I typically don't eat "fast food" and the last time I ate anything from Chick-fil-A was pre-Covid. I remember having a chicken sandwich on a biscuit and it was pretty good way back then. Today I ordered the à la carte 8 piece grilled chicken nuggets and an 8 piece regular nuggets. The grilled chicken was so overly seasoned with salt, pepper and whatever other spices they use that I couldn't even eat them. Same with the regular chicken nuggets. I do think the staff are very nice, friendly, and go above and beyond in providing strong customer service. However, the food does need improvement. Every time I order waffle fries from this location, they are either cold or undercooked while in the drive through at night. I normally go to Chick-fil-A at night, and this purchase was made around 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. I understand that during the final hours of operation, many staff members are likely cleaning and preparing to close. However, if I am ordering fries, I still expect them to be hot and served at an enjoyable temperature without needing to be reheated. I did not have access to a microwave, so I was very disappointed with the quality of the waffle fries. The chicken strips were at a decent temperature but could have been hotter as well. Overall, I am disappointed with the food quality, as it has drastically changed over the past couple of years. When I visit during the day or morning, the food is usually warm or hot. I waited about 15 minutes to go to the drive-through to try to get my order and they proceeded to tell me I had to park and go inside to pick up the order. And of course there were no parking spots. They didn't even tell me I could go to the drive-through again. They said I had to come inside. I think they need to be re-trained on customer service and doing certain things to make the customer feel welcomed. Terrible service. I have to say, my visit to the Chick-fil-A in Northridge was incredibly disappointing. As a CSUN student, I was really looking forward to taking advantage of the Matador Monday special -- it's an awesome deal where I can get a free sandwich when I order a medium beverage and a medium side. It's one of the few affordable options for a college student, and I was excited to grab a quick meal after a long day on campus. However, when I went to order my usual medium cup of water, I was denied the discount. Apparently, I needed to order a beverage that's not water which is not stated on any signage. I get that rules are rules, but the way the service leader, Ella, handled it was totally unprofessional. Instead of offering a helpful solution or explaining the policy kindly, she acted like I was trying to scam the system and basically made up her own set of "rules" on the spot. I've been to this location multiple times, and while the food is usually good, the service has been consistently subpar. This experience really pushed me over the edge. Not only did I leave shocked for this happening a Chick-Fil-A, but I also felt completely disrespected by Ella and the lack of clear communication from the staff. Chick-fil-A, you're known for your customer service, but this location has a lot of room for improvement. this is the second time I've eaten in this Chick-fil-A and the service is so terrible. I always have the best service at the VALENCIA location. This one is just closer to me. But I will make the farther drive to VALENCIA in the future. Today me and my two sons dined in for lunch around 2 PM. It was not that busy but my cashier Brian was so rude and he kept cutting me off and he kept being very short with me and I was rushed into my order. It just felt very odd and rushed and rude. I'm not sure how long he's been there, but he is not a good cashier and he should not be the face of Chick-fil-A. Later on when I got my food, I asked the lady who brought it who the manager was and she just pointed that lady over there. Do you want me to call her but like so rude the food was OK. My sandwich was half the size that it normally is. I'm not sure if that's an inflation thing but everything just was off. I ordered almost $100 worth of food for me and my children and my husband to take home. I ordered 30 piece chicken nuggets like we always do so we can all share. These were how the last nuggets looked. I'm not sure how or why they think that these are qualified as 30 nuggets but for $22 I should at least get a decent size. Absolutely disgusting experience at Chick-fil-A. My mother wasn't feeling well and just wanted something to eat. We didn't have a car with us, so we walked to the location. Instead of showing an ounce of human decency, the management refused to serve her...because she wasn't in a vehicle. Very consistent. Craving this franchise from the South. Their lemonade is the best. Sometimes I get half sweet tea and half lemonade (Arnold Palmer). Surprised I hadn't reviewed this location but I generally go to the one on Topanga and the one on Tampa more often, so might have just gone unnoticed. This one is in a busy plaza at the corner of Devonshire and reseda next to Wendy's. The entry to the drive thru - enter through Devonshire btw - is a bit complicated and can get crazy. Can also be a bit slow. That said, they do their best to move things along and even have staff outside when it's super hot. Ultimately you're here for the delicious food and they're always spot on. My favorite is chicken tenders with Polynesian sauce and large fries but I can also go the chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce. I used to always get nuggets but realized other things are more bang for the buck. Tip you can buy a big bag of their awesome ice. read more

Order for take out. Got the side kale salad and 8 count grilled nuggets with buffalo sauce on the side. Let me start off by saying that I am a kale lover! I love it. I have it on a weekly basis. This was the first time I tried their kale salad. It was really good! The only thing I would ask next time is to have it lightly dressed. I thought there was a little bit too much dressing on the salad for my liking. The flavor was delicious. The kale was crunchy. The cabbage was crunchy and the roasted almonds adds a touch! I really liked it and would get it again. I poured the buffalo sauce all over the nuggets and gave them a good shake in their container and then poured them on top of the kale salad. It was really delicious! What a nice option when you're looking for something on the lighter side. I wish the ingredients used for the chicken nuggets and the dressing were a little better but I will take it for fast food. My food was ready quick. Vincent was super nice! We don't come here very often because the line is always crazy but they're pretty organized when it comes to the orders! The inner drive thru line definitely needs to be fixed though. It's too close to a curb and hard to make a wide enough turn to avoid it because of how they have the cones/dividers set up. Luckily we were in the outer lane and had no issue. Wish they had bigger or closer menus? Seems they take your order way before you get to the menu so you really have to look ahead of time online or just know what you want so you're not holding up the line. We decided to try the new peach milkshake and got some chicken sandwiches, tenders, waffle fries, and a sweet iced tea together with it. We went home to enjoy everything and it was all perfect. They're so generous with the sauces which we like to add to our sandwiches. The milkshake really hit the spot! It was 103 degrees out and it was delicious. Wasn't too sweet, refreshing almost? Huge chick fil a fan, I visit the Northridge location which is this specific one in writing a review about because it's down the street from my home. I don't eat crispy chicken sandwiches so I buy the grilled deluxe which is great. Their sauces are very tasty and definitely a plus for the sandwich burgers. Reason I give 3 out of 5 is merely the drive thru service. I truly think when they first opened the management was more on top of things and now just bare minimum. More than once I've been asked to wait near stop sign because my order was taking long. After 8-10 vehicles passing me by it's frustrating especially when I ordered four entrees and nothing complicated. The first experience was when I went in the drive thru wanting some ice cream cones, but unfortunately that day there machine were broken, instead of the workers moving the cones so I can get out of line (mind you I was near the end of the cones that could easily been moved) they said I had to wait in line to just get out. Review for customer service, not food. Nurses Appreciation week is May 6-12. Went to this particular establishment to get the free chicken sandwich, as advertised from many sites. My colleagues had no issues with getting their freebies at other location. The lead am supervisor at this location gave me and others a hard time getting a sandwich. She stated we have to register through ID.me to verify that we are nurses, even after showing our badge. In the meantime, on their door, they are giving a free breakfast sandwich for CRUNCH members with their membership code/QR CODE; no questions asked!
