3 pieces of chicken for $25
Dalia Y.

$25 for this plate with 3 pieces of chicken. Absolutely not. And the salad had zero taste.

Outside seating.

The wife and I finally decided to try this place after years of driving past it. It was worth the wait. We both ordered the chicken kabob plate which comes with salad, hummus, pita bread, white rice and chicken chunks. It was flavored nicely and filling as all heck. We also got a couple of falafels. Tasty! I do wish that we were served on actual plates instead of take out containers. Both the in and outdoor seating areas were well maintained. As far as the ambiance goes.... I would like to redesign the room. Nothing major, it just needs to be a little more cozy. I'd start with the lighting. The fixtures are nice, but the light bulbs should be soft amber instead of the bright white they use. The inner dining room area has a lot of space that could be used better. I would line the walls with some dark wood bookcases and fill them with older books to create an aesthetic. I would add a small, vintage couch to the area directly across from their ordering counter and maybe add a side table to create a living room or study type of feeling. Finally, I would fill the room with real plants. All of this could be done for very little money and would improve the sit down experience. Even if they didn't do any of this, we agree that we would eat at Sepan chicken again.

First time here. I wouldn't order from here through uber eats or any other online service. The portion of rice and meat they serve for the price, I can make at home. I thought there was more under the lettuce and when I checked there was nothing under the lettuce. I put the fork as a reference to the amount of rice and chicken I got, less then half of the the plate. Service here as well wasn't it. My husband went to grab the food and he noticed they gave him a small container of food and he told them he ordered the big plate, the cashier didn't believe him until my husband told him I have a receipt and that's when they decided to change the plate size but all for what, if I ended up getting a small portion either way. I personally wouldn't order here through uber eats or other online service. I'm glad my husband told them he got a plate but we didn't check the portion in person, we just left and come to find out the small portion I got.

I liked their beef shawarma wrap, every shawarma place does it their way and I find one here to be pretty good and more on the fresher side (flavor profile wise). Comes with a grilled pepper and a good portion of homemade hummus. Service was very friendly and everything was good. The patio is inviting and looks like there is a bar sometimes. Only thing is double check the prices when ordering. I got a tiny bottle of Perrier without looking which ended up being $6, absolutely unreasonable.

Ordered from Doordash and was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was, also a big plus to how generous the serving was for the plate of chicken and beef kabob.

Happy hour deals buy one get next for 1 cent draft or bottle!!!!

They double-billed me and refused to make an adjustment. Treated me as if I was trying to rip them off.

My quest to find another great burger spot led me to a little corner eatery in South Glendale. The…read morebranding here is bright and lively...kind of a mixture of pop art and anime. Inside is clean and spacious. Menu offers mainly smash burgers and chicken items, along with various sides. Prices are decent. Ordered the following: - Double-double wagyu smash up combo - 8.5/10: superb smash burger. Decadent, flavorful, what sets this burger apart is that they use wagyu beef patties and fry them in butter. Lots of it. Every bite is going to be juicy. If there was a comparable, I'd probably say Shake Shack's smash burger. It's about the same size and has the same soft bun. But Cluck's blows it away. Easily. - Fries - 8.5/10: seasoned extremely well, these are extra crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Comes with two dips of their burger sauce and ketchup. By the way, their sauce is excellent. Most burger sauces are too tarty. Theirs are well-balanced with some heat. - Six piece wings - 8/10: dry rubbed. Got these in mild. There are higher levels of heat, of course. These were perfectly fried and damn tasty. This really is good food and this spot should be way more popular than it is. I had lunch here on a Monday and there was hardly anyone there, sadly. I suspect it could he the location as it sits on a corner of a super busy intersection that makes it not easily accessible. And the foot traffic here isn't that great at all. Anyway, a great time was had by all.

Per Yelp reply there are no women working there--so basically calling a customer a liar will not get you my repeat business, there was definitely a sweet slim lady taking orders and working the front counter, she seemed to be filling in as she wasn't super familiar with where things were located....but I promise I'm not making up the fact that there was a nice lady who helped us....

I decided Howlin Rays deserved my attention. There was already a line in place and they were playing some good music from the restaurant. When it came time for me to order, Ryan at the counter was very friendly to me. Everyone in the restaurant was. I really enjoyed that. I stuck with getting the mild sando, and didn't expect the chicken breast so gigantic! It was a delicious sandwich and the spice was pretty good. I'm glad I didn't go any spicier than that. I ordered the fries which were actually pretty good. They were definitely seasoned, but they weren't heavily in taste sense. They had something for me to drink and it went really well with a meal actually. I'm glad that I could say that I enjoyed this place from beginning to end. It is a little hidden, but luckily for me I found it. Definitely will come back to have my wife try it one day.

Parking structure in the back, which was nice walked in staff was welcoming and friendly. I was very surprised to see that it was very inexpensive. Me and my boyfriend got the number one which consisted of two chicken sandwiches and the order of fries we also got one of the three bowls they offer. It consisted of fries, chopped up chicken topped with mac & cheese, which was delicious. Added 2 drinks total was $39 the chicken level I got was medium maybe next time I'll get HOT but the chicken itself was very soft and tender will definitely be going back food was very tasty totally recommend this spot

It's not your typical plain rice--it tastes like jasmine rice, and when you combine it with their sauce, mac & cheese, tenders, coleslaw, and pickles, it all just works really well together. The sandwich is also really good. The bread is soft, so it's easy to eat and doesn't feel heavy. I've ordered the Hangry Fix and the Classics 3 both times, tried mild, and medium. I think I'll stick with mild definitely has a kick. Compared to Dave's, I'd say their medium feels closer to a "hot" level. Their sauce is another highlight--way better than Raising Cane's in my opinion, and a bit closer to Dave's style but still its own thing. Price-wise, it's not bad at all, especially compared to Howlin' Ray's. I don't get to have this often since I only go when I'm in Los Angeles, but it's definitely a must every time I'm there. Give it a try.

We visited the Burbank location on Glenoaks and ordered the 2 Piece White plate ($19) which comes with baked beans and coleslaw, along with sweet teas. We went medium spice and it was the perfect call -- enough heat to let you know it's there without overwhelming the incredible flavor of the chicken itself. The skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was extraordinarily juicy -- this is some of the best fried chicken in the city, full stop. Fresh, never frozen, natural and hormone-free chicken fried in peanut oil -- and you can taste the difference. The baked beans were sweet and comforting -- a perfect Southern companion to the chicken. The coleslaw rounded out the plate nicely and the sweet tea was exactly what you want in a spot like this. Our waitress was exceptionally accommodating and made excellent recommendations that guided us in the right direction -- that kind of attentive, knowledgeable service makes the whole experience feel special. The atmosphere is old school diner all the way -- checkered tablecloths, no frills, just great food and genuine Southern hospitality. The whole experience felt like a step back in time in the best possible way. At $19 for a two piece white meat plate with two sides this is outstanding value for the quality you're getting. Gus's is the real deal and deserves every bit of its reputation. If you haven't been, fix that immediately.
