I've been putting this review off for a bit. This was the first time I ate at a Chick-fil-A. I probably should have had their main chicken sandwich, but I opted for the grilled one. While more healthy, it was just so... Pedestrian. Mind you, I may be missing the point. But it was actually just and ok chicken sandwich. I will try their regular one at some point. But for now it was just "meh"... However, this place shines (in some cases, literally) in cleanliness and stellar customer service. The staff was curteous and helpful... They even seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I was super impressed with that aspect. Hopefully my next chicken sandwich here results in the same feelings I have about their service. Bottom line... About what I expected from a well thought of chain. Probably would have been 2 stars on the food and 5 stars on the customer service and venue. read more

My son and I love this place! We come about once per week (oops, not so good on my waistline but gotta keep my 4 year old happy). This place is always crackalackin yet we always get our food in a speedy manner, drive-thru or dine in. Our food has always tasted good and DEM WAFFLE FRIES!! So yummy. My son talks about them all the time, lol. I also appreciate that they have gluten free options. Thank you for that! The fresh flowers on the tables are such a nice touch. The establishment is always very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean although they are always super busy. The condiment and napkin section is always fully stocked. Love that they offer alcohol/sani wipes for after eating. My kid is messy! Oh, and thanks for asking if we'd like a drink refill. That's awfully nice! And thanks for handing us our food at our table instead of making us wait around. All staff members have been very nice to us. In fact, they are unusually cordial unlike any other place. Good luck getting that kind of service at Burger King or McDonalds!! Seriously. I also appreciate the kids play area. It's small but makes my kiddo happy. Most fast food joints in the Puyallup area DO NOT have a child play area so... We just ate there today and sat by the window facing the drive-thru. I couldn't believe how many cars were coming out of the drive-thru and how fast they were getting their food. I mean, the bags were in the drivers hand RiGHT when they pulled up to the window. Very efficient compared to other places where you sit for 20 mins waiting for your yucky, overpriced greaseball burger. Oh, and they greet you with a smile. Most of the time I am asked how my day is going. That just doesn't happen at a lot of places these days. They are a lot more personable here and make it a point that customer service is their priority. read more

Overall it's a great place. It gets a little rude sometimes later at night when the certain teenagers are working but otherwise it's quick and friendly. The food is consistent and almost always fresh. What can I say? This is one of our favorite fast food places. Always fresh and delicious, and great quality. Today was a little off, as our kids meal was brought to the table without fries in the bag. When I took it up front, the person I told almost acted as if I was lying and had hidden the fries somewhere... anyway, they gave me the fries and life went on, but it was an odd encounter. It's always very clean there, and I especially appreciate the small touches.... like "place mats" for kids, a step stool in the bathroom for young kids, and fresh flowers on the tables. read more

this is probly my 2nd overall review of a fast food restaurant.. so Chick-fil-A ha? 1st 1 I been 2 was in Georgia.. yep.. where it is originally from n the so claimed original owners of the chicken sandwich creation that was soon 2 b followed by many other copycats out there.. I remember going 2 some location up in Atlanta like Old Nat'l Hwy or something just 2 have a bite of their chicken n hopefully a peach shake, as during the time.. it was limited-time only n also, during the time.. I ordered a large strawberry lemonade yesterday in Tukwila and got a 32 ounce size which was great for the price. I stopped by the Puyallup branch today and ordered a large strawberry lemonade the gentleman in the drive-through said they only had one size so I said OK and when I got to the pick up line was a 16 ounce strawberry lemonade it was very disappointing. You would think that between the two franchises that they would be more consistent with their sizing I would prefer to pay the almost $3.00 for the 32 ounce size versus the 16 ounce. Guess where I will be spending my money, in Tukwila. read more

Had never eaten here before, listening to all the liberals whining about the company's political stance, thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the "spicy chicken," meal with fries. When I first got It, I peeked inside to see what was in there. Was surprised at how little, other than the chicken was there. Thought "oh crap, boring ," OMG, best chicken sandwich EVER. Spicy but not ridiculously so, soft bun. Delicious. Fries were a little different. Look like a truck full of fries ran into a truck full of waffles. Tasted fine, just a little odd looking. Passed on their "sauce," may have screwed up there. Hope all the whiny lib snowflakes stay away, more for "moi!" Service, quick, polite and friendly. read more

First time every going to Chick-fil-A was at the Puyallup location. Growing up here in WA I've never gone, but my family in the south has said nothing but good things. First off, I give them a 5* review before even trying the food. Everyone I came into contact with was so respectful, so kind. When I asked for more sauce the lady giving me my order put it in my bag for me. It's the little things they do that make the experience as a whole so pleasant. I felt like I was in the South while in the building. I was a returning customer before I even had my food in hand. Not to mention after trying the food I will certainly return. Added bonus, the sweet tea is actual, real sweet tea! Knowing the morals and culture behind the company will ensure my returnees businesses. read more

Have been here at least 5 times in the past year. Would probably give 5 stars for service, 4 stars for food - the waffle fries actually outshine the chicken in our opinion - and 3 stars for the location which is crammed in a corner lot that is difficult to access and congested with drive up parking. They do try to make the best of it but we usually end up parking in an adjacent lot and walking in, which is a pain. Overall give 4 stars. I've been going to chick-fil-a for over 10 years (in Texas) & I have never experienced what I experienced today at the puyallup location. As you can see in the picture, the chicken does not looked cooked well. It looks bloody. It was disappointing, because I don't live in puyallup & I went all the way there to get dinner. About three of my meals were nuggets & when I found this, we all threw away our food, because that just made us all scared to eat the rest of the food from there. read more

