You guys were HEROES tonight! At 9:50pm we had been turned away from subway and told it was closed. Only to go across the street for the BEST service, hot fries, and fresh juicy chicken strips. Even though it was 7 min till closing the drive thru worker patiently waited for us to order and told us it was a pleasure to serve us. Then actually apologized to us and gave us free waffle fries and 2 milkshake coupons since we had to wait 3 min for fresh strips. I'd give this place no stars, they got rid of their side salad to replace it with an entree salad? How does that make any sense?! I called corporate, they had no idea as to why the side salad was no longer an option on the app. I then took it upon myself to call the store located on 5650 Touhy avenue, spoke to a manager and they told me they were part of a test..... what test? A test to see how many people you'll lose? I used to go there practically everyday, guess what, no healthy option means I will no longer purchase food from here. Of course the customer service at Chick-fil-A is always wonderful! However three times in a row of going there and by the time I make it home and I'm able to take the food out the back to eat my order has been wrong every time! Today I ordered two salads the kale salad I get home I don't have Panko or the salad dressing that I asked for. I had two kids meal with chicken nuggets grilled nuggets, and One Chick-fil-A sauce. I went there last week I ordered two number ones and a mac & cheese and two kale salads the new ones. I get home I have no salad dressing no utensils and no Panko. My sandwiches were all supreme with tomato and lettuce that I didn't ask for. And all of my drinks were wrong. I'm just so over it! I'm so bummed out because I eat at Chick-fil-A at least 2 to 3 times a week but I normally go to the one that's near me in Skokie Illinois. But I've been doing shopping over at the Walmart in Niles on Touhy so I go to that one bad move. read more

I just got home for the holiday and was so excited to eat at the new Chick-Fil-A location. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal with extra Chick-Fil-A sauce, and my girlfriend ordered a veggie wrap. We realized that we didn't get any of the Chick-Fil-A sauce and there was chicken in the veggie wrap. My girlfriend is a HARDCORE vegetarian, so she was appalled to have seen the chicken in her wrap. I went back inside and replaced the chicken wrap with a veggie wrap, and walked out and realized there was no beans, AND no avocado in the wrap. On top of that she found a hair in the wrap. We are both huge fans of Chick- Fil-A, but we were very disappointed in the location. I hope to see it improve. We will NOT be returning any time soon. Terrible service and management, go to the one in skokie instead. Drive thru is ridiculously slow, Skokie one is easily more than twice as fast. The kids there clearly aren't trained well and don't have much of a clue what they're doing. Also, when ordering curbside mobile orders, on three separate occasions they didn't even bother to look out the window to see if my car was there, despite clicking "im here" on the app. I had to dig thru google, find the number, and call the manager to ask them to bring it out. Totally love it! Extremely courteous and warm employees, scrumptious food (their salads are just as good as their waffle fries. How!?) and they give discounts and rewards a lot! I have their app downloaded and received a notification that because of the cold weather they were giving out a free sandwich, just to scan the QR code in the app. Very welcoming. So glad this locacation opened up. I try not to eat out all that often but was craving Chick Fil A today when I saw a co worker with it, so decided to stop by for dinner. I was thinking of doing the online ordering so my meal would be ready when I got there but decided against it since I wasn't sure about traffic, Touhy can be brutal at rush hour. I get there and order my food, It was out too me to take home in about two minutes which is much faster than I expect. The cashier and employee that gave me my food were very friendly, I saw an employee that I didn't even deal with during my visit when I was walking back to my car and she even told me to have a great day. Definite five stars for friendliness. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the waffle fries. I love that you can order it plain or deluxe. Sometimes you just want something simple instead of a lot of condiments that can take away from the actual sandwich. The plain just came with pickles and the chicken patty. Another grand opening from the zillion-dollar Cathy family empire. Stopped here only because a friend doing the driving insisted on it. The restaurant is gigantic, huge kids play space, computer monitors everywhere, acres of parking ... must have cost millions. Mostly high school age workers (raising the question of why they weren't in school at 11:45am on a school day ...) so service was on the slow and overly meticulous side. The food, I cannot address, as I do not financially support megacorporations that give massive