I really like that you can choose a different heat level for each item, which makes this a great option if you're trying Dave's for the first time or sharing with someone who has a different spice tolerance. We tried mild and medium, and medium was honestly more flavorful than painfully spicy for us. I could definitely see us going hotter next time. The chicken itself was crispy, well-seasoned, juicy, and the Dave's Sauce is a MUST. The Hot Mozz was also a fun addition and made the sampler feel a little different from a standard chicken meal. The restaurant was very busy and packed, but it had a fun, energetic fast-casual atmosphere. The interior is bright and modern with Dave's signature graffiti-style artwork, an open counter/kitchen setup, and a pretty constant flow of people coming in from the outlets. Despite how busy it was, the staff was overall friendly. My biggest disappointment was that we were told the Big Trio came with fries, so I chose my three items based on that understanding. Unfortunately, there were no fries included. I also don't really understand the two plain slices of white bread that come with the meal--they weren't toasted or anything, just two slices of bread. Also, be aware that extras can add up. Additional sauces, pickles, etc. are charged separately, so it can start to feel a little nickel-and-dime-ish. I'd say now that I've eaten White Castle and watched that movie, I think the movie is even funnier now because the movie makes it sound like it's the best thing ever when it's decent more than anything. First off I won't use the drive-through because their other locations have AI and it's hard to place in order properly through it. I just rolled with it and walked up to the counter. Thankfully, they don't have kiosks in this location yet so I was able to order at the counter. I just was getting something simple or so I thought. I ordered four cheeseburgers with spicy brown mustard, extra pickles and extra onions. I got a small order of the onion petals and I had a free drink in the app. Ordering was painless and the woman who took care of me was very helpful. She went over the order and I was hopeful. I realized that all these extra people in the restaurant were some sort of corporate people or something. There was one gentleman that was decked out head to toe in White Castle colors and he had on the best White Castle hat I have ever seen. Back to my food now. I had got my order to go and I double checked that everything was there and headed home. Once I got home, things went a bit south. The meal was good and I did enjoy it. We noticed on this day alot of servers had zero pep and a lot of them were just standing around while theit customers waited for their food. Once the food came we were happy with the meal but once again we never saw our server once the food was placed on the table. We waited over a half hour again and had to find a manager to get our check, the server never came back to even say sorry. This was probably the worst experience we have had in the 10yrs of coming to this location. We will be back but hope this was a one off and we will make sure our server Brandon will never serve us again.
