I just watched 8 people leave the line in the drive through. Chick-fi-la just lost a lot of business. They have only 1 drive through open with a bunch of cars waiting. Always good food. Service is always pleasant and with a smile. This particular location breakfast biscuits vary. Usually seem over cooked and hard, vs. the nice, soft cooked just right biscuits I have had at other locations. Will come back and hope for the best. They do serve good food, so why not. read more

One of the best places to eat overall. I do not even consider it fast food given how high-quality everything here is. They are constantly updating their menu to fit trends while keeping their staple items a big part of the menu. Their service is out of this world amazing and their restaurants are very clean. The only bad thing about Chick-fil-A is that I always seem to crave it on Sunday! Very disappointed, walked in with my one year old son to play on the play area but find the lobby to be closed from 2-4. Fine whatever we walked there so was hoping to just order real quick and eat outside, the girl up front told me no and order through the app. Okay for a kids meal you are gonna make me order through the app but an older gentleman walks right up and orders food. You looked at me like I was a kid raising a kid and I felt completely belittled. Also one of the workers was cleaning the floor and I asked him if we could use the play area and he said that should be fine, but you said no rudely. We stopped in for breakfast on the way home from my brothers bachelor party trip. The manager was making our drink and asked what our group was up to. When we told him we were headed home from the bachelor party, he congratulated my brother and was very kind. Drove 15 minutes to sit in the drive thru line for thirty, only to drive away with out my $6 kids meal, I figured the kids meal was thrown in the big bag I was handed, when I was told to have a good day. Here's the thing about Chick-Fil-A: In my opinion, I've always had a pleasant experience but don't seem to remember that's it's an option. Then we moved. Lo and behold, there's a Chick-Fil-A not far from our house! Bonus! This location is always great to us. The play place is handy, though my kids are beyond that stage by now. The crew has always been helpful. I especially love when they have a drive through being serviced by real people. It's also nice that the food is great! My personal bonus is that they discount your meal if you get water AND will grab free refills for you. Plus for being a young staff, the orders are always right (!!) and the staff always seemingly happy and wanting to help. Kudos for that! My ONLY complaint is that the location can get really congested, so we actually park in the main parking lot by the shoe store and walk over to Chick-Fil-A. Now I'm not a huge fan of reviews on chains. But this place has special place in my heart because of the way they run their business and help our local community. Plus they have some pretty quality fast food that's always served fresh, hot and with a smile. As far as fast food their classic chicken sandwich is great, I do it with a wheat bun. Then their Spicy Chicken sandwich is very tasty and even has a good little kick. Waffle fries are good and oh boy the milkshakes are yummy... But a small will set you back about 700 calories, but hey sometimes it's worth it. Now Chick Fil A has a rep for great customer service and employees who go out of their for to serve their customers. When you say thanks they say "it's my pleasure to serve you" and they mean it. This for me is much better than a little cheaper meal and workers who act annoyed when you drive up. Plus if you are a church, non profit, little league and looking to do fundraising they will let you host a Spirit Night and give proceeds to your group. My non profit has done it twice and made $650 in one night! Quality fast food, service with a smile, and a friend to the community...great place in my book! I have to agree with Kristen, i'm not really crazy about chains but I am a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A. Everything's fried in peanut oil. If you're going to fry anything, there's no better oil. not to mention the chicken strips are just INSANE!. My favorite things here though are the yogurt parfait and the chargrilled & fruit salad. The salad I would have to say is my favorite salad from any chain. Actually, I don't eat salad from chains to begin with but Chick-Fil-A is the only exception. Be sure to try it and find out why. The quality and freshness of the food at this location has taken a nose dive since they reopened from being closed for remodeling. We keep wanting it to be a fluke because we've been coming here since it opened and it's the closest one to our house. I try to stay away from fast food these days but if there is a need, it's this particular Chick-fil-a. The customer service here is top notch and so incredibly polite. I have never had a bad service experience here. I also appreciate how CFA sends customer surveys via email. I think they really listen to the customers and it shows. As for the food, my favorite item is the grilled chicken nuggets. It's a quick and easy meal for me when protein is needed. Although their waffle fries are also outstanding, I haven't had them in awhile. If you like spicy food, their spicy chicken sandwich is the absolute best; beats the competitors by a mile. If you are a shake fan, give the Peach shake a try in Aug/Sept. It's like sucking on a peach tree.. it's so good!!! I also appreciate that their sandwiches are topped simply with pickles. I'm not a mayo or dressing fan so the "extra pickles" request is always met with a smile. I've never had a bad experience at a Chick-Fil-a but this one is just the best! read more

