I may be a born-and-raised New Yorker, but living in Georgia? That'll turn you into a Chick-fil-A girl real quick. So while I've been around this neighborhood forever, I had never really gone into this location on 86th until January when I was in full birthday mode for my son. And listen... planning a kid's birthday? Stressful. You're running around, trying to figure everything out, making sure the kids are fed, happy, entertained -- all of that. So I went in to ask about catering nuggets and fries, just trying to see what my options were. That's when I met Amina. From the moment she spoke to me, her energy was just... calm, warm, genuine. She didn't just answer my questions -- she walked me through everything. Gave suggestions, broke down a better way to do my order, made sure I understood everything. And it wasn't rushed or forced. It felt like she actually cared. And I'm not gonna lie, her spirit? It matched mine. In the middle of all that chaos, she gave me a moment of peace. And that matters. Even the next day when I went to pick everything up -- I was running a little late, because of course I was -- the staff was amazing. No attitude, no stress. They reassured me like, "Don't worry, we're gonna make it fresh for you," and they did just that. Everything was hot, fresh, and ready to go. And every time I've gone back since? Same experience. The place is always clean (which y'all already know is BIG for me), the staff is friendly from top to bottom, and Amina is consistently that same sweet, genuine person. I honestly be happy when I see her because I already know I'm about to have a good interaction. She gives customer service the way it's supposed to be given. Not forced. Not robotic. Real. And I watched her with other customers too -- same kindness, same patience, same warmth. Even with her team, you can tell there's respect there. That's leadership energy, whether the title is there yet or not. So yeah, this is me giving Amina her well-deserved flowers. Y'all got a good one, for real. Solid chick fila experience. Workers were friendly and efficient in placing my order while I waited on the line. This location is always so busy with take out /uber eats drivers but everyone is polite and patient. I only ordered a peach shake but got it in less than 5 min. It's my first time getting the peach shake and I see why it's so popular. The bits of peach in the shake really give it a nice flavor pop. I just wish the straw was bigger like a boba one so I can have an easier drinking experience. read more

I just came to this location for the first time. They take your order quickly as you are in line and pay. The food is ready very quickly. All the workers are very polite and nice. I took my food upstairs to eat via the elevator. They have steps as well. They had all this seating upstairs. The staff member Brian changed out my ice tea from sweet tea to unsweetened tea within a few minutes. They had workers who cleaned the tables and swept the floors when guests left. It was a very clean eating area. Felt comfortable eating there and reading on my phone. I would come back to this location. read more

For days where I can't afford to get more stressed out before I log in, at least I can count on correct and hot orders delivered 100% of the time. I've been ordering for a couple years, so embarrassingly this is based on at least 100 orders. The owner here not only spams my app with free food coupons, but he's managed to hold on to the same half dozen delivery guys - who remember the quirks of getting in my building. As far as the physical location, I finally went the other day and found the upstairs area to have such an interesting layout that even had some armchairs to relax in. It's still fast food - so not spotless - but perfectly fine for kids etc. read more

Mac and cheese was warm, creamy and tasty. Bits of cheese with overcooked texture with the gooey cheese was delicious. Worth the 6$ and change. Waffle fries were what you'd expect. Tasty. Basic. Perfect salt on this batch. Then I got the chicken deluxe sandwich. Thin slice of tomato, doesn't taste the freshest but doesn't taste old. Not the BIGGEST fan of tomato, so I'm cool with it being thin. 2 paper thin pieces of lettuce; tasted alright. Slice of cheese, and one pickle (more pickles would have been cool) Nice slightly spicy, crispy chicken. Pretty good. Oks sweet tea, no complaints. Oh, one complaint. Had some time to kill after spending a few hours at the bronx zoo. I decided to stop in here for an early dinner. Ordered the kids nuggets, fries, half iced tea half lemonade and ice cream. The highlight was surprisingly the Arnold Palmer, which has always been, in my past experience at chick-Fil-a, mediocre. Ordered online for dine in- they bring it right to your table which is awesome. However, upon arrival my nuggets and fries were lukewarm and slightly over salted. Understandably, this place is mad packed all the time so food isn't always going to be prime. Just sad to dine in and get lukewarm food. The ice cream was very good and not too sweet. The staff are very friendly and helpful here. Minus one star for the lukewarm food but overall, a really good option for a quick snack and a nice bathroom. read more

