It was my first time visiting this place, and it was a mess. I placed an online order for pick up, and when I arrived at the store, the pick up area was like a war zone. The pickup counter were extremely crowded and busy , packe with people who had ordered in person and online. I got the Spicy Deluxe w/ Pepper Jack Meal, Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries, and Chick-fil-A® Nuggets. Everything tasted ok, but I hope they can make the pick up process better and more streamlined.

I haven't been to Chick-fil-A in years. The last time I had it was back when I lived in San Jose, so since I was in the area, I decided to stop by because it sounded good. This location doesn't have a drive-through, so I placed an online order instead. When I got there, I thought it would be like McDonald's where you park in a designated spot and they bring your food out, but that's not how it works here. After placing your order, it gives you an estimated pickup time and you can track the status. Once it's ready, you go inside and give them the last four digits of your phone number to confirm your order. The whole process was actually really easy. I ordered a spicy chicken deluxe sandwich meal with a side salad. I really like their side salad with the ranch salsa dressing. I asked for extra red fried bell peppers, but they only gave me one packet. My meal overall was good, but the chicken sandwich didn't taste as fresh as I remembered. The cheese wasn't melted and the bun wasn't warm, which was a bit disappointing. Still, it satisfied my Chick-fil-A craving. The Chick-fil-A sauce definitely helps because without it, the sandwich can taste a little dry.

As a Texan, I felt compelled to make my bimonthly pilgrimage to the Emeryville Chick-fil-A. This place hit the spot. Took me back to the rolling green lawns, summer heat, and southern charm of Katy Texas. Sandwich was absolutely incredible - I cannot stop thinking about that Chick-fil-A sauce. We also ordered the chicken nuggets, which were a great extra source of protein. Service was amazing, love how fast and kind the workers here are. They also have a really nice patio for you to enjoy the peaceful Bay Area weather. Can't wait to come back here in a couple months!

Quick Summary: - In a location where there a lot of parking spots - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Various options to order: via the counter, via the app and pickup later, and by the QR code - Light portions When we are shopping in this area of Emeryville and we are feeling hungry, this is a good place to calm the hunger. When we went an hour after lunch, it was still full of people inside and out. Seats were harder to find in the early half of our eating session, but then the seating rotation changed and a larger group of people ate and left, which made ample room for the next wave of guests. There appeared to be more than one way to order at this restaurant: the orthodox by the counter, the second is by the app and pick up the item later. The last option is by scanning the QR code that is stuck on each table. We took the first option and ordered via the counter. We were pretty hungry at the time, so we ordered the deluxe and then a large box of fries. We first thought of getting the original, but deluxe offered more vegetables, so we decide to add that extra for the extra. The order came in pretty fast and a handful of condiment packets (special sauce, mustard, and mayonnaise) and napkins were included in the paper bag. For this round, I tried out the special sauce on the chicken patty sandwich and then dipped fries into it. The special sauce tasted like muted barbecue sauce. I couldn't make out what the other flavors other than the subtle barbecue flavor. Overall, the sauce was pretty oily, so it didn't provide a balanced punch to the already oily and fried chicken patty. If I were to try this sandwich again, I'll skip the special sauce and go for the mustard. Maybe ketchup would have been a better alternative. (also, not sure why there was no ketchup, is that common in Chick-fil-A?) The chicken patty was good, not crispy but it was very juicy. The breading was lightly seasoned, so I didn't have a salty mouthfeel afterwards. The buns are pretty soft, so after taking the photo, the moment I grabbed it, the bread easily surrendered by my hand pressure (I wasn't even squeezing it). By two or more bites, the bun was as thin as a tortilla. The fries were piping hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the ideal fried potato. However, for ordering a large, it didn't have many. Generally it feels like a good place to have a snack but its portions are light.

The manager and duster

They were literally dusting the ceiling while people were in there eating. The manager sat there and watched and only said something when I complained about large amounts of dust floating around the restaurant.

Is Chick-fil-A has got to be one of the quickest locations I've ever been to. Literally in five minutes your order will already be finished and they will have it ready for you. However, this location has some of the absolute rudest staff you will encounter. To save time I ordered over their app, which in itself was an inconvenience, but when I entered the restaurant, the employees that I encountered were very passive. I asked where I needed to go to retrieve my food and was ignored. Even even more when I finally found the location, the employee who is serving me had an attitude. She asked me my name, and at first denied my order. Even though she saw that my name was on the board, and that there are two bags in front of me, which are literally right by her that had my name on it she opted to go to the back to waste time. It came off like she didn't like being told what to do, but I was just trying to help her save time. Now, when she finally gave me my food, she said absolutely nothing just handed it to me and didn't even respond to me thanking her for it. Her rudeness didn't ruin my experience, but it definitely put a damper on that Chick-fil-A reputation that is known for excellent service. Other than that, parking outside is very hard to find. That's not surprising because it's a Chick-fil-A but having to go above and beyond circling for an open spot, definitely doesn't give you the best set up to enjoy a meal. When you answer the restaurant, you will notice that the environment is very fast and chaotic so if you like to enjoy your meal in peace, this most likely is not the place for that. The food that I receive tasted fine, but they did forget some of the sauces to our order and the large Coke that accompanied my meal was practically flavorless. So if there is one thing to praise about this location, it literally is just the speed. They can get you in and out of there and it feels like a record-breaking time for a Chick-fil-A. In the end, I rate this a 2/5.

