Located in the heart of Los Feliz, Hollywood -- with a parking lot‼‼‼ Angry Chickz serves simple but insanely crispy spicy chicken No worries -- you can choose your own spice level! I can only handle mild This little spot also has a cute, unique Hollywood mural, adding extra fun to the spicy experience IG: socalhkfoodies

Delicious! Two sliders and fries for $17 is a great deal! Shared it with a friend and it was a perfect afternoon snack. We tried no spicy and one mild and both have their distinct vibes and both were tasty! The fries and sauce were also delicious. Well balanced sandwich and on par with other tasty and reliable fried chicken sandwiches but not quite in the upper echelon of fried chicken sandos. The vibes and playlist in the place were excellent and my man behind the counter was SUPER friendly and really had a great energy so shoutout to him and the other woman working there today. My guy put a pickle on top of the non spicy one to make it clear and I gotta say that's genius! I was going to give 4/5 for overall but I'm changing to 5/5 bc I had a great sandwich, great company, and good vibes and service!

I'm so excited #3 combo made to perfection!

Oh my gosh! Alejandro has the best, I mean tip top service, recommendations, and accommodation. This location is the real deal and a true gem. I was just here yesterday on pick up and order, and suddenly I'm taking a break from deliveries to eat here. I mea. Wow. It's on the strip, it's got ambience, character, friendly service, knowledgeable employees, and gosh darn if you haven't had Nashville's hot chicken I will say you're missing out... my food was hot and made to order!

It was sooo good 10/10 ! They have other options too combo #3 comes with fries and two chicken tenders, but you can substitute it for a chicken sandwich! Love it!!

    Chicken sandwich - medium

Was in the area last Sunday and my son who's into trying any chicken tenders or sandwich found this on yelp so he said we should have some to go so he can eat it on the way home. We got here closer to 4pm, there's parking in the back so it was easy to get to. Dining area was empty, there was a just a group seated outside. The restaurant has enough seats inside and outside so that dining in will be convenient so I would think they are probably busy most days. My son ordered the combo 1 which comes with coleslaw, chicken sliders (mild spice level) and ordered extra Mac and cheese. I got just the chicken sandwich and took the coleslaw my son has and I have to say that the chicken held up really well when I ate it at home 30 mins after. The spice level is just right for me - I ordered medium - just the right heat. Chicken was tender and moist. Having tried so many other chicken sandwiches my son said this one was better than Dave's hot chicken. He can definitely have it again but we will probably try the one nearby. Didn't know they had one in the valley.

One of the best meals I've had in LA and I eat everywhere! Our server was the nicest and went into such detail about the dishes and the wines. Excellent service. The place is very daintily decorated with its antiques adorning the walls. I did find it a bit cramped and the noise level was up there but we could hear each other just fine. Every single thing we had was SUPERB! That pork loin, that mackerel! The Guinness bread and make sure you pair with the Shropshire cheese and apricots. Can't wait to go back!! Applause Applause!!

A few easy improvements would make this a 5-star review!…read more 3 of the 4 dishes we shared were excellent and the 4th was solid. Didn't love the counter spot facing the window but we showed up without a reservation so was grateful to be able to eat there without planning. What went right: first - our server and service was great, friendly and knowledgeable. the first appetizer, KM39 and nectarines, was fabulous in its simplicity. KM39 is an age cheese from Galicia province of Spain and hits many of the notes you'd expect from Parmesan Reggiano (not quite as good). It was dressed with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The nectarines were so sweet and pretty too. The little gems salad was tasty and what drew us in was the crackling' but had a bit too much shallot in the dressing and was not chilled - an easy fix in my opinion. Our entrees were phenomenal. The skin on my Sea Bream was charred and crispy and the fish firm but moist. The rub on my spouse's pork chop was an umami bomb - lovely. Both the sauces were terrific but overly generous. I used an extra plate provided to keep that fish skin staying crispy. The Welsh Rabbit that we ordered as an appetizer was forgot but the server offered us a free ice cream at the end. We declined because we were satiated but it was a nice gesture. Here's what could be improved: the white wine list was carefully curated and we loved the bottle of Chenin Blanc. We loved the Le Crueset wine sleeve and we hated the 50 cent IKEA wine glasses! . Most of the wines run about $70 so the restaurant should buy better wider wine glasses to enhance the bouquet of the wine. These were so narrow they were almost champagne flutes. The Somm did a great job on the wine list but must know nothing about beer - or they were actively discouraging its consumption. Yes I know this is British influenced cuisine but Guinness and Miller are your two beer choices. Yes we had wine but some people still prefer beer. These days you need an IPA or Pale Ale on the choice list and you'll please half of the beer drinkers. A Blonde Ale would be much better than Miller. No one is going to Wilde's for dinner and then trying to save a few dollars in their beverage. The complimentary tap water could have been chilled but I also know that is not the custom in England.