Fast food chicken sandwich challenge. This was the third of a few fast food chicken sandwich reviews, and my first time at a Chic fil a. Their chicken and coating were slightly thicker and slightly better than Wendy's in my opinion, but not with all the hype I've heard. I think Popeyes homestyle chicken hands down is the best of the three. The chicken tenders were also good, but not great. My son enjoys them. The organization and storefront at this location are impressive. Orders are taken by a greeter, and they have a system of order taking and pick ups. Very efficient and organized. There is also plenty of seating upstairs, including a couple of big lounge chairs which I've never seen at a fast food restaurant. Everything is clean and sanitary; they even have a no touch garbage can that opens with a sensor. read more

I had a seat upstairs and listened to relaxing music while I ate. I could eat their biscuits every day. The texture is fresh and buttery with enough cheese and bacon to satisfy me. Next time I'll try sausage. I could have eaten two. I'm going to enjoy having Chick fil A close to home. I spotted an electric plug near my seat. Looks like I'll be coming after my morning walks. I don't eat meat or chicken but I had to swing by this new location which opened up on the Upper East Side to see what all the hub bub was about. They were open during the pandemic shutdown for pickup. Their app worked great and my order was waiting for me. Had the large peppermint chip milkshake which was pretty decent, but I felt like I had a diabetes attack after drinking it. I also ordered a side of waffle fries which I wasn't impressed with. The mac and cheese wasn't bad but with it's crispy top was passable for a fast food joint. Honestly, I don't get what the allure is with this place. I like this chick fil a spot! It is always crowded and has many double parked cars out front collecting delivery orders, but besides that the customer experience inside is very good! A young man with an iPad walked up and down the line taking customers orders, so that the time you get to the cashier, all you need to do is pay and wait a bit longer for your order. Management does a pretty decent job running this location as far as I can see. Kids do sneak onto the second floor to I guess lounge around, although it is closed due to COVID. The employees don't seem to care or don't notice. I placed my order in my mobile app and you can scan yourself to check in at the front of the door outside to keep the social distancing. My order is accurate and the food tastes great. The store manager personally was handing out the food and made sure it was my order. That's a plus in my books. read more

The ambiance is wonderful because there is seating up stairs with large glass windows that overlook the street. Service is top notch. You go up via stairs or elevators where there are one to two crew members waiting to take your order. The seating area even has leather accent chairs. Food comes out quickly to your table. There is a manager here that continues to go above and beyond every time, he is so welcoming and i often catch him communicating with customers in the pick up area. I appreciate their quickness and accuracy with each order. There hasn't been a time where I felt badly about the food I received from this location. I continue to go back to this particular location any time that I am in Manhattan, their Honey Chicken Pimento Sandwich was an amazing addition to their menu and I'm hoping they bring it back soon! read more

Stopped in for lunch today. The staff is super friendly and even though the line is long it moves extremely fast. We sat upstairs and ate. A lot of teenagers from high school so it can get loud but that's anywhere in the city when school lets out. Keep up the great work at this location you can tell that you have a strong team of staff that work well together!! Also to the young man working upstairs cleaning I just want to highlight his professionalism and kindness. He came over and asked if we were good! I knew nothing about this location until I stayed with someone who lives right near here and suggested I redeem a free sandwich at that location. It gets crowded sometimes but I like that they attach your straw to your drink when you pick up an order. Picking up an order or getting one is definitely consistent with my experience with other Chick-fil-A locations in NYC and elsewhere. Customer service is definitely on point here as it is at other locations. I went here more than once when I stayed here and would likely come back if I were in the area. read more

Of course, the food is incredible and you're not going to find a fast food option that's better, more consistent than, or quick than CFA! I lived in the South for 4 years, so I was ecstatic that chick fila was coming to UES. I am a little disappointed, the staff did not greet me. The cashier had a flat affect. I am even more disappointed in the chicken. I got chicken fingers and when I got them in the south they were beautiful golden fried whole pieces of chicken. Oh man if you're able to get breakfast from these guys it's definitely worth it. Now we all know they just do chicken but the sausage they have for the egg biscuit is flavorful with a touch of spice. The food here is amazing and up to par with most of the Manhattan location if not better, but nothing beats the service and amazing seating that they provide upstairs. Haven't been here for a while but dropped in on the way home from a soccer game with my 2 boys as a treat for them. We got 2 meal deals, nuggets and a plain chicken burger, both with fries and both upgraded to a milkshake. Somehow it ended up being $30, I guess they gave us regular portions instead of kids meals, even so still kind of pricy. The kids were happy so I didn't grumble, but I did eat some of their waffle fries, and was disappointed at how soggy they were. Wanted them more crunchy / crispy. The area outside this location is a complete zoo, normally tons of delivery drivers doing pickup and normally also tons of wrappers and Chick-fil-A garbage. It seems recently they have tried to regulate the traffic somewhat but they need to do more. Anyhow have upgraded them to 4 stars as I know my kids like them and it's obviously popular.
