Have visited this location several times and in true Chick-Fil-A fashion the staff is always over accommodating to their guests always making you feel like you are "family". We stopped by here on our way out of town after visiting a relative at the hospital down the street. We had hoped to let our kids stretch their legs in the playground, but this is one of the few chic-fil-a restaurants without a playground. We arrived at 12pm and were pleasantly surprised for how fast the service was. In fact, we took some time deciding and were repeatedly asked of we were ready. They have been well trained to provide quick service. The one demotion in a star was the cleanliness of the restaurant during the rush hour. There was one woman who appeared to be a manager of some kind based on her shirt. She was walking around cleaning tables with a dirty rag and no cleaner. I don't write reviews very often, but I do fell compelled to write the most positive one for this Chick-Fil-A on Lake Boone Trail. I live less than a mile from this location and our family goes all the time. Tonight my teen son didn't have enough money on his card to cover the bill, and they were so gracious and gave him the food anyway. Anytime I've been through the drive-thru, it's always so fast, friendly and efficient. The staff they select are always on the ball. We went through drive thru and ordered 2 meals. It was right at 7 and I didn't realize they were closing (because who closes at 7pm??). They only put 1 of our meal fries in the bag and by the time I realized and came back, they were closed. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't purposefully miss the fries because they didn't want to make more, but even if it was accident, they need to do a better of job of making sure orders go out right. Especially at the end of the night when a person won't have an opportunity to come back for correction. After a long day of traveling, the first thing I thought about when I got off the plane at RDU was the chick-fil-a meal I was going to purchase on the way back home for a late dinner. Looking back, I should have gone with my second choice, a Whole Foods salad, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20. Once at chick-fil-a, I ordered a wrap with no chicken as I do not eat meat. To my dismay, when I arrived home and opened the bag, there was my wrap...LOADED with chicken. So for dinner tonight I had a couple pieces of lettuce since that was all that was left after I picked out all the chicken. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I will not leave the drive thru line from now on until I have checked that my meal is prepared correctly, which is quite inconvenient if you ask me. read more

Chick-fil-A was lunch last Thursday. My coworker downloaded the app so she got a free sandwich. I'd also downloaded it, but somehow the free sandwich didn't pop up for me. I had the spicy chicken sandwich meal and Chick-Fil-A sauce, with waffle fries, and a lemonade. Delicious. My only complaint is that they don't have ketchup and silverware at the kiosk with straws, napkins, and salt and pepper. Makes no sense to me. So, I had to go back to the counter twice to ask for them. Our service was fast, friendly, and served with the traditional, "My pleasure" salutation as well. I like this Chick-fil-A! Honestly I feel like this chain has the most consistent service across the board in Raleigh. I usually just go through the drive-thru, but the other day my mom was in town and she had never been so we sat on their patio. The cashier brought everything out to us on the patio which I think is such a nice touch, they totally don't need to do that. I go to Chick-fil-A a lot and often times I just get a vanilla ice coffee or their frosted coffee. Did you know their ice coffee is legit cold brew?! I think it's so cool that they take the extra step like that and let me tell you its reallll tasty and under $3! Tastes so much better than any other fast food iced coffee, not watered down and full of flavor. Man, those frosted coffees are like an addiction. I probably would have never tried one, but they messed up one time and gave that to me instead of the cold brew and man oh man I was hooked. Please don't make your employees stand outside in the rain (in 40 degree temps) to take drive-thru orders - this made me very uncomfortable. I don't understand why you would ask them to do this. The BEST Chick-fil-A EVER! I have been a patron of this particular Chick-fil-A going on two years now and I have never seen a team so thorough, efficient, and pleasant consistently. You should know that I have always held Chick-fil-A to higher standard simply because I have yet to run across an irksome or unlikable employee yet... while I have experienced very long waits and mixed up orders at many Chick- fil-A Restaurants, the fact that a satisfying exchange within the fast food industry is hard to come by I would easily over look any issues. However, with Lake Boone Trail Chick-fil-A in the 2 years I have not once had any issues with my orders nor have I had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my food and they are located in a very busy area. Unheard of right? Exactly! I realize I may be Jinxing my streak of good luck with no issues, but hey, no one's perfect ALL the time. Which is why when I come to this particular Chick-fil-A I am always at awe of the well oiled machine that is David,the manager,and his team. I am prior military so I take special notice of organized efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail and can appreciate it when it is in motion. It is truly an amazing and pleasant experience.
