visited this place past weekend for breakfast before our road trip. food took a while to come out and the guy who took our order on the drive through over-ordered our order. we ordered like 6 orders but ended up getting 7. and we were charged for it. we didnt notice until we were like 5 miles away. we ended up throwing up the extra cus nobody wanted it and didnt want to drive back. the guy was a nice guy though, just wished he didnt over-ordered. paid extra $7 and it went to trash. will i come back? i dont think so until chick-fil-a refunded me the extra order. or at least comped me on my next sandwich. read more

My family are true fans of this chain and my kids grew up eating their chicken nuggets and waffle fries...unfortunately the Pasadena store consistently under-breads their chicken breasts. When you remove the top of the bun you can see the white chicken flesh right through the coating and the coating itself is yellow ...instead of the nut brown of a properly prepared piece of fried chicken. I tried to communicate this to management on-site several different times and left messages on their feedback line but got no response.The sandwiches got so bad we now drive extra distance to go to the Azusa Chick Fil A , where they know what they are doing.....boo this restaurant! read more

I hate how much I love you Chick-fil-A. You are so good but so bad (for me). This place is my ultimate "fast-food" favorite. The chicken is always cooked PERFECTLY, they definitely have that down. The waffle fries are my favorite fast-food fries, they are crispy but never too crispy. They also have GLUTEN FREE BUNS which I super appreciate. This particular location is always busy, and the drive thru is usually very long, but they have employees taking your order at your car and they will bring your food out to you, so the lines goes pretty quickly. I have to commend this place in terms of their drive thru process. They have two lines with workers working the line with their iPads to take orders because both lines are busy. They have a worker near the window taking the payment. They have a worker outside of the window taking orders to cars that are in the line. Very efficient. read more

I hate to write this. Chick-fil-A as a company is amazing. It appears that they have an amazing culture and values. This location, however, struggles to match that at all. I live close by to this location and have been coming here since it opened a few years ago. Throughout that time, I've seen very little change on the issues I first encountered in food order accuracy. I know that there are a ton of employees who are first time in the work force, high school to college aged, etc so it's not entirely unexpected. But the way that management handles situations has been a wide range of "I really don't care we got your order wrong" to "We're so sorry!" Here are my examples: Two months ago, I ordered on their app two meals, one for my wife, one for myself. After I picked up the order (I should have checked before I left, new dad brain was definitely on), got home, and realized that we were missing a sandwich. I went back, one of their assistant managers apologized, had a look on his face of "not again," brought back the sandwich and a gift card for the error. This morning, my wife went back because there was another sandwich missing again (we checked and thought we felt the right number of sandwiches, fail), and had to wait in line for 10 minutes before being handed her sandwich with no apology, a look of "I don't care" from the manager after asking for an explanation, and left. Considering that this is the closest Chick-fil-A to us, we still will be patrons at this store because the food is delicious. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with this regularly and we hope that the management team will address what seems to be a consistent message across many of the reviews here. read more

Won't be coming here again. I ordered a meal and instead of a soft drink I always get water instead which I always get a bottled water. This time they gave me a cup of water and was told they would charge me if I want a bottled water or a beverage when I specifically ordered a meal. I frequent this Chick-Fil-A pretty regularly, especially since I started working in Pasadena. It is located right by Pasadena City College. The parking here is pretty tight, with a small parking lot and a double lane drive-thru that usually backs up into the street. If you park right by the drive-thru, chances are you will probably be blocked in. I recommend either getting your food from the drive-thru or parking closer to entrance of the restaurant rather than towards the back. The inside of this Chick-Fil-A is pretty big with a ton of tables, an area where you can wait if you did a mobile order, and a playhouse area. Staff here is really nice and helpful, as with most Chick-Fil-As. Food is pretty consistent for the most part and I don't think I've ever gotten my order wrong. Overall, solid Chick-Fil-A location! Whenever I need my taste of home fix (especially sweet tea) I always go to Chick Fil-A in Pasadena! I love love LOVE their spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries. The food and service are always excellent, but it can get really busy at lunch time. If you really want to beat the lunch rush, I would recommend hitting the drive-thru at about 11:15 a.m. for the quickest service. While I really wish we had a Chick Fil-A in Glendale, considering the quality and friendliness of staff, the short drive to Pasadena isn't all that bad. read more