I really wanted to give Chick-fil-A a good review, since I absolutely loved it when I was in high school in Massachusetts and haven't had any since I was 15 (I'm 31 now). I've been looking forward to trying some since I saw that they were opening one up in Puyallup. The service was good going through the actual drive through. There was a bit of a line, even at 11:00. Ordering was simple enough (they have employees out at the drive up speakers taking orders, kind of weird, but whatever) and considering the line size, I can't complain about the wait time. VERY friendly service, as well, so kudos to them on that. I got into my waffle fries immediately and they were hot, fresh, and tasty. Those fries didn't last until I got home to get into my sandwich. So now, the reason for only three stars. I ordered the SPICY CHICKEN DELUXE, guys. You gave me the regular chicken deluxe! I even asked for the pepper jack cheese that comes on the spicy, and still got bland old regular cheese. The chicken itself is great. It's definitely tender and juicy and tasty. But I wanted SPICY! As for the reviews complaining it's too expensive, go grab a chicken sandwich meal at any other fast food place. You'll pay about the same. The chicken strip portion seems a bit small compared to, say, a KFC, but KFC also loves to overcook theirs and dry it out. What the hell... my wife and I have not gone to the restaurant for over a year due to a bad experience now we decided to go again and started our order and my wife wanted a fruit cup only strawberries. We have ordered this before and had no issue. The training manager (Zach) just said NO. Nothing else. What kind of managers do you have he is such a jerk. Then the store called after I sent a complaint to corporate, and the lady that called did not give a title or name; Said that they don't do those requests. This place gives tiny amounts of food and is very expensive. I think the nuggets are micro nuggets because they're so minuscule you almost need tweezers to eat them. I noticed that these people have mastered the craft of packaging the product in such a way that it's kinda like getting that dollar store gift wrapped up in a magnificent box and wrapping paper complete with elaborate bow. Quite frankly, I don't understand what the big todo is all about. The food doesn't really taste good. The sauces are nasty. I took some time and gave them a few chances before deciding to finally write a less than positive review. This place was great when it first opened, or at least up to par with the others that I've been to. Last night was it for me. I will not be returning. My daughters brought me here for my birthday dinner. From the minute we walked in(just past 9 pm) it was apparent that the only thing the employees cared about was closing. All but a few tables had the chairs put up and the restrooms were closed. I could have written that off even though I was hoping to pee after being in the car for 7 hours. But the food was horrible, like inedible horrible. I didn't think it was possible for chik-fil-a to taste worse than a Banquet meal, but this location possesses a special enough skill set to pull it off. The chicken was downright gross, the fries were old and soggy, too salty, and inedible, and worst of all was the lemonade, which tasted like windex. The lids weren't put on properly and 2 of them spilled before we made it back out to the car, but since there was nothing worth drinking in the cups oh well. I didn't like my new Uggs anyway. Also, my daughters both have diarrhea today. They both ate the less than tasty chicken while I did not. Since we haven't dined anywhere else and they haven't eaten anything else in common and don't live together I think it's more than a coincidence. Drive to a different location. If you're craving those perfect waffle fries or that oh so sweet lemonade you sure won't find it at this dump. read more

As a former Chick-fil-a employee at another location, I know it's hard to get food out quickly. I am normally also a big fan of chick-Fil-a, but not of this particular restaurant. Their food is delicious, if you don't mind waiting awhile. I have never been to a Chick-fil-A that takes over 20 minutes (not exaggerating, I've been timing it) to get an order out. At the Chick-fil-A I used to work at, as soon as someone arrived to pick up their to-go order, we had to get it out to them in less than a minute. Even if I order on the app well before I'm at the restaurant, it still takes a long time before it's ready. Not only has this Chick-fil-A been slow to get food out, more often than not, they have gotten my order wrong. I always double-check the bag now to make sure everything is correct. I often ask for the grilled club with a white bun instead of the wheat bun it comes with, but the majority of the time I order this, I end up getting the sandwich with no bun-once I got it with two buns. I finally gave up on ordering it this way since that always happened. You also have to ask for the oven roasted BBQ sauce even though the Grilled Club says it comes with it. It has never been in the bag when I've ordered that sandwich. As I mentioned, this Chick-fil-A's food is delicious, if you don't mind waiting awhile and check to make sure they got your order correct. read more

How is this not rated 5-stars?!? This is my absolute favorite place for lunch! The staff is always friendly and so accommodating. They even remember my 3-year-old daughter, which makes her day! We love the clean atmosphere too! Staff comes by to ask if you need refills too! Don't even get me started on how great the food is, lol. Love the play place! My ONLY con with this particular Chick-Fil-A would be the drive-thru/ pedestrian path. You need to walk through the drive-thru to enter the building. Seems like a poor setup to me. Always the best customer service! I have never had a bad experience here and they are beyond polite! They ask for your name and usually say it 1-4 times during the whole transaction it's ma'am or sir otherwise. They are my favorite fast food style place to go to now! I'm praying they open one out in Graham! And I had their breakfast for the first time last week as I never even realized they served it and man am I impressed! Last weekend we visited Chick-fil-A in Puyallup, it has been several weeks since they opened and the crowd was not bad at all. We only waited about five total minutes in the drive thru. In typical Chick-fil-A fashion, the employees were courteous and respectful and our food was hot and fresh. The frozen lemonade is delicious, it's basically ice cream blended with lemonade. Super delicious! I was a little disappointed that they asked me if I wanted sauce, and when I requested honey mustard, they forgot to include it. Overall, great experience! Delicious food! I've liked Chick-fil-a for years but was very doubtful that a location on Meridian would work. However, they are very doing well to get your order and deliver your meal quickly. Of course it's clean because it's a new store. But they are also friendly and really understand the need to drive thru quickly.