I don't get the big whoop about Chick-Fil-A. I was really excited, like everyone else, when they began to build in Olathe. I remembered really liking it as a child - not so much as an adult. My son really likes their chicken nuggets, and I will agree that they make a very good one. But everything else is just okay to me - breakfast burrito, fried chicken sandwich, waffle fries. Their chicken noodle soup is good for a fast food joint, but nothing you'd ask the recipe for to replicate at home. They get 3 stars because: 1) they support the local schools and allow them to hold events here. 2) I don't get that nasty "I just ate fast food" feeling I get from other joints 3) the teenagers here are required to be "Stepford" polite (answering your "thank yous" with "my pleasure") 4) when I'm feeling sick, this is the nearest chicken noodle soup drive-thru. read more

For fast food, Chick-fil-A is one of the best. The service is outstanding and the facility is always clean, never dingy. My favorite is the grilled nuggets with Polynesian sauce ~ oh, and my guilty pleasure is the waffle fries (also with Polynesian sauce ~ shhh,...I might have a sweet tooth.) I have tried the wrap and the salads and several of the sandwiches and have never been disappointed. The fruit cup is ALWAYS fresh too! I have found the sweet tea to be a bit bitter a time or two, but lately it's been spot on. Breakfast is an every day from you guys before school. I go to Olathe East so it's very easy commute. Love your food and love all of the employees. However I get the chicken burrito bowl and sometimes I am not given a fork, and when I don't check before I leave I have no time to go back before school. Making food useless to me. It has been a very long time since I have been to a Chick-Fil-A, but I figured if they could change, I could give them a chance. There are so many things to like about this unhealthy dining establishment. The chicken sandwiches are awesome. Tender juicy chicken with just pickles (you can get them with cheese, lettuce, tomato also), that is all you need and it is perfect. They really let their chicken shine. The waffle fries are ok, could use a little more crisp for my liking, but ok. The shakes are yummilicious. Old time, hand spun shakes that have the perfect flavor and creaminess. Not too thick, not too runny. The real star for me is the breakfast. My favorite fast food breakfast item is a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, but so many places fail on the biscuit. CFA has the most mouth watering (not meaning dry) biscuits. They flake apart, yet are moist. They are fluffy and airy, just good grandma biscuits. The bacon can be a little chewy, but overall, best breakfast sandwich of fast food joints. The hash tot things are meh. So many places try to make a form of hashbrowns on the go. No one has found a way to make them appealing in a fast food restaurant. They are what you expect for little tater tot like hashbrowns. My downfall is the breakfast chicken minis. CFA crack! Little pieces of tender juicy bite sized chicken stuffed between little bite sized yeast rolls that have been brushed with honey butter. These things should be illegal, or come in an instant heart attack producing size. I think I am going to go take a nap and dream about running on the beach with one..... The food is good and services is tops and Tuesday morning special save money on a item for that day

The food preparation and customer service at this location is awful. I used to go here once a week to eat, sometimes twice, but I no longer eat here anymore because of consistent problems with the location. First of all, when I went here, I usually went through drive-thru for breakfast. I would order a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit combo with orange juice. Over the past year, 75% of the time the biscuit was hardened and stale, the hash browns were hardened and stale, and orders were processed incorrectly. When I complained, meals were not replaced pound per pound. One time I complained I was told my name was placed in a book (I called), but when I went through drive-thru, they stated my name wasn't listed in the book and the manager-on-duty, Lydia, refused to comp my order. When I complained to the owner's wife, they issued corporate meal incentative cards that only allowed for a choice of three breakfast sandwiches, all of which were cheaper than what I paid for the order. So, next time I drove through, I gave the cards back to the Olathe location because I never would have ordered the items offered on the cards. In addition, hash browns were never replaced. So it boils down to services not rendered, and I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. They removed the charges each time. Second, I complained to their corporate office. They replied exactly the same way. Even when I complained about services not rendered, their response was to send more of these cards that I would never use. I was stunned when I got them in the mail and just threw them away. It was like they didn't even listen to my complaint. Finally, I filed a BBB report because if there is a problem with a customer order, they should replace the items actually ordered; or, as stated before, it equates to services not rendered. I received a reply from them through the BBB, and the reply read like they mixed up my complaint with another person's complaint. It didn't even properly address the core issues of the complaint. So, if you have problems with them and they handle the transactions they same way, my advice is to dispute the charge with your credit card company, because they should remove the charge due to services not rendered. I'll never eat here again. read more

