Classic Campero Chicken Sandwich Meal, Mac & Cheese, Chocolate Chip Cookie

The staff were very friendly, all bilingual. I loved the clean outdoor eating area. They provide you with real plates to eat off of and a staff member came to check on us while we were eating. They bring the food out to your table. Chicken sandwich was really crispy! Mac & cheese was very cheesy. There was a good crowd there when we arrived, but we got our food right as we sat down. I will say, not a fan of having to buy a meal, and then a drink (meals are only the food + one side), but that is the franchise issue not particular to this one location. Little pricey, but it's a step above from fast food with the service & experience & atmosphere, but there's not much they can do about franchise pricing. Definitely a good place to to check out and try, considering Rock Hill has had the same options for food for the past 10 years!

I got myself a chicken sandwich, and the chicken looks really fresh, spotless, as well as the other food parts in the sandwich.

Start things off with a refreshing Stiltsville Special Rum Punch or a tasty Junipa Colada, a bubbly pineapple soda with Spiced Rum. Then dive into a delicious plate of Mariquitos Nachos, a classic plate of Arroz con Pollo, or the amazing Lechon Asado (tender roast pork marinated with onions). If you're dining with friends, order a few dishes and pass them around -- most are big enough to share. Service was outstanding on both our visits here, and ample parking is available in the Apex decks. We went on Monday, not a busy day in the middle of the afternoon however our server gave us some the best experience. He was very knowledgeable about all the items. He made great suggestions and was attentive. Our only complaint was the yuca. It was very bland. Flavorless. Everything else was very flavorful. The beef you could tell was marinated as well as tender. It just fell apart with the pull of a fork. The Cubano was great as well. I had the Tampa cubano that added the salami. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. We love that there was a variety of items to choose from .

After one meal here, we understood why. Calle Sol has a cool laid back vibe, great service, strong mojitos, and food that absolutely delivers. The ceviche is the star for a reason. Super fresh with bright flavor, and the crispy plantains alongside it were the perfect seafood fish combo. The skinny spicy margarita with the tajín rim and mojitos were excellent too. Our favorite was the Cuban rice. Rich flavor with this aioli on top that made everyone at the table keep stealing bites from each other. The vaca frita (beef) had great flavor with crispy edges done right, and the banana tres leches dessert was flat out dangerous. Easily enough for three people unless your family has zero self control. We don't really have Cuban food like this back home, so this felt like a treat. Safe to say our daughter picked a winner. We'll definitely be back next trip to Charlotte.

Wait for food is average for a 7 people. Ambiance: Pretty crowded. They do have outside seating. It's alright, usual south American ambience.

Wow, we made a great decision trying Mama Juana Latin Fusion. We had an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the host, we knew this was going to be something different. The host asked, and was genuinely excited when we told him it was our first time in. When the waiter arrived, he was excited to tell us about the menu, as well as the food itself. He enthusiastically explained that while they had Mexican dishes, authentic Latin food was their real specialty. He made great recommendations and took great care of us throughout the meal. We chose to try the empanadas (1 cheese, 1 chicken, and 1 steak) and some cheese dip with chorizo. Both were exceptional. Full of flavor. My wife and I agreed to split 2 entrees, and that was another good decision. I had the Cachapa with shredded chicken, and she had the Venezuelan Arepas. Neither of us had ever had these dishes, but both were amazing. We were stuffed, but no way we couldn't take a desert home for later. The flan and the Tres Leches were both AWESOME! If you are on the fence, just try this place. You will be glad you did! They take a tremendous of pride in the quality of the food. The restaurant was very clean and had a great ambiance.

The soup is something special--rich, flavorful, and genuinely comforting. It's easy to see why regulars rave about how it feels almost "healing"; it's the perfect start to any meal. As for their chicken, it's juicy, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. Whether you order a quarter, half, or whole, it's cooked just right and pairs well with classic sides like rice, beans, and plantains. Mr. Pollo does a great job balancing homestyle comfort with Latin American flair, making each bite memorable but not overcomplicated. What really makes Mr. Pollo worth visiting is not just the food, but the vibe. Service is warm and relaxed, and the atmosphere is unfussy--which is perfect when you just want good food without a lot of fanfare. If you're in the mood to try something new, the menu's got plenty of options, but even the basics are done really well. Whether it's a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner, Mr. Pollo hits the mark. Give it a try, especially if you want a meal that feels comforting and satisfying.

Hubby got the fried fish and liked it. I got their fish and shrimp peanut soup. Omg it was divine !!! That soup had amazing flavor !!! There was plenty of tuna and a few shrimp. The tuna seemed to sink to the bottom and was a bit dry. Next time I think I would get just shrimp, but the broth was delicious and unusual. We got one savory and one sweet cheese empanada. I highly recommend the savory one with it's melted goodness. I got the flan for dessert. It was good. But my favorite was the morocho that I took home to enjoy. It is a hot liquid beverage that reminds me of rice pudding. It was so yummy !!! We loved this place so much we came back again the next week on a Saturday. This time we tried the beef empanada. Hubby got the pork chops and I got the carne asada. Both came with rice, lentils, and small salad. The lentils were a little watery, but had decent flavor. I put them over the rice and that helped. They have a small jar of homemade salsa that was so good, I slathered it all over every bite of my carne asada. My plate came with tostones that were good and hubby's plate came with maduros. For dessert, I got the morocho to consume at the restaurant. Our waitresses were very nice both nights and spoke English. The owner checks on tables during the meal, which is admirable. My husband and I were the only non-latino people there, which is always a good sign the food is delicious. The first time we were there, the place was decorated for Valentine's Day.
