is routinely missed with specific orders. Not sure if this is brought out on request or part of the order inherently though. 4. Keeping tabs on order completion: this was mentioned in number 2 but it really isn't our responsibility as customers to inquire about parts of our order when we don't see them on the table and when the waitress asks us if we are missing anything it just adds a layer of confusion and loss of trust in the staff. Bottom line: The food is great, cooked to perfection, and delicious The house staff team requires real training and the issues can be fixed. Working in service is hard and it can be a very laborious job. It seems like this restaurant is family run which is great, but I really believe certain consistencies need to be implemented for this restaurant to have real, returning customers.

Dinner also come with a salad and a rich aromatic broth to start with. Quite refreshing! Beef kabobs were good, but once we tried the lamb dishes, it paled in comparison... First all of the lamb was SO tender it was all falling off the bone! We did not need any extra seasoning, though if you run on the salty side you may need to request... Then as we were headed out talking to one of our hosts, come to find out the lamb is from a local farmer/rancher, which in this old/ex chefs mind took this to yet another level. I will absolutely be back again and am so mad that I waited so long to try it! Please treat yourself to the local gem!