Your typical Chick-fil-A so what's there not to like? Like most locations, they tend to be busy. They don't have a drive through, but you can order ahead on the app and surprisingly there is usually parking spots open close in their parking lot they share with Target. I ordered to go and the service was polite and timely. The pick up is in the front and dining area behind. Inside is clean. They also have security out front which is nice Everything I ordered was good and as expected. I got their new key like frost which was like drinking a key like pie. Delicious but rich.

There is no reason why a person with a mobile order should have to wait in the regular line to purchase a big bag. If an order has MULTIPLE combos and additional items, why not just put everything into one large bag?

This location doesn't have a drive through and the service was mediocre for Chick-Fil-a After you park, you need to enter through the dine in/ walk in side towards the side/ street. The door that you would think is the main door is for pick up or food delivery only. The closest spots to the restaurant are reserved for food delivery drivers. When it came time to order, I told the worker that I wanted to use my points on one of the sandwiches. I scanned my app and didn't see a change in price. I asked the worker if it covered one sandwich. She said yes. When I checked the receipt, I noticed she didn't use my points. We took a seat and our name was called and a worker handed us our food. My peach milkshake wasn't ready at the same time as the food. A worker later found me and handed it to me. The food is standard Chick-fil-a food. I don't remember it being this expensive. The maple bacon burger was good but it is $10. The total was $38 for 3 sandwiches and a milkshake

Spicy chicken sandwich: disappointed in soggy bun (like not wet just way too soft), but cool fancy bag and the chicken stole the show! (My third time eating at chik fil a) the sandwich as a whole didnt look all too pretty but one bite and I knew there was something. Chicken was super flat, not super crunchy but still had a nice crisp texture to it, not super juicy but was still moist. I think its the insane tenderness, the meat of the chicken was really tasty in all the right ways. Waffle fries: just fries in a waffle shape, nothing too special. Standard texture, taste was normal. I dipped it in every sauce I had, the chik fil a sauce was sweet. All in all, I did get pretty full from 14$ Extra A very efficient and clear speaking cashier They give you those table stands with no number Waiters bring food to table Well decorated interior Fast wait time, I got my food as soon as I sat down Fancy ketchups, you can dip or squeeze. But chik fil a sauce doesnt have squeeze option 5/5 amazing sandwich

I ordered the sando and fries combo and enjoyed them at the picnic tables nearby. 5/5 Chicken sandwich I'm no fried chicken connoisseur, but I really enjoyed this sandwich. My mild fried chicken sandwich was crispy and savory with a hint of sweetness. The coleslaw was a creamy tangy addition that paired well with the sandwich. It's nice they offer various spicy levels; the mild is flavorful without burning off your taste buds. 4/5 Fries were nicely spiced with cajun-esque flavors. Not spicy at all. They included a mysterious (aioli?) sauce that went well with the fries. Fries were crispy though without the pillowy insides I crave. The portion was huge, quite shareable. I also tried a few bites of the thick gravy seafood etouffee. Other folks in my party were impressed with the flavor and generally liked it, but I didn't care too much for it. You might enjoy it if you, too, enjoy curry-type food. I don't often eat fried or hot chicken, but I consider this to be one of the better spots locally.

We ordered a chicken sando, the chicken and waffles, and a couple sides -- the greens and etouffee. The sandwich was the clear highlight: moist chicken thigh with a breaded crunch, covered by a thin layer of mayo coleslaw. The light, sweet crunch of the cabbage and carrots gave balance to the dark meat. The waffles were crispy but just soft enough you could wrap them around the chicken to make a sweet sandwich out of that dish too. The server was very friendly when we came. I expressed curiosity about the different heat levels, and he shared nuggets batter d in the medium and hot sauces. He shared our excitement at trying the hot stuff! For the record, the medium is hotter than your typical spicy chicken sandwich and probably a safe go-to. The hot level just cracks "painful" but not unmanageably so -- might be fun as a treat. TBH I was pleasantly surprised by how much flavor each sauce packed -- and how different they were. The medium is especially sweet. Go for the sando. Crank up the heat. It doesn't miss.

The flavors are rich and laid on thick. We ordered a veggie burrito, a bean and cheese burrito with rice added, and three tacos (carne, pollo asado, and Cameron's). The carne melted in my mouth, since it was rich with rendered fat, and the tortillas were crisped around the outside to melt and seal the layer of cheese inside. Probably our best overall dish was the bean-cheese-rice burrito -- covered in their salsas and peppers -- since it balanced all the ingredients and textures. On the other hand, the veggie burrito brought the flavor, but between the crema, pico, guacamole, and cheese it ended up soggy halfway through and the tortilla threatened to come loose. The shrimp and chicken were forgettable, and the tortillas come crispy off the griddle but they are damp by the time you walk anywhere to sit.