Outdoor patio seating is great, and reminds of eating outdoors in a European cafe. Indoor seating is a little cramped if you're at one of the tables, which also sort of mimics European cafes. My one small knock on this restaurant is the service has been inconsistent. Couple times our waiter was great, but a couple times it was hard to flag them down, they didn't space out the dishes very well as the appetizers and entrees all came out the same time, or they forgot to bring water when we asked for it. Small things to complain about overall though.

The space itself is cute, trendy, and modern, but according to my Korean friends, the food stays true to tradition -- which is exactly what you want from a place like this. There was a line when we got there, but it moved quickly -- and they came around to take our order while we were still waiting, so food came out fast once we sat down. I've had bossam before and always got cold, sliced meat -- not my thing. Here, it comes out hot, and the pork jowl was incredible. I genuinely could not stop eating it, so tender with that perfect grilled edge. They also start you off with a little bowl of barley rice (bori bap) as part of the banchan -- first time trying it and it was such a nice, unexpected touch. We also shared the chicken sujebi and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The hand-torn noodles were perfectly chewy and the broth was seasoned just right -- not too salty, just deeply savory. Heads up on parking: it's tough. I got lucky with street parking but it's only 1-hour limit, so keep an eye on the clock. The lot is valet only and looked chaotic when we pulled up, so budget extra time (and maybe cash) if you go that route. Honestly one of my favorite meals I've had in Koreatown, and a great spot to bring visitors -- my friends loved it too. Already planning my next visit to work through the rest of the menu. The Chicken Kalguksu was a highlight with its thick, chewy noodles and creamy broth. The squash was a delicious addition - comforting and warm, a must-order! The Hangari Bossam (medium) was perfect for sharing, and the tender pork belly was amazing with the cabbage and kimchi. I especially enjoyed it with the jalapeños; it's the best of both worlds, melting in your mouth! We left feeling full and happy, already looking forward to our next visit. However, I don't know if it was because it was the end of the night or what, but we had to ask for the rest of our bottle. Our server didn't know if we had any left but we ended up having two glasses worth in the bottle. If we didn't ask for it, we would not have received the wine we paid for, which was $70. Reviews looked solid, so we decided to come back to try the place ourselves. Plaza is very limited - and there's a ton of cars with the nearby businesses. Recommend parking on the street. Also, don't be deterred by the people waiting around. Most of them were waiting for to-go orders and we were seated immediately. Interior has a very old-time diner feel. Decor hasn't been updated, but I think that's the overall charm of the place. Menu is straightforward - if you order the lunches, the portions are smaller while the dinners are a little heftier on the portions. We went with the two piece chicken and waffle for $17.86 and the chicken dinner (3 pieces of chicken, 2 side orders, and 1 roll) for $20.56. And with the lunch/dinner orders, you are able to add an additional drumstick for a dollar, so we were able to add 3 extra drumsticks for $3. They have the option of spicy chicken and regular chicken. If you like spicy, then definitely give it at try. I felt like the seasoning of the spicy chicken was more on the cajun/smoky side and it was pretty spicy where I couldn't taste much of the chicken. I personally preferred the original. Breading was on point and upon breaking into the chicken - wow, super moist and juicy. Came with ranch and their special cajun spicy sauce. For our sides, we ordered the cajun fries and the mashed potatoes. Cajun fries were a bit too much, but the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. Rolls weren't anything too special. I think I really enjoyed the waffle most of all. Crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. Portion was fairly big and I finished maybe two pieces before getting full. Adding on a pat of butter and drizzling on that syrup - perfection! Workers were really friendly and helpful. If you pay with cash, you get a discounted price versus paying with credit card.