Clean. Great service. Best part: This restaurant has a fold-down step stool (see photos below) for children at the bathroom sink. Priceless! I have only seen these in large international airports. As a mother of two young children, it is so nice having help getting my kids close enough to the sink (without breaking my back or crushing their ribs while holding them up) for them to wash their hands long enough to actually get them clean. I don't know what took me so long to come to love CFA. The food is always hot and delicious, the staff are always polite, and the speed of the drive thru is more often than not very quick. This location gets a lot of business and rightfully so for all of the reasons I just mentioned. I tried their breakfast menu for the first time the other day and almost pulled over to lift my hands in the air to thank God for another alternative to subpar McDonald's breakfasts. For so long, I've wished for a place that served good chicken biscuits not ever realizing that CFA was but a short drive away. Every day between noon-2pm, there are employees outside (I'm assuming weather permitting) to take orders from drive thru customers face to face. When I inquired into the purpose of this, I was politely informed that it was to develop more of a connection of sorts to their customers. Brilliant! I do feel for them when it's really hot outside but they still manage to have smiles on their faces. My kids love going here as do I. We probably eat here way too much but it's so good. I love what the company stands for and will continue to support it 100%. Update: Made a visit today and saw signs announcing free chicken sandwich for Teacher Appreciation Week and I inquired as to whether they were also recognizing nurses for Nurse Appreciation Week. Sadly, I was told that they were not at this location. A part of me is upset by this because we nurses are a vital part of the community just as teachers, paramedics, firefighters, and others are. We were having a hard time parking our large vehicle so we drove to an adjoining parking lot. The owner walked alllll the way over to inquire if we needed help and if we were interested in eating at his restaurant. He was very helpful in getting us situated, delivering food, and offered additional support if we needed a diaper change of anything with our kids in the car. I am never disappointed at this location. Today I tried the grilled chicken sandwich...delish! I enjoyed that it actually tasted the way it was advertised: like it was just grilled on an open flame. Paired it with my favorite drink, lemonade, and I was in heaven! The kiddo went for the nuggets but she picked the side of fruit (maybe my eating habits are rubbing off on her? One can only hope.) Her meal was super fresh with a colorful assortment of fruit including blueberries, apples and pineapple. Paired with a cold non-fat chocolate milk and you have yourself one happy mother! The restaurant is always clean and tidy, but what really makes me happy to return is the courteous staff: they're always cheerful, obliging and consistent. Love them for their support of Law Enforcement. But I also love them for their food, the fries are to die for, and I love the chicken strips/nuggets. I am always so impressed by their customer service here too, it's way more than you would expect when it comes to fast food, but I love it! I don't write reviews often, but here I am, so this place deserves it. A couple months back, my work decided to order a large catering order for a lunch meeting we were having serving about 40 people. I arrived with another fellow employee around 11:30am to find the restaurant packed. There was nearly no parking spaces but we found one and went in. Nearly every seat was taken as it was lunch time. We went up to the counter to pay for our large order and were met with a smile. After waiting about 5 minutes we were given our order AND the electronic bags to keep them warm that we were told were worth nearly $300. They said to bring them back when we were finished. To top it off we both got free drinks and some nuggets as a gift. That is going above and beyond in my opinion. Now a couple weeks later we returned again for another large order to find that it was national cow appreciation day. The place was packed once again with kids dressed up in cow costumes to get their free meals. Plus this location had someone dressed up as a cow taking pictures with the kids. This is the busiest that I have ever seen a restaurant. The line was out the door. Still I was met with a smile and didn't wait long and an employee helped carry our food out to my car. The drive thru was wrapped around the building but yet this location managed to run like a well organized operation, with all employees smiling. Basically controlled chaos. I have had this same experience at other Chik-fil-A's as well. I don't know what they are doing here, but it's right. In my opinion it is the best restaurant chain in terms of customer service.
