They never put the package of nuts in, paying top dollar for a side of kale I look forward to the toppings. All five orders of French fries were uncooked. Like almost raw. I wanted to give this place a try because I love eating Chicken Sandwiches. I ordered (3 items). This order is as follows: 1 x Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with American Cheese. It includes: (Green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and dill pickle chips on a gluten-free bun. Price $6.60. 1 x Chick-fil-A (medium size), Waffle Potato Fries. Price $2.90. 1 x Chick-fil-A (large size), Iced Coffee in the (Vanilla) flavor. French Vanilla Creamer is added to this Iced Coffee Beverage. Price $4.55. The subtotal is $14.05. The sales tax is $1.16, the delivery fee is $3.99, the service fee is $1.55, and I selected the Dasher Tip for $5.00 to be charged to my credit card account for Tyler. I always give these Dasher delivery drivers a (good tip) to ensure that my (food order) will be delivered at the estimated arrival time or at an earlier time frame. My total cost was $25.75. Tyler my Dasher delivery driver arrived at my home at 10:47 a. m. Tyler arrived 6 minutes earlier than expected. They look too pretty to eat, but I overcame that feeling and I started to eat them one by one. These Waffle Potato Fries have a chewy but soft consistency to them. This is the first time for me to eat Waffle Potato Fries. These Potato Fries are very good with Ketchup on the side or eaten alone. I am an avid Iced Coffee fan. I was sipping this Iced Coffee but requested to have the French Vanilla Creamer added to this Iced Coffee beverage. It made my Iced Coffee more flavorful and delicious. This Iced Coffee beverage is also very refreshing and I am still drinking this Iced Vanilla Coffee as I type up my review right now. I will definitely order again from this Chick-fil-A Restaurant because they have really Delicious Chicken Sandwiches and very tasty Waffle Potato Fries at a very affordable price. Chick-fil-A is amazing. Simply great food, amazing customer service and efficient organization skills! This review is mostly about CFA during 2020. We all know about Chick-fil-a. They serve whole breast meat made without fillers or hormones, breaded by hand and salads are prepared each day. Good stuff... This past 9 months I've been increasingly impressed how they've melded to the times (during this pandemic). Since most of this year we've been restricted to outdoor dining or take-out/drive-thru, this Chick-fil-a has stepped up to the plate! They've increased their employees to an army rushing from car to car, taking orders, bringing orders and handing out cheer. The Marron Rd, Oceanside location has become a pillar of service to this community. Every time I've pulled up in the drive-thru, I've seen longer and longer lines - yesterday I took my son and the line was zig-zagging through Walmart's parking lot! I almost turned around to go somewhere else, then remembered how quickly the line goes. This 'army' of employees took our order, had our food ready and we were driving away in minutes. Their chicken looks and tastes as chicken should--not weird, grey sponges like other fast food joints. The dipping sauces are also a real treat, especially their Chick-fil-A sauce, a creamy honey mustard, and their Polynesian sauce, similar to a sweet and sour--more on the sweet side! Customer service is great. They're fast and friendly. The kid working the register at the drive-in even asked "just one sauce?" when I asked for "one Chick-fil-A and one Polynesian sauce" to go with my nuggets. This location is great. It lives up to the Chick Fila name. Service is good. Food is good. I say this because the other chick fila locations in San Diego run by the Ciervos, have some kinda issue. Especially the one in La Jolla. Look at the reviews. Awful. Two and half stars. They own the locations in Esco, San Marcos, and La Jolla. It's a family, but the La Jolla location is owned separately. But even the store manager at the San Marcos Location, Jazzy was rude, as she laughed on the phone. I really don't know what is going on at the locations owned by that family. I want to place a review for this particular location which I frequent about once a month. The food is what one expects from Chick-fil-A. However, I want to mention the type of service that this restaurant provides; it is simply excellent. The staff is always polite, ready to address your needs. But this experience simply stood out: I was going to go through the drive through and when I arrived, they handed me the food and I handed them my debit card. The staff person told me that "it's not going through". He did not say "declined" only "it won't go through". I did not realize that I had not transferred money from one account to the other. Still, the gentleman told me "no worries, today, it's on us, enjoy the food". I was stunned mainly because I was not sure why my cars was not going through and also because they were willing to give me the food anyway! I told him, "I will come around and pay you". He insisted "no, no worries, it's on us". Still, I knew I had money in my account, I pull over the other side, checked my balance and saw gag I was short. Unfortunately, I ordered through the Chick-fil-A app for delivery. My wife who is recovering from 2 major surgeries wanted a meal for her and our girls. This seems very trivial, but we ordered a peppermint chip shake which is $8. It was missing and this was for my wife. Here is where I get really disappointed. I actually decided to call and complain after my wife was upset. It's not about the dollar amount, it was more about the disappointment. I rarely complain to anyone about stuff like this. I am a store manager for a different company and understand how customers can be rude or condescending over things that might be out of an employee's control. I also hold Chick-fil-A in high regards for customer service. But the employee on the other side of the phone was very short and rude. Almost made it seem like I wasn't telling the truth. Even a sorry would've been cool. But I actually left the phone call more upset than relieved. I don't think I'll ever eat at this restaurant again. When I entered Chick-fil-A Oceanside for the first time today, I was very impressed. The decorations for Christmas were tastefully done. There were fresh Christmas flowers at the entrance. It felt cozy and homey when I entered this location. Aaron greeted me at the register. He was friendly and bubbly. It seemed like he really liked his job and really like being there. That was refreshing! As I sat waiting for my food, I saw two fresh carnations in a small vase on my table. What a nice touch! There were fresh flowers on my table at a fast food restaurant. I was impressed! My food was delivered sooner than I thought it would be. The food was very tasty as usual. I always enjoyed their grilled Chicken sandwiches. Gavin delivered my food and asked if I need anything else. He seemed like he really cared about the customer service that he was providing to me. I appreciated that! A little later I saw Gavin going to each table to see if anyone needed anything else. You don't see that kind of treatment in other fast food restaurants. I took notice of that. When I was ready to leave, I asked Gavin who was the manager of this location. It just so happened that Terri, one of the managers was standing by my table. One star because the way the have the drive-thru, curbside and pick up is so ridiculous. The drive-thru line is so long, which is fine but when the "front" of the store is in the "back" it's hard to pick up your order (that you placed for pick up online) because you can't get your vehicle back there. The closed down for a long time but who ever built it this way was really not thinking straight. There is so many "curbside" parking spaces but no one is here cause again it's in their side parking lot. I hate coming to this one, just close it down, rebuild it and things will run a lot smoother. read more