I came here like a week ago, this place is so stingy with their sauces. They gave me two sauces for the three meals I bought, and when I asked for extra sauce they only gave me one extra sauce lol.. what?!?! I like Chick-fil-A's food, but they need to get their online ordering system up to speed. Be careful if placing an order online for pick up. A "glitch" occurred in their system, according to a team member, and my order wasn't made. Despite the fact that my credit card seems to have been charged and I have an order number. After waiting over 25 minutes in the parking lot, and no one answering the restaurant phone, I was finally able to clarify what happened to my order. Oh, but not before breakfast is now over. And since the charges to my card aren't yet final, I have to wait to prove that, and return to the restaurant to get my refund. Waste of time, with no food in the end. And of course they're closed Sundays, so now I have to return during a work week to resolve an issue that shouldve never occurred. Get it together, Chick-fil-A! read more

This Chick-fil-A is always busy. They have a great drive thru here that allows them to have a big line of cars without causing traffic issues on Colorado Blvd which is always a plus. pulled up to chick-fil-a around 10:30 am today. I was craving their lunch menu and ordered it via drive thru. I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches and an 8 piece nugget. the server warned me that it would take a little more time than usual because they don't usually serve their lunch menu at this time. I was cool with it. The sandwiches were good, but it was the nuggets that were a problem. seeing as how they were in a "rush" to make my non-existent lunch order. The nuggets felt rushed and even towards the end, one of the nuggets looked bitten off and there was a cold pink center in the nuggets.. Because thats what just happened to me I asked for an extra sauce and one of your employees told me it would be $0.50 I had already paid for my meal so I told her I didn't want it because who carry's coins with them anymore and I didn't want to pull my card back out to pay for sauce so I left but when I got home I looked on the website and does not say you charge for sauce. Thank you Arnie for being so incredibly attentive, efficient, friendly, and aware of any guest's needs that could arise. Actually, all the staff were great! This place was clean, the Cobb Salad I had was delicious, and it was just a delightful place to dine while waiting for my car to be repaired nearby. Every time I order a non spicy deluxe sandwich they give me a spicy one and I end up not eating. This happened three times to me.

So I normally have a great experience at Chick-fil-A. But not today sadly. So the employee taking my order was very dismissive at the drive thru and I understand it's packed and it's busy and it's hot but no need to be rude the person at the window when I payed cash was also very annoyed and dismissive. Also, download their app and get a free breakfast meal. There's plenty of parking at this location and service is pretty fast. If you have a chance, try all their sauces. Our new favorite place to go with kids. Clean place, friendly and polite stuff, healthy choice of food and clean play structure for kids. Pricier than McDonald's but sure beats it. No food allowed in play area which is a big plus and girls don't leave with nasty socks and dirty clothes like it always happens with McDonald's and Burger King. I love this Chick-Fil-A. Been coming here right after it opened and it's the closest one near me. I always forget to check-in. The staff is excellent, beyond comparison. They are happy to work there. I've been to this place in the rain, when it's super hot and when it's freezing cold, and I usually go through the drive-thru. They smile and are cheerful, even when there is a huge line and the environment isn't ideal. Great customer service all around. Because it's so busy, once in a long while there are mistakes; I don't get what I ordered. I make a call and they make up for it in a way that makes me feel appreciated. I just went today to pick up my food that was missing in a previous order and then decided to order more for later. Today I especially want to thank Bethany and Caleb, who really helped me and huge kudos to their entire staff. I could see everyone working hard and being good at what they do. I'll be back! I usually love chick fil a but this morning visit really took the cake on being the worst experience. I ordered the chicken grilled club WITH cheese, when it came it didn't have cheese. Then when I sent it back it came without cheese again. I went up to the front of the line and told them that this is the second time they returned it without cheese, and then when they brought it back for the third time They had the nerve to bring it back with the stalest, coldest slice of cheese on top of the order. 8/2/19: Came here with my boyfriend in the drive thru for lunch. Ordered a spicy chicken deluxe large combo with a large powerade and large fries. We also ordered a 12 piece chicken nugget entree. They gave us a lot of Chick fil a sauce, but the ice for the powerade was not light ice. They also asked us if we wanted a straw or not, which is great for sea turtles, but they still have us a straw even though we said no. I love chick fil a though, the cashier was very nice. read more

Whatever you do, don't order through third party pickup. Food will arrive 45 minutes late and cold because drivers have to wait in drive thru line with everyone else. They don't care to come outside the building for morning orders to get drivers in the way once order is ready. read more