sums of money to anti-LGBT organizations (look it up - they claim they don't, but they do) but I will say my experience in the dining room was at least pleasant. Five stars for the environment, but the anti-gay piece brings it all down to a single star (and would be zero if such an option happened to be available.) I work nearby and have gone here a few times with the poorest results of any chic fil a I've been to. A couple of days ago the order I received was entirely incorrect, and the woman who handed me the food even parroted the wrong order from what I had. I corrected her and she just replied "yeah that's what I said" (not true) and proceeded to give me the wrong order. Went there this morning for breakfast and got there right at 10:30 after rushing to make the breakfast menu. The person in front of me ordered what they wanted and when I stepped up right at 10:30 the lady taking my order goes "sorry no breakfast left." I looked to her right and saw plenty of food and asked if there was any way she'd allow it and she barks "no exceptions." I've been to many Chic Fil As throughout my lifetime and childhood growing up, and what I get at this location is garbage. I also never feel pulled to write reviews, but felt this one was necessary. So happy this location opened up last year; it is closer than the one at Old Orchard for me. The service in the drive thru is always top notch. The young workers are respectful, pleasant, appreciative, and truly leave a good impression on the restaurant. The food always comes out quick, hot, and fresh. My recent go-to is a spicy deluxe sandwich. So bomb! I also highly recommend the brownies that came out over the summer, truly a fantastic cake/fudge mix that will satisfy any sweet tooth. It is only $1.99 I believe as well! The reward program is also excellent, as I am frequently given free food, and I love the point system. As opposed to other competitors in which you need a certain amount of points to get one major item, Chick-fil-A's system allows you to redeem almost everything on the menu with corresponding point values. The management, service, food, and rewards program is the best in the industry, and is why I will continue to be a loyal customer at Chic-fil-A. read more

What a great first time experience eating in at Chik-fil-A! Even tho the staff was slammed with customers, each person greeted me with a warm smile, from Isabella who took my order, to Eileen, a wonderful woman who offered to get me a refill. The food was delivered to my table within 5 minutes and was so delicious! The spicy southwest grilled chicken salad was the best I've ever had, bar none! I had the pleasure of speaking with Kate a manager, and the owner/operator, Rob, both of whom seemed genuinely gratified to hear how welcoming and efficient the staff was. I woke up bright and earring this morning, with a hankering for a crispy chicken sandwich and waffle fries. What better place to satisfy my craving than chik-fil-a? So I got in my car, and drove to the nearest location. When I walked through the doors, I was slapped with the sweet smell of chicken, and I walked to the register to order my food. I was wearing my typical everyday outfit of rainbow suspenders and knee-high pride socks, as you do, and the worker reluctantly looked at me up and down before polietly asking me to follow her to the back for "free samples." Oh boy! This was an offer I simply couldn't refuse! She led me into the kitchen, and locked the door behind her. Strange, I thought, but perhaps she didn't want anyone to know that she was giving out food for free. Suddenly, a group of chik-fil-a uniformed employees jumped out at me, and I figured they were simply excited to give me a taste of their latest product, but I was wrong. They grabbed me, and led me to the furthest door in the kitchen, leading to a dark room. Wow, this really must be some top secret recipie! They threw me into the room, and a large, hairy man in a chik-fil-a uniform tied me in a chair with my own suspenders, and gagged me with a spicy chicken sandwich. Ooh, kinky. Mr. Chik was his name, but I call him daddy. Daddy didn't like that very much. All the employees circled around me, and began to chant a strange ritual, before dousing me in holy water. I suppose I did need something to wash that sandwich down. What do you mean I "wasn't supposed to eat it?" Daddy shoved another sandwich down my throat, and grabbed me from the chair before throwing me back into the kitchen. "Yes daddy!" I screamed. He immediately threw me into a vat of batter..whatever you want, daddy. Once I was fully submerged, I was thrown into the fryer. I was beginning to think something was off, this wasn't a free sample, I AM the free sample. But I complied, I didn't want to make daddy angry, and I always knew that I'm a snack. I was thrown into the fryer. Is it getting hot in here? Oh no, it's just me (; I winked at daddy. He closed the fryer lid. Playing hard to get, huh? Finally, I was removed from the fryer when I was nice and crispy (is that how you like it, daddy) and I proceeded to be chopped, and prepared.
