Hadn't been to Chick-fil-A in a very long time. I was passing by, noticed this location, and decided to stop mostly because of the huge free parking lot nearby. I'm not a big fast food person, but once in a while I'll still give in. This location looks pretty new, which helps. Everything was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly. But honestly, that's kind of the standard for Chick-fil-A at this point, so it's more of a "must have" than something surprising. Nothing really stood out in an amazing or terrible way. Overall just a smooth and normal experience. One small thing I liked -- they gave me two sauces instead of one. I appreciate the corporation locations that still takes care of customers. The food is always great. The parking lot can get ugly because they share with Costco. There is a drive thru line that can get difficult if there are Costco people in the way. The food and staff is still worth coming into for a great meal. This store has a sparkly clean dining area. I love the small flower arrangements on the tables. That gives it a very welcoming environment, a little bit of a boost from usual, casual dining places. Although I did not get her name, the cashier who took my order was very sweet. She didn't rush me. She had all kinds of answers and suggestions for me. I asked a lot of questions. I typically don't come here for breakfast. In fact, I think this may be the second time that I've had any kind of breakfast from any Chick-fil-A store. Shortly after we sat down, our food was brought to us. I was happy with the appearance of our order and the accuracy. The only thing that I wish is that my sandwich were hotter. My tater tots were piping hot, but my sandwich was not. I have a feeling that maybe a little more time should've been taken and waiting for the tater tots to be closer to being done and then preparing the sandwich, not the other way around. I'm sure that the store would've remade my sandwich so that I would've been hotter if I had taken it up to them and brought the issue to them, but I didn't wanna bother to do so. I did a Mobile order waited for like 20 minutes there was only 1 person packing the food and everyone just seemed like they were on their on time. I'm not gonna lie, I usually drive all the way to the Pasadena location just because I can't stand the Chick-fil-A attached to the Americana. There's never parking, it's always overcrowded with pickups, and of course, it's attached to a whole outdoor mall, which makes it even more chaotic. No hate on that spot, but I'm so glad this new location opened. There's plenty of parking since it's right by Best Buy and Costco, with tons of pickup spots and general parking. I went in to order and grab my food, and as usual, the staff was super nice and helpful. When I selected this location on my maps for navigation I saw the low rating and was wondering why, because that is not that common for a Chick-fil-a. I ordered online because I was in a rush, wanted the food to be ready when I get there. I went in to pick it up and it was not put in to the system so I had to wait for at least 15 minutes. Not great but it happens. Then I got my grilled chicken sandwich and wow, I never had anything this bad at a Chick-fil-a. The only reason why I'm giving a 2 was because of 2 things. 1. The staff seemed to focus on the line that grew in a matter of a few minutes, even taking an employee who just went on break prior to the people in line. 2. There was hair in our fries. There is a separate door/ room for those who are picking up. That room is not attached to the main area. It was my first time at Los Feliz location and I was surprised there was no drive thru. But that's okay! I did curbside pick up instead. I made the order for my family and I around 2:11 pm on a very hot day. We waited about 20 minute in our car and nothing! My husband decided to get out of the car and see what was going on. Keep in mind we didn't notice a lot of customers around this time. My husband came back with the order 5 minutes later and we decided to just eat in the car because of how hungry we were. Our food wasn't properly made and some Items where missing. Service, quality, and food was just not as expected. This is one CFA I will not be returning to at all. Service could be improved. There might be a bottle neck with the food delivery to tables and out going orders. It seemed like only one young lady was handling that for all orders and having to find the correct customer. However her customer service could have been better when asked for a refill. The experience left me feeling burdensome and her attitude was not the best. Not sure why she felt like in an anxious rush since the lunch rush was over by 1:30pm. My refill came back with the cup filled up to the brim with ice and 1/3 of my soda poured back out. We all know there are high profit margins with the sodas so why are we being stingy with the refills. Chick-fil-A is one of the best run fast food chains in the business and also shares that status with In-n-Out. This location is brand new, but may be the best location in L.A. One of the main reasons for that is that it doesn't have a drive thru and is not a constant zoo. Staff is exceptional and seem to care about their jobs, unlike at most of other fast food chains in L.A. even at $20/hour (McDonalds has really done downhill in this regard.)
